Ponder Ponder
Lmao, how awkward is it trying to play Leisuire Suit Larry when your nana and grandad are wandering around?
I've had to play the game with the fucking remote within reach - even so I could just flick onto a different channel during the naughty loading screens with the real-life models exposing their breasts. :D
I've completed it today - though I'm stuck at about 98%, now needing to proper hoarde secret tokens so I can buy the last two secrets, one from the Porn Fairy and one from Uncle Larry - but in effect, I need about 300 tokens and I only have around 35 - that means re-doing the majority of the story sequences with perfects. Wonderful. Button sequences and chat lines all over again. I doubt I'll be able to perfect some of the dodgy trampoline mini-games. Gahhh... If only I hadn't wasted so many of them.
I can mark the game down as BEATEN, but I'd rather have the shiny gold COMPLETE.
...Hmmm... To print a secret token checklist... To restart the game?
Dixie is wondering... I love it - so would it hurt to replay? It's only an 8-hour game, after all.
But saying that, I do have the mountain of un-played games.
Ian and Lisa came to nana's after they'd been to a car boot sale - they'd been selling off some of their stuff. Ian was pleased with himself, having sold a stack of wrestling magazines for £4.
They'd looked for a music box for me - and once more, to no avail - eBay is calling me... :/
Nana provided me with peanuts and Rolos and she sat and played Solitaire. When she was in the room, I couldn't really play Leisuire Suit Larry, so I gave Evil Dead another chance.
Note to self: ALWAYS USE YOUR GODDAMNED BRAIN WHEN PLAYING VIDEO GAMES.
If the FIRST level of Evil Dead has a stupid puzzle, imagine what the later ones will have.

FUCKING PRICK...
For the majority of the day, I've not felt the best. I've been slightly lapsed for a while now - but Shelly did manage to cheer me up slightly. We played Canis Canem Edit together and Guitar Hero 5.
Shelly came at about 3 in the afternoon because she was spending the night after coming with us to Ian's Halloween party.
Mam had bought mini bags of Haribo Starmix for the brats who knock on the door and she said I couldn't have any - but I snaffled some when she wasn't looking. :P
Although the party was pretty good - I had a laugh with Christine, talked with Laura about film-making, talked with Mark about games - had a laugh with Lisa and her friend in the kitchen - drank a few bottles of iron brew WKD and cuddled up with Shelly on the sofa for a while - it was dad who had to go and ruin it.
And he didn't just ruin the party for me - he ruined the whole of tonight. He's SUCH a fucking ARSEHOLE.
He's starting to make me hate him again. A while back I disliked mam for being bitchy all the time, but she's settled down, she's just a knob when it suits her - but dad's a total fucking prick all the time.
And this is tripled, maybe even quadrupled when he's drunk.
He ALWAYS, without fail - will upset me when I'm drunk - but apparently he upset Christine as well - he upset Shelly by being a general arsehole, touching her up - and not just her, Lisa and Amy as well - and I know that mam wasn't best pleased with him either.
Not only this - but when we got home - Shelly and I were cuddled up on the floor and duvet pile together - some chavs had set fire to a car outside, so we had mam mooching about being generally nosey - all these fire engines and police cars going by at two in the morning with their lights and sirens going - then this inflamed car decided to start randomly EXPLODING. Shelly and I were just like SERIOUSLY WTF.
After this drama, we all settled down and tried to get back to what we were doing - dad decides to blunder about naked on the landing, throwing up all over the carpet and the suitcase by the ottoman. So he's being noisy, as well as flashing everything to Shelly who was unfortunate enough to catch a glimpse when she was going to the toilet.
And as a result of him throwing up everywhere - he kept mam awake as well as us - he was pissing about mopping everywhere up with toilet roll for about 45 minutes - then there was the racket of mam getting the mop bucket out.
It was like the first time in ages I was in a reasonable mood, I wasn't TOO depressed - thus rendering my sex drive reasonably okay - and he just had to go and turn me RIGHT off. Vomit is one of my phobias, for a start - but I couldn't feel at all comfortable knowing he was falling about like a twat on the landing outside the door and mam was dragged away to clean up after him.
I felt really sorry for her actually - I'm just glad she didn't have work on Sunday and dad did - ha, the twat, that'll fucking teach him.

Magpie Curry!
Today didn't have a good start. We had Shelly ringing me up like 5 minutes before I was due to leave the house to go to nana's - asking if she was seeing me today. Now I know she leaves things till the last possible second, but that was just fucking plain ridiculous. I don't think I was proper snappy about it, but I was firm - so she got all pissy about it and hung up on me. The slag.
I took my PS2 to nana's and spent the majority of the day playing Guitar Hero and Canis Canem Edit while nana sat on her PC and played Mahjong - and annoyed me with silly questions about her Facebook.
Ian and Lisa stopped by for dinner too. We talked about our costumes that we're wearing to Ian's Halloween party next Saturday. It should be pretty epic - Lisa's invited Shelly too. She isn't sure about what she's coming as yet. I showed them a photo of the costume that came yesterday - and Ian showed me a photo of the character he's going to be. I'm still not fully clear on what Lisa is planning, so we'll just have to wait and see.
I finished off the whole medium career on Guitar Hero, got from the end of chapter 1 to the start of chapter 3 on Canis Canem Edit - and talked Ian into doing a few of the Emily & Florence penalty shoot-out mini-games on Little Britain: The Video Game. Together, we've sort of worked out how it's supposed to be done - so I reckon I could have a better chance at doing it myself now. Hmmm.
Today's moment of utter hilarity:
Today is mam and dad's wedding anniversary. I don't do anniversaries, but nana got me a card for them. Anniversaries should be reserved for the couple, I reckon. Like Valentine's Day.
Either way - nana asked me if they were going out tonight - and I responded:
"I dunno, if mam finishes late, she'd be in a right MAD PANIC HURRY."
Nana started pissing herself - she thought I'd said mam would be having a MAGPIE CURRY.
Oh really nana. :P

Happy Birthday To Me...
Anyway, today is the day Dixie turned 18.
I don't feel any different. I don't want to be 18.
For one, I don't like the number 8 - and for two, I don't like this immense burden of suddenly being an adult now on my head.
The only good thing is, now I can legally buy porn and sex toys. :)
Hello Ann Summers! :P
I still had college today, regardless of the pile of presents by the fireplace.
I didn't have time to open them when I woke up, so I only opened the cards that were there and put them on the mantlepiece. Mam had gone a bit mad with the decorartions - banners, balloons and foil tinselly things all over the place.
I should have opened the presents though - because for the entire day, I was left wondering what the box on top of my PS2 was.
When I came out of the house, ready to walk for my bus - this chav was walking by, and he was proper staring at me.
I didn't actually know why - until I realised he wasn't staring at me at all, he was staring at the banners and the balloons on the window behind me.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
College was pretty meh.
English was relativley boring, but thankfully - not too tormenting.
Media Studies was reasonable - another lesson on those horror films.Watching clips and taking notes. Very easily done. I love the old horror films too. Especially Nightmare On Elm Street. :D
Freddy Krueger - definatley my costume of choice this year for Ian's halloween party.
Today I had a beasty 3 hour break - Shelly walked down to the docks with me. We both bought sausage sandwiches and I got myself a bottle of water.
We went to the paved part down by the river and sat on the benches for a few hours, cuddling and talking. Shelly gave me lots of kisses too. We were in a really secluded part, shaded by trees and bushes, so nobody was there to bother us. It was freezing though - and despite Shelly's best efforts to keep me warm by cuddling me close to her - we only retreated back to college for the remaining 45 minutes of this beasty gap purely based on the fact it was far too bloody cold.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I got back, mam was in - and I finally got to know what was in the box.
An odd surprise - Shelly said it would be Guitar Hero 5 - but the box was WAY too small to have a guitar in it, and too big to be just the game - so I knew she was wrong. I had a feeling it might be something silly, like one of those daft novely keys - but it was far too heavy for that.
I opened it and I found a sexy DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME.
Fucking PHWOAR mate. :D
It looks fairly complex to set up, but I have a few ideas. I'll have a fiddle around with it - get some of our epic Saturday trio photos on there and show Ash and Shelly the next time they're round. It'll be a sweet addition to my desk - turned on for guests and when I need cheering up. :)
She'd also got me a mug with a cuddly troll inside it and a silver pentagram pendant. Sexah. :)
Paul had been and dropped off a card and the two Maximo games he'd ordered for me. Maximo and Maximo VS Army Of Zin, the sequel. And apparently, there's something else coming in the post for me. Oooh, I wonder. :)
And lastly, another jiffy bag with one of the games from Shelly - Ed, Edd 'N' Eddy: The Mis-Edventures. :)
Mam scorned my immaturity. Nah, she's just boring. I know how to have fun. :P
I wanted to go and play my new games, but mam fucking swayed me with a season of Desparate Housewives. Damn her. :)
While we watched this, I ate some instant macaroni cheese that smelt like sour milk and vomit, but tasted really good. :P
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ian and Lisa came later on the night - and they'd brought my card and their present actually did contain Guitar Hero 5 - proving Shelly's idea partially correct. :)
Mam then did let me set up my PS2 - and we played We Love Katamari - took it in turns doing some levels.
Mam thinks its a pointless game. Nah, she just doesn't recognise genius gameplay when she sees it. And she's also shit at it, so that probably contributes some too. :P
Depressed -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
REALLY, Why.
I expected today to be better than it was.
We had a good start, a REALLY shit middle then the rest perked up a little, but didn't return to how good the day had started.
Shelly proper wouldn't let me sleep. I hadn't had enough due to her proper pushing me out of bed - so I certainly didn't fucking appreciate being woken up at 7 in the fucking morning.
She woke me up like every fucking hour following this, so I was still half-asleep on the airbed when Ash arrived at 12. It was funny watching her climb over the airbed. Then they both pulled the duvet off me because they're knobs. :P
We started the day with Guitar Hero and snacks.
Ian was round, so he was in and out and I was up and down - we were talking about our usual stuff - games. He surveyed the PS2 games I've collected so far. Oddly enough, he approved of them - and even said that Herdy Gerdy is supposed to be a pretty good game. I'd never even heard of it, I just bought it because it was a) cheap and b) a platformer/adventure game.
Then of course, Shelly has to ruin stuff by ranting at me.
Mainly me, but she unneedly included Ash and made her cry.
Shelly was facing me, and I kept miming "Ash is fucking crying because of you" until she ended up turning around to comfort her.
She even kept bringing it up when we were eating, despite the amount of times I'd told her "NOT NOW."
And as she always fucking comes in the kicthen and hassles me when I'm preparing stuff or cleaning up - I was pissed at her enough, so I certainly didn't need her then.
Dad could see I was pissed off and he asked if I was alright, but I made out it was mainly because Shelly was proper in my fucking face - those exact words.
So he went in there and told her. Ha ha ha.
I hated Ash leaving knowing she was still a bit upset. I gave her a big hug, hoping she'd cheer herself up. She knows just as well as I do how much of a knob Shelly can be sometimes.
I only really despise her when she makes Ash cry. Seeing Ash cry makes me want to cry too, so...
Saying that, I don't suppose me doing the slit-wrists hand motions towards her when Shelly was out of the room helped matters.
If Shelly hadn't stayed longer, I would have done.
But even then, she made me upset.
She tried making me feel better, but it ended up making me feel worse.
And despite the fact I didn't want to, and she knew I didn't want to - I felt fucking obliged to do things to her. I didn't do anything but rub her - but when she said "Is that all?" after 10 minutes - she'd done me for less - she made me feel worthless and like a failure so I just cried. With no hesitation or anything.
I didn't do it to deliberatley make her feel shit, but I hope it did.
She consoled me a little bit before she left, but today was just a prime example of how she can ruin a day that I expected to be decent.
