Ice Hockey @ MindSay
It's been a pretty long time since I last wrote here. I've written my gradu now and I kind of have summer holiday. My computer at home doesn't like MindSay, so I can't write on it at home. But I am here at school now and I have just printed the gradu out. I don't think the printer liked it when I printed 77 pages, but it's done now. Tomorrow some one will read through it and mark the grammatical errors. I bet ther's lots of them.
I have been quite busy the last days, watching the icehockey world championships and The Eurovision Song Contest. Finland won!!!!!
Yay for Lordi!!! The ice hockey bronze was pretty good too.
But Sweden won the ice hockey gold.
I have also been on Jonas' 8th birthday party on Sunday and yesterday (Monday) I went to my sister's house again with mum to look after the kids. I played Monopoly with Jonas and lost.
Well, it's just a game, but I want to win over him next time.
On Thursday it's time for The Da Vinci Code. Hope it's good. The critics don't like it, but they can be wrong.
On Friday or Saturday I will go to the spring fair on the market square. Yay! I hope it is sunny and not rainy as it is today.
I don't have time now, so bye!
I am very bored at the moment and tired too.
I will go home soon. But I have to write on my gradu first, in a second when I have written this.
It's ice hockey and curling today. Hm, Finland vs Russia in the semifinal in ice hockey... I will probably be very nervous for the lions. I really hope they win. They have won all the games so far in the tournament, but one loss and they will only play for the bronze. Russia has lost before, I think, so the odds are better that Finland win. But, they should really make sure they don't get any stupid penalties, becuase it's dangerous if they have to play with 4 men and the Russians with 5 men. It's really going to be a thriller.
About the curling... Well, Finland is in the final, so either a silver or a gold. That gold sure is hard to get for the Finns. Wonder how it will go this time. I don't think I will see the curling final, because I don't really get that sport. It's kind of weird. And Tanja Poutiainen is third after the first round, but last time she was fourth after the first round, made a mistake and finished 6th. So I am not so confident about her getting a medal. I suppose Swden will get their 12th medal today. Grr!
When I get home I'm going to continue with Popcorn, who I am cross stitching. I have only cross stitched a little these last days on the bear, because I cross stitched a birthday card for another. But now I will work on Popcorn again.
I'd better go now.
Today it's cold, around -17.
But actually it didn't feel so cold when I walked here this morning. May be I had too much clothes on.
I need to work on my gradu, but when I am done I need to go and buy a present, to someone that has her birthday tomorrow...
I also need to pick up a book at the library. I had reserved it and now it's available. Finnisg grammar... What was I thinking?
Well, I need to check some things and it's said to be a good book that is easy to understand. So I'll give it a try.
I need to watch two ice hockey games today in the olympics. First there is the Finland vs Germany game. That should be a piece of cake for Finland. I guess 6-1 for Finland.
Then we have the Sweden vs Slovakia. Both teams want to lose in order to meet the "easy" Switzerland in the quarter finals. I just have to see what kind of game that will be! And for once I will be so happy if Sweden wins...
That will probably mean they are going to face Canada in the quarter final, a much more difficult team than Switzerland. But I suppose Sweden will lose the game.
I'd better work on the gradu now and then eat something before I go to the town.
