So yeserday there was a fire in karori almost on our street so i decided to take some pictures. Im pretty sure everyone got out safe and the house does'nt look too badly damaged, you can see the burning when you walk past on the roof. The annoying thing for the owners is that they had just painted it and stuff.
i just got done watching White noise and it's so sad!!!! i thought that it was really trippy because of those three guys that were going everywhere that "John" did, and now his son is left without a dad.... OOH and the thing that they do with all those computers and TV screens is REAL!!!!!!!! there are really people who sit around all day and watch static and listen to radios static-ey noises to try and contact the dead......*shivers* i think it's just creepy....
and then there's boogeyman, which i didn't get to see all the way through... but what little of it i did see was really strange. it's like this guy, and he's a shadow, and there's a kid that makes him real to everyone else. i think it was one of his action figures from his childhood or something.... but he ended up strapping himself to a chair, and sitting n front of his closet to wait for the stupid thing in the house where it ws created... and his girlfriend almost died, but he saved her...
but i think that my fave one was hostage. that's the one with Bruce Willis and he's a cop and his family is taken hostage by these really bad guys that want a dvd case with an encrypted file of some kind on a cd inside, and there's three guys that are holding the family inside this house hostage and one of them is really psychotic. he ends upburning to death in the middle of the house that he locked himself into in the first place. oh, and he kills his two parteners in crime, he throws one of them off the balcony of the house and shoots the other one. we've been renting a lot of movies this week, wow..... any ways, or those of you who've seen these, tell me what you think of them...
