Like the Godfather of Soul said, "I FEEL GOOD"! 

 

I feel about 100% better than I did yesterday! I have a ton of energy and I feel like an actual human being instead of a tired, grumpy ogre.  I started taking DHEA again and I made myself go to bed a midnight last night.  I woke up feeling great this morning. I guess that's why I felt like dancing to some Michael Jackson this morning. I should have danced to this:

 

 

I know his hair must look a mess.
In commemoration of his being above ground for yet another day here's a spiffy duet James did with Luciano Pavarotti of all people:

Ok so in the past week or so, 3 major figures have died. Anyone see any connections here? I don't know.

I wanna say something is up, maybe not politically, but SOMETHING is up. They all died too close together.

This is late in coming but how about a tribute to soul brother #1? James Brown passed this month at 73 years old...

Well ..... the weather has been brutal here.  Lots of wind and heavy rain.  We have had power outages (which is why I haven't been around much) off and on since Christmas night.  And it is flickering right now .... so I won't be long here.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas.  Mine was fun.  The first Christmas I can say I actually enjoyed in the past 10+ years.  Dave & I cooked dinner for family and friends and all turned out well.  I'm glad the power waited to go out until dinner was over. 

Wow ..... the sun is peaking out .... first time in days.  Don't think it will be here long, but nice to see just the same.  I will try to come in later and catch up on my reading .... when I know it's a bit safer to hang out.  Right now is ify.

Until then I hope all is well and I'm thinking of you all and missing being able to spend some time here.  The weather is supposed to be much better tomorrow ..... so look out ..... I will be back.

One more thing.  I was saddened to hear of President Gearld Ford's death.  He was a sincere honest man with integrity plus.  I was always impressed by his gentle nature.  RIP.

Also the death of James Brown saddened me as well.  I thought he was great.  He could make me smile with his entertaining.  And was very influential to many of our rock/blues/soul musicians today.  Again, RIP.
