Evils of Black Liberation Theology preached by Wright

Have you noticed that the Mainstream Media (MSM), Democrats and Republicans are predicting Jeremiah Wright’s racism against Whites, friendship with anti-Semitic Farrakhan and the promotion of the Black Liberation Theology will have little effect on Barack Hussein Obama’s Campaign if he should win the Democratic Nomination for President?

It must be a Politically Correct think for those three groups to agree on the effect of Wright.

I am here to tell you that Black Liberation Theology (BLT) alone not just Wright’s deviant Black Supremacist/Victimhood stance should affect how Americans vote if Obama should win the Democratic nomination.

Proponents of BLT have said the theology stems from the concern Jesus Christ had for the poor and downtrodden. Critics have viewed BLT as Black Supremacism disguised with the word “Christianity”. BLT is more akin to Marxism and the Black Power movements (such as the Black Panthers or Nation of Islam). BLT criticizes the White Man for all the ills the Black Man’s past history and present circumstances, utilizing facts to distort the impact on Blacks is a huge exaggeration of BLT.

Rev. Rob Schenck was on Hannity’s America show discussing Jeremiah Wright’s embracing of BLT. Schenck made it clear that BLT is very close to the Liberation Theology of Latin America which was overtly pro-Marxist (supporting Latin American Communists), Anti-Catholic and Anti-American.

Get Thee Behind Me, Reverend

So Barack Obama has finally chucked Rev. Jeremiah Wright completely under the bus and backed over him
for good measure. That is all well and good even if it is a smidge too late. I was advocating totally shafting The Rev immediately after the initial brouhaha in March but I understood the motivation behind Obama taking a softer approach. It was obvious that Obama didn't want to test the strength of his support among black folks by denouncing his pastor who just so happened to be spouting some ideas that a good number of black people agree with. The gamble he was taking by going soft was that he could possibly lose ground among white voters and Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania eventually showed us that was indeed the case.
So now with Obama being on shaky ground with a siazable portion of white Dem voters he is making a move that he hopes will help him win that group over.
This does lead me to believe that he doubts that black voters will care that he is completely renouncing Wright and his views and that he has their votes locked up from now until the end of this race. I would caution him against being too confident thouhg. When the Wright controversy first started a lot of black people looked at The Rev's comments as being full of ideas that they share and to see Obama do a complete 180 on Wright and his preachings could cause some black voters to turn away from Obama.
There are a few things that Obama said today that kinda irks me though. First was his statement that, "The person that I saw yesterday was not the person that I had come to know over 20 years." Sorry but how can you be as close to a guy as Obama was to Wright and not know what type of person he is? Calls into question that whole judgment thing as far as I'm concerned.
Secondly I am curious to know what the hell Wright said or did that was so wild yesterday that has caused Obama to take this step? When the tapes came out Obama went on and on about how Wright's comments were taken out of context yet all of a sudden something was said by Wright that broke the camel's back so to speak?     I'm not buying it.
I think what really happened is that Wright's repeated comments about Obama's reaction to the controversial video tapes being just the actions of a run of the mill politician royally pissed off the Obama camp. That assessment from Obama's "uncle" flies in the face of his whole campaign message at a time when things aren't going nearly as well as Obama hoped they would be going just two short months ago.
    Truth hurts sometimes I guess.
I am curious as to what happens to Grandma Obama now, though.

Jaffa Examines Wright’s Bad Attitude
Obama and Rev Jeremiah Wright_edited.JPG hosted for free by ImageShack

Writing for the Claremont Institute, Harry V. Jaffa rebuts the anti-American, anti-white, generally racist and Black victimization sermon excerpts you probably have heard or read of Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

In case one has been ignoring the American Race for President of the United States, Wright was the former Senior Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ and the acknowledged spiritual mentor of Barack Hussein Obama.

The one angle I am not sure I agree with Jaffa is his unique theme of justifying White enslavement of Black Africans that eventually have become African-Americans. I don’t disagree with his reasoning; however his case just comes across as the very attitude that has made Black Americans agree with Wright’s vision of Black victimization by the “White Man.”

In my way of thinking racism is racism. It is irrelevant if the racists are White or Black. If a Black person hates a person because he is White it is wrong. If a White person hates a Black person because he is Black it is wrong.

I am certain a Black American that reads Jaffa’s essay and has any knowledge of history will point out that many of the Founding Fathers that are claimed to decry the institution of slavery were slave owners until the day they died. This includes icons like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

With that bit of criticism on my part I have to say Jaffa’s essay is a good read that examines the reality of times of the existence of slave institution in America. An America in which a Black man still faces some hurdles yet with some good old fashioned American work ethic can and have become successful citizens of the United States of America. So I say get over your past and contribute to building a future in which racism becomes merely a practice of the fringe few or with God’s help eliminated (the last thought of elimination may be a bit utopian but I had to add it).

Jeremiah Wright

I do not know where to begin.  I am in complete shock listening to some of Jeremiah Wright's sermons.  This is Barack Obama's pastor, for those of you who might not be informed.  I do not go to church often.  As a matter of fact, aside from funerals, I haven't been in about 10 years.  It does not matter in the sense that I am virtually guaranteed to never hear such a level of hate in any Church around these parts, including Black churches in this area.  I could probably write a college thesis length paper about how wrong this man is for his religious followers and the black community.  All he does is pass the buck for al Black problems to white people.  Slavery did exist; so did segregation.  I have been alive for 25 years.  I have never encountered either of those two things.

Wright blames white men, and the government for the use of drugs in the black community.  He blames those same groups for black people having aids and HIV.  He blames white people for every problem that a black man ever had.  Does he have a point?  Only in that slavery did exist.  After that he is garbage.  He is a garbage human being, a garbage activist, and a garbage pastor.  You know what he did?  Potentially cost Barack Obama a chance to be the first black president of the United States.  White people did not do that, Jeremiah Wright did.  All he does is hurt his people by spewing this venom, against the USKKKA, as he calls it.  Accountability is the only way people can better themselves.  Bill Cosby gets blasted by some black leaders when he tells the truth.  He wants fathers to take care of their children, he wants young blacks to stop dressing like thugs, and he wants black people to get educated to better themselves.  Screw you Bill Cosby, says Jeremiah Wright; hate white people; that will solve all of your problems.

Obama's approval rating is getting lower day by day as more people see Jeremiah Wright's hatred.  It's sinking like a brick.  His wife has spewed similar venom in recent weeks, saying for the first time in her life she is proud to be an American because there is finally a viable black presidential candidate, and that America I just a mean cruel country.  She resent that she got into an Ivy League college.  She feels they were forced to let her in not on merit but on affirmative action standards.  She made over $1.3 million last year.  That's his bigot wife, who goes to listen to a bigot pastor.  I'm glad she is finally proud to be an American; she clearly had no opportunity for advancement.

So just to be straight here, Barack Obama had a healthy lead in the Democratic race, and the country is harboring a fairly sizeable anti-republican sentiment right now.  A betting man would have put their money on Obama a few weeks ago.  When Wright kills Obama's campaign and ruins his presidential run, was it the government or white men who had him fill his sermons with hate, bigotry, lack of accountability and ignorance?

If you want to watch this filth, here's a youtube video of the great Jeremiah Wright:

I Seriously Underestimated The Republicans

Once Barack Obama became a viable option to win the Democratic nomination I began wondering how the Republicans were going to go after him.  They had a trunk full of old crap that they were going to throw at Hillary Clinton but what exactly would be the ammo to blast Obama with?

The first thought I had was maybe they’d use their tried and true race baiting tactics but I quickly dismissed that as an option because, while it may work in smaller contests there is no way to successfully pull off, on a national level, the overt racism they used in 2006 against Harold Ford. So the question still remained as to how they would deal with Barack Obama?

For about a year now there have been small attacks on Obama coming from the conservative holy trinity (blogs, radio and Fox news): Obama won’t wear the flag pin; Obama won’t put his hand on his heart during the national anthem; Obama is a Muslim. It was a steady buzz from the right that never really caught on with the rest of the country. Then came Michelle Obama’s comments where she said that “for the first time in her adult life she was proud of this country” which set off a firestorm of outrage from The Right. But while the outrage was loud the incident seemed to blow over and Obama seemed no worse the wear for it.

Then came the Rev. Wright videos and it all fell into place…the Republican Party has their plan of attack and it is to frame the Obama's as angry, militant black folks who hate America and ya wanna know something scary? This plan of attack is going to work like a charm. The ammo is all there and even better they have video! The attack ads this fall are going to make the Swiftboat stuff pale in comparison. If they could make the public at large think a decorated war hero was an anti-American then making the black guy who attended the "racist church" for twenty years look anti-American will be a cakewalk.

Don’t believe me? Just take a look at the amateur vids that have already popped up and tell me that this won’t be a disaster for Obama once the professionals start putting these ads together.
