Ok, this has been going on since I believe February. Realmtrekker enticed me with the knowledge of this decadent delight (Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake Ice Cream) with promises of near orgasmic pleasures upon tasting this sinful treat. Only thing is...it's nowhere to be found, at least not anywhere that I've looked.
Anyhow, I think the Ice Cream Gods are teasing me now. This afternoon, while cleaning out the side pocket of my purse, I came across one of those coupons that you get at the grocery. You know the ones that get printed out along with your grocery receipt. Anyway, I just happened to look at this particular coupon. It was for Godiva Ice Cream. Okay, I'm thinking wow, if only I could find the holy grail of ice cream. I now have a $1.00 off coupon. Then, just a few minutes ago, I was checking my email. What do I find? An email from, you guessed it, Godiva Boutiques with all these gifts of chocolate, etc. Okay, I'm thinking....all this teasing is making me crave that damn ice cream again. So, I found an email address and I just emailed the company asking them if this particular flavor has been discontinued. Hope I finally get some answers to this mystery that has followed me for about four months now.
