Kong @ MindSay
Ok enough of that, now I know why we are setting camp out here. Dad sold the house that Grandpa left him, at a really good price and we are going to move to another house by the bay down on Island Rd, just across the street from where Gung Gung used to live. I have never lived in an apartment in Hong Kong, so this is kind of "exciting?" I'll have to make it exciting, because renovation at island road has just started and it's going to take 9 months to finish! But then, I do not like to live in a place where the windows can't be open! I haven't got my own loo either. As I started to whine about the windows and restriction of freedom, Daddy handed me the in house menu... wow... we can order from all the surrounding hotels! & if all the restaurants inside PP, wow!!! I am most excited about having access to the pool at Conrad hotel, and there is a gym!!! Think I will check it out later, and try out some of the virtual reality rowing thing...
Tomorrow, i have tennis at the country club, and after that, Dad promised to take me to see the renovation at our new house! Can't wait. Then I am having lunch with Grandma and 3 of my other cousins. They have been back since 10th of June! It's so cool for those studying in the US.. their summer starts so early. Mom said we have to shop for a present for cousin Justin as he is graduating from Phillips Academy this year and got accepted to Harvard! I wish I was half as smart as him.
Everything seems much more exciting when I am home, back in hong kong and I am glad my parents have made some vacation plans for my summer. As soon as everyone is back from their school, we are off to Monaco and just like last year... our family cruise starts!!! Yay!! Can't wait.. for July 10th!!!
Jennifer just called and announced her return, haven't seen her since March so I asked mom if we meet up like now, and although it's late, mom said it's alright, since I probably has jet lag..hah. Mom's easy on me this time! Amazing!!
King Kong comes out on DVD tomorrow. I didn't see it in the theaters but I'm going to buy it anyway. I'm a fan of King Kong either way. Some people thought the start was too long, the boat scene...I guess they were trying to stay true to the original. Anyways, thats something I'm looking forward to.
Hey guys - so i told you the other day that i had gone to see King kong... well i dont think any of you would believe me if i said i had actually 'seen' the beast :) seriously i have - i have even stood in its hand :-p

Ahh, another year gone by. Lets recap this wonderful time and see what made this year, well, another 1999
Katrina, o yea there was a big hurricane that killed some people and made a lot of lazy people mad. Natural disasters happen, they suck but you can't do nothing about them so suk it up and ride the wave. (sorry bad joke)
What else?
Ahh... the Michael Jackson trial. What a fun event. Millions of people watching this crazy pedophiliac walk around with an umbrella just to be let down when he was found innoccent. I knew he would be innoccent because basically he's bad!

anything else?
Y yes, how could i forget about amazing Apple. These people cheated millions of people and made millions from people with thier ingenious plan of selling 16 versions of the same thing but keeping the cool factor with them. I applaude to thier marketing depatement for doing the best job of marketing and distribution in many many years.
Xbox 360 anyone? Yea that thing everyone really didn't want, but couldn't wait so bought it anyways then was upset because the reason they didn't want one occurred to them so they were let down with burn't tv cabinets and a smell of hot plastic in thier house.

The end of "Everyone loves Raymond" One of my favorite sitcoms ended. Arrested Development ended as well.

Terry Schiavo pulled the plug (bad joke?)
not to be mean but millions of people die around the world everyday and i really didn't care to much about ths one.
The King Kong movie with mini review
This movie is 3 hours and 7 minutes long. 3 HOURS AND 7 MINUTES. Now that i got that out of th way this movie IS for everyone.
It is a great classic film redone. The acting is great, Jack Black plays the PERFECT director. Everything is thier but it doesn't make me happy, because the important part of the movie is the love between the blonds and the beast. I couldn't get passed the fact that she is in love with a friggin giant gorrilla. Great movie thoughok 2005 for me was just a upset. Soooo, I say is lets drink this year good bye. Lets take out that spiked eggnog and listen to the sounds of settling.
Showing 1 - 5. [ Next ]
