soo i'm going to Humboldt State University. that's my goal.
the application doesn't become available to me until October first, and it has to be mailed in my November first.

is that even enough time?? i don't know if i need letters of recommendation or what.
...what if i don't get in.

while I'm feeling good, i might as well add that last night we had a little meeting with the NORML officers and i'm so excited for it this year! i'm gonna be secretary and that's going to help me be a lot more involved. Meetings are kinda late, though, but last night Eric, the guy who was president last year, is also a psyc major, and is also a sophomore, (and was there when I spoke at the "silence = violence" rally in April) gave me a ride home from Terra, the new president's place last night after the meeting, so maybe he can after these other meetings? i dunno; I'm deffinately excited for this year, though and i hope i can be as active as I want to be despite the 16 units I'm taking and the fact that i'm still trying to find a job here in Arcata. i guess we'll just see...

My stuff is all packed and it's only 5:43pm. we're not leaving for another six hours and 15 minutes. Dinner will be in about an hour, and if my ride called me up and said, "Let's go" when I was gone, I'd say alright and we'd go. I haven't seen Nam and I don't think I'm going to. I called him earlier to see how he's doing, and he said he was busy with school work and wouldn't have a chance to work on it at all tomorrow cuz he's leaving at 8:30am. I said, "Well, I'm leaving at midnight" and he just got frustrated and was like, "I'm just going to go to the bathroom, I'm really frustrated over this project," but something tells me the real reason he was getting frustrated is because he knows I want to see him and he doesn't want to see me. He's probably going to have dinner at about 7:00pm like his family usually does. I'm gonna call him around 8:00 to see if maybe he wants to go to Barnes & Noble or something like that. I'll see what Sin City comics they have if any, we'll grab a coffee and the Starbucks, and that will be that. That's all I want, but I won't get it. I can't wait to get back to HSU. i'm excited.
