Returning home from the studio, John Lennon is assassinated while walking toward the entryway of his building in 1980 of this day.

Gonna knock you right on the head
You better get yourself together
Pretty soon you're gonna be dead...

And all the power and the glory of the end of days for such is my career as a machinist...

I know I have prophesized my demise in days long gone past, but this time it feels different, it feels far closer to reality, it feels as if it were a given...

In my long and varied career in the realm of manual labour, there are things that I know for certain, and I know that once a member of management decides that an employee would be better off doing something else as a means for providing his or her daily bread, it will happen one way or another. Once a couple of jobs ago, it happened to me before, but that time I allowed myself to voluntarily terminate my employment, and I vowed that it would never end that way again. And it shan't for I will force them to do it on their own, and they are the one who will have to live with the consequences for in this world what goes around comes around - the circle will not be broken...

Karma is a groovy thing; just ask my former manager who forced me out of that job so many years gone passed...

And around and around this world turns on its journey through space and around and my thoughts turn for this is my fate in this existence - to think about the world as it turns. As one door closes another opens, as one day ends another begins, and such is life...

I suppose I should be angry about the entire situation that I find myself in, but that is not the case. I just go about my job awaiting the end...
