To say at the least, I am SUPERMOTHERGODDAMNFUCKINGASS hungry. There is nothing to eat at Sheila's house, like ever  :|

WELL, tomorrow we are gonna go and see Final Destination 3D, with mom and possibly Harold and Sheila. I can't wait for September. So many good things. School, welding, my tri-belly button piercing. Yeaaaaabooiiiii.

So update!

Me and Tom ended REALLY badly. It turns out him and Franny the Tranny had started their thing before we broke up. So that made me ultra mad and I let him know that, bla bla bla. So, lately things have been so damn boring because I've been on 'restriction'. Why you ask? WELL. We (Marg, Cam & Zach) kinda might have driven to like Gardiner, and slept in the bed of his truck. :) It was such a great night, it was totally worth getting in trouble. So other than that, I've been doing nothing. Zach has been stopping by and stuff, so it hasn't been that bad. Tomorrow is TPG, then icecream and brownies at my house :D

Today should be filled with adventures.

I woke up late, I'm starving and my left eye is wicked bloodshot. It's fluorescent grey out, mostly cloudy, 57 degrees out, feels like 57, with 84% humidity. I'm still smiling though. I'm thinking of wearing my 'The Grates' shirt that I made. It's rainbow paint-smeared, very appropriate for today. Fred and Lily, my fish died yesterday. Mom says I can get a dwarf hampster though, so thats something to look forwad to. Well it's 12:02 now, meeting Camden at 1, so maybe I should go get ready....

broken wings

i recieved ten and one half hours of sleep last night.

and yet in my first class of the day (which was at 10

instead of 8) i still managed to almost fall asleep. and

spanish I is not boring by any means. i don't know

what's wrong with me these days. i'm just so... yawn

 

but life barrels on like a race car.

 

i'm dropping the Buccaneer next semester. i'm doing

a full 18 hours again and i'd prefer my school hours

spent at school, not at home on my laptop. yes, i've

enjoyed my time on the Buc, and just today i turned

in another roaring article on recycling around town.

but i'm just not satisfied with the class and frankly, i

have enough to worry about after school, let alone

a measely paper to worry about.

 

you know what mindsay needs, other than Jesus,

Not Hungry??? How cool is that?

I realized tonight that one of the benefits of my recent cleanse is the fact that I have not been crazy voraciously hungry since working out.  Normally I am ready to eat the fridge clean as a whistle after a week of regular work outs.... I am eating pretty much whatever I want... Instead of giving up good tasting food I have eaten a bit more rounded diet incorporating more fruits and vegetables (in place of things like chips) while cutting out most caffeine (AKA Mountain dew and most chocolate).  Also thanks to the cleanse I am able to control my portions much better and am not insanely craving those items.  Yay me! 

 

 

PS... I did 30 minutes on the treadmill at a speed of 1.8 and an incline of 12.  By amping up the incline and slowing down I was able to make the workout more effective while lowering my heart rate somewhat.  My heart rate was shooting up to the 150's the minute I got going really good (I think that's why the reclining cycle monitor said I was in very poor condition even though it thought I wasn't working very hard.  It was wrong... I thought it was very hard work. I know I'm out of shape! Smileydont be mean to me!  I'm working on it you stinky machine.) 

 

I also did 20 minutes on the elliptical (it's really growing on me... I did the first 15 minutes regular and the last 5 I went backwards!!! Woof!  Holy crap.  Now that was a workout!

 

I wrapped it up by using this upper body torso machine that had me pedaling (?) with my arms for 10 minutes on a level 5...  Not bad at all.  We'll see what I say about all this tomorrow when any soreness kicks in.  LOL

 

Any advice on what heart rate I should be shooting for?  The monitors on the machines say to shoot for a lower heart rate for weight loss and mid-higher for Cardio but they don't say anything about a rate over 155 to 160 or more.  I don't want to give myself a heart attack here but I still want to get really fit and I feel like that requires that I challenge myself.

 

I am 5 foot tall.  I weigh 193 Lbs and am 34 years old.  All the monitors ask my age and weight but not my height and I think that should be considered a factor!  A woman 6 feet tall and that weight isn't in nearly as bad of shape as me!
