must be primarily an internal, spiritual event, and only in a secondary way an external catastrophe. The gates of the Watchtowers...are mental constructions. When they are opened, they will admit [Satan] not into the physical world but into our subconcious minds...The apocalypse is a mental transformation that will occur, or is presently occurring, within the collective unconcious of the human race."
--Donald Tyson, "The Enochian Apocalypse"
Hello Kiddies..
There are several topics to cover today, so let's start with something simple.
Mindsay or Mindless.
Here is this company that gives us free space to express ourselves in an intelligent fashion. To reach out to the world. To share our thoughts and views on any subject that may take our fancy and yet, people write the dumbest shit I have ever seen. In fact, I've only come across one blog that was even remotely well written and interesting in any way, shape or form.
Most of these people write dull trivialities about their mundane existences that no one cares about today, let alone in the next twenty years. There is no thought, no real self expression just the mind numbing stupidity that never seems to end. These are the same people that send out mass emails to 'come view my blog~!" Oh yes, let's come view those wonderful words of wisdom from our fountain of youthful ignorance.
What words of wisdom you ask?
Well, John P. Masturbator* writes "I had McDonalds today". Well, bully for you kiddo, keep packing on those pounds, thank you for sharing. Thank you so much for keeping us abreast of the latest news and politics.
Not to be outdone we have Jane Q Dildo*, who wrote in to tell us that she is going to "dye my hair pink, because I miss looking like a skittle". Oh how the world weeps with joy at the delight of such a change. Fashion aficionado’s everywhere will be rushing out to all dye their hair pink. A new skittle craze is on it's way and I have been enlightened by such a fashion guru's quick thinking change of hair color.
Why, I almost feel the need to run out and get some hair dye myself!
Not.
If you don't have something interesting to say, or some opinion to share, shut up. No one cares. You are taking up space on the internet (and air in the world) that should be reserved for those people that do have things to contribute.
Now, let's get to the second subject. June 6, 2006 and the religious fanatics.
The most popular articles on msnbc news today are the following:
• Brad vs. Vince: Who’s the money?
• Iran’s top leader warns against U.S. attack
• Gore dispels idea of seeking presidency in ’08
• Climate Control, Beijing-Style
I won't get into the others, today we are just going to concentrate on the first one. Did you catch what it was? Yeah. I was shocked also. National news is being made over the a date once again and why is that you wonder? Well, apparently now that Brad Pitt has had his kid, he's no longer the number one news source!
I digress, let's get back to the date. Y2K anyone? The world is going to end, we mean it this time!
"Something about the number 666 brings out the worry, the hope and even the humor in people, said the Rev. Felix Just, a professor of theology at the University of San Francisco."
Rev. Felix Just (who apparently the national news has decided is the foremost expert on the subject, either that or the only one willing to look this stupid in front of a national audience. I'm going with the second choice myself) has a point. Not a good one, but a point that I happen to agree with.
Religious people everywhere around the world are all worried over the date on Tuesday. 666 is here my friends! Repent! Be saved! (and don't forget to donate 10% when the plate comes around, just incase the church is still there after 6-6-06). Never mind that the calendar has been changed over the centuries and that 6-6-06 is not even the same date it would have been when it was prophesized as an 'evil' number. (Scare quotes, be afraid, be very afraid!).
Think I'm full of shit? Here let me help the masses and give you a shred of proof.

What is it with people and their need to see the apocalypse from their religious icons? I was waiting for the world to end in a mass protest under the release of The Davinci Code. Sadly, I was disappointed. Not in the movie, just in the religious people's lack of protesting and throwing themselves in front of my car to stop me from seeing it.
So, people are afraid of the number 666. They are dreading the arrival of Tuesday, but wait, how many other places can we find 666 in our daily lives?
Here is what the article had to say.
"It’s a number that is part of every UPC barcode on groceries (a coincidence according to the code’s inventor). With biblical coding, 666 also is the number for the WWW of the World Wide Web."
So, you religious weirdo's out there, you should know that eating food from any grocery store is helping to fund the great 'evil' and let's not forget the internet where you find all those websites devoted to your chosen deity. They are the devils work.
For those of you who don't believe, don't worry, if they stop eating our population will go down and we will have less absurdity in the world. If they stop going on the internet, thankfully, there will be less bullshit that we have to go through to find someone actually making a rational and intelligent point.
You know kiddies.. It continually amazes me that people act like lemmings yet still are the dominant species on the planet. It is one of the cruelest jokes in the universe that humans, as a whole, don't have a higher mortality rate than a birth rate.
I blame modern science.
