SAY WHAT?!
so i was reading funny quotes online when i came across one about a granny needing batteries for her ghetto blaster. now, im not sure if you all know what a ghetto blaster is, but if you recall 80's and 90's tv shows you will have seen people who were walking down the street with a boom box on their shoulder blaring music..yeah..thats a ghetto blaster. i bursted out laughing which of course made adam interested. he didnt know thats what ghetto blasters where called so i explained it and googled it so he would have a picture. good old google being the magnificent search engine it is gave me this as the second link im still laughing...

Exercising
So I'm in the process of loosing weight after a year of heck helped me gain weight. I'm actually heavier then I have ever been and it amuses me a bit: I thought I was overweight in highschool. Yet I walked 3 miles a day and listed weights every other day...

What a difference being a little bit older makes ;)

When I started this I decided to buy myself an Ipod shuffle, something that could with stand me doing something like dropping it on the ground, then kicking it, then having to spend 30 minutes finding the mp3 player.

Believe me, I've been known to do such things. I've learned to value things that are indestructable, heh.

I have started out by walking. Since I work the overnight shift at my job, I decided to do my walking towards the evening. I hope to get back to the point where I work out (with weights,) but right now I am taking baby steps. Almost literally, I don't have a very long stride ;) I'm going to ignore weight loss for awhile and just see what happens by eating right and exercising...

It should be fun.

Right?

Run From Refurbished?
Ok, so I'm wondering if I can trust a refurbished electronic item, namely an ipod.  20 GB, amazing price...I just don't know if I should trust a refurbished item.

Violence works!
Ichabod II is back!

This afternoon, Lauren revealed that TJ had gotten her broken iPod to come back to life by slamming it down on a hard surface a few times. Seemed to be an archaic way of fixing a computer device, but what did I have to lose? My iPod already wasn't working.

Lo and behold, after a few good smacks on the kitchen counter following the steps on this site, Ichabod II is no longer displaying his sad iPod face! Hooray! Thank you TJ and the person who stumbled upon this technology fix!

*hooks Ichabod II up to Macbook to begin updating*

iFeel: Photobucket excited

Nike, Apple Send iPod Nano to the Gym
Nike and Apple are making the iPod compatible with gym equipment.

The companies said Tuesday they are working with several gym equipment makers and the health clubs 24-Hour Fitness and Virgin Athletic Health Clubs to allow members to plug their iPod Nano into cardio equipment.

The Nanos would track workouts, set goals and upload the information to a Nike Web site.

The new technology is expected to hit more than 500 gyms worldwide this summer.
