Congressman Robert Wexler, (D-Fla.), agreed to co-sponsor of the measure Tuesday.
Congress voted 251-166 Wednesday to send the articles of impeachment to a House Judiciary Committee for review where it's expected to die.
But Kucinich said if that happens he will just introduce another resolution until lawmakers vote on the measure.
"Leadership wants to bury it, but this is one resolution that will be coming back from the dead," Kucinich told the Washington Post Wednesday. "Thirty days from now, if there is no action, I will be bringing the resolution up again, and I won't be the only one reading it. We'll come back and many of us will be reading this [on the House floor], and we'll come back with 60 articles, not 35."

Our campaign for accountability for the Bush administration is making legitimate progress. I am pleased to announce to you that the House Judiciary Committee has met my public call for Scott McClellan's immediate testimony with action: Today, Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers officially invited Mr. McClellan to testify under oath on Friday, June 20th at 10AM. After all of our hard work pushing for impeachment hearings for Vice President Cheney – the McClellan hearing provides our cause with a legitimate opportunity to showcase the crimes and violations of this Administration for the American people, the mainstream media, reluctant members of the Democratic party, and sensible Republicans. This hearing provides us our first genuine opportunity to enter the public consciousness and change the dynamics that have prevented true accountability for Bush and Cheney. Mr. McClellan was a major figure in the Valerie Plame/CIA scandal, as well as a leading propagandist for the Bush White House's deliberate attempts to hide the true costs of this war from the American public. As such, Mr. McClellan will testify under oath (and be subject to perjury charges should he lie) and be asked about the following matters: What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney , and key administration officials take in the effort to reveal the identity of covert CIA agent Valeria Plame Wilson – thus destroying her network and putting lives in jeopardy? What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and key administration officials take regarding the firing of U.S. Attorneys or political reasons? What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney, key administration officials take in conspiring to blatantly break U.S. and International laws prohibiting the use of torture? I call on Mr. McClellen to immediately accept this invitation and testify under oath as he previously agreed to while being interviewed on national television. During the hearing I will have roughly five short minutes to question Mr. McClellan and undercover the illegalities committed by this Administration – which is why it is critically important that every representative on the Judiciary Committee hears your voice. Please let them know that you demand answers to these questions. Nor should it stop there: Karl Rove has thumbed his nose to the Judiciary Committee's subpoena – joining Harriet Miers, Joshua Bolten and Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff David Addington as the only Administration officials in history to claim Congress has no power to even bring them before a committee to be questioned. I have called for Karl Rove to be held in inherent contempt and for the other renegade officials to appear as required by their subpoenas, or be forced to do so by the House Sergeant of Arms. What the Judiciary's request of McClellan proves is that if we stay vigilant – if we call loudly and repeatedly for accountability - that we become very difficult to ignore. Please stay tuned. I hope for more developments soon. With great respect, Congressman Robert Wexler From: www.democraticunderground.com
askjesse reports via Reuters: "The nonbinding, symbolic measure, passed in Brattleboro and Marlboro in a state known for taking liberal positions on national issues, instructs town police to "extradite them to other authorities that may reasonably contend to prosecute them."Maybe it's time for Vermont to secede from the US? Earlier this week, we learned the state is also considering lowering the drinking age to 18.
Vermont, home to maple syrup and picture-postcard views, is known for its liberal politics.
State lawmakers have passed nonbinding resolutions to end the war in Iraq and impeach Bush and Cheney, and several towns have also passed resolutions of impeachment. None of them have caught on in Washington."

Last night my husband observed that I am very animated and outgoing even with people do not particularly want to be friends with and that trait sometimes leads people to think I like them more than I do. He on the other hand is very good at discouraging relationships. So we started thinking about how/why I developed this trait and I actually managed to do it.
In my family of origin my major survival tactic took several forms. Don’t cause trouble (keep a low profile, be good) be charming and suck up to others (in order to avoid their wrath) and give the family a cheerleader peppy front that looked like forthrightness while hiding my real feelings from them.
It made me survive a crazy mother and narcissistic father and three grabbing siblings who all were trying to get by. And it made me a teacher’s pet so I got many strokes from school life. Plus I was bright and cute and let me go pretty far without much family support for the many dreams that children have.
And then I found that I continued to do it as an adult because it had worked so well. It is the trait that permitted me to marginally survive in the deep south and get jobs easily and become involved in community activities and essentially not live in a cave. Alone.
With my husband I did not do the “thing” I was taught. We were great non romantic friends long before we dated and so our exchanges were based on relentless honesty. Besides as a young woman I trusted men more than women ( one mom and two sicko sisters always wanting a chunk of you ya know? )
My recent self examination with a psychiatrist- the one with the toe fungus and poor eye contact has been really helpful. She is bright and quick and remembers things and doesn’t analyze till the just right moment and then very gently. She helped me identify how compliant a child I was when I grew up thinking I was so difficult, and how generous and nice I am when I thought I was selfish to want anything for myself. By now you are thinking and this woman did therapy? Hahahahaha yes one can be quite aware and blind in a personal spot and help others deal with it quite well. Besides I was mostly cognitive behavioral anyway.
So when a woman from Alabama called me and I groaned because I didn’t see any point in continuing a relationship with a nice but not much in common with her other than Judaism woman, Jim pointed out that I mislead people unconsciously into thinking I wanted to be with them more than I actually did and maybe it was unfair of me. Yes. And no w that I am conscious of it I need to take responsibility for it. Shit.
So I washed the wool a second time and will probably have to wash it one more time before it is useable. I am going to wait till spring before I clean the other two bales.
