Hitting @ MindSay
I don't think I blogged about what happened at the beginning of the school year with my girl and another lil second grader. So I am going to give a brief background blurp.
My kids ride the bus morning and afternoon. They are one of the few children that don't have to change out buses at the highschool in the mornings or afternoons either. There are two other lil boys on our road that also ride the bus and the kids get along great with them. Both of them are older by a year or two. Coltin usually gets along with everyone. Simply because he is my lil loner. DeLaney on the other hand is my social drama queen. It hurts her feelings like you stomped on her foot if you don'tl like her. Very interesting few years getting her to understand that sometimes you just can't get along with everyone and everyone doesn't have to like you or you them.
Okay a lil boy C, rides the bus about 3 times a week in the afternoon. He is another second grader like DeLaney. He is in a different class room. For the first few months both DeLaney and Coltin were comign home going C is doing this to us, and C made this lil girl or this lil boy cry. C hit me. C won't stop making fun of me. And we did the standard, ignore him, tell the bus drive, and blah blah blah. Well finally when DeLaney said C hit her a second time, I turned around and said, "I will talk to the bus driver." I did and the bus driver blamed it on both kids. And I said well here is the deal, I dont' know C. I know my two kids. My kids are typical hell raisers. But when they come home saying the same things over and over again. They aren't lying. So do something about C. A week went by with no incident. Then it started up again. We said do the whole ignore thing and blah blah blah. Well when Coltin came home and said C smacked him and turned around and said he smacked C back. I got irriate. I turned and looked at DeLaney and said that boy hits you one more time, you lay his lil fucking flat and you don't let him get up. Mommy will take care of the school and bus driver if you get in trouble. Then I called the Bus director which is also the Vic Principal of the school that my kids go too. The bus driver the next afternoon pulled into the drive and was pist because I dared to call the bus director and raised some hell over C. I said well I am sure my kids are being onery, I never said they weren't, but when lil C here is being a lil asswipe I am not going to have my kdis put up with it and as a mother I am not giong to put up with it either. Then he tried blaming everythign on DeLaney. And even C out right said he bothers her just as much as she bothers him. So I told the bus driver keep them seperated and you won't have me on your bus in the afternoons when the problems seem to be happening.
Jump about a month later, no incident. Then boom! The bus driver pulls up into my drive again. Coltin comes off the bus laughing and goes into the house. DeLaney comes off with brused knuckles and a bump on her forhead and I hear a kids laughing and one kid crying and screaming. Bus driver tells me DeLaney laid C flat and sat on him. Which explained the brused knuckles and the kids screaming. She bloodied C's nose. Bus driver threatened to have DeLaney suspended. I said hold on and I called the Bus Director and while on the phone with him, we got to the bottom of it. C was bothering Coltin. Coltin smacked him. C left Coltin alone. C moved on to the next kid. Kid started crying. C moved on to DeLaney. DeLaney ignored him. C started pushing her head into the seat in front of her. She told him to stop and tried to tell the bus driver. Bus driver yelled at her for hollaring up towards the front. C then pushed her head harder and she knocked into the frame bar on the back of the seat. Pist my lil girl off. She turned around and jacked C and bloodied his nose and then she jumped on him. Took him by the back pack and slung him down to the walk way and sat on his chest.
She didn't get suspended but C did get detiontion and got kicked off the bus. Bus director told bus driver to stop playing favorites and start listening to the kids. That he had report after report from parents about C and that I was one of them and the bus driver should have taken care of it before some lil girl beat the hell out of C.
Now jump to yesterday why the Principal couldn't make it to our IEP meeting. One of DeLaney's classmates who she played soccer against beat the ever loving crap out of C at PE time right before school was let go. The only reason we know who was in the office is because Mr. W opened the door to let us know he wouldn't be there and there was C sitting in one chair with ice pack on one eye, toliet tissue up both nostrals, and his arm being held by the lil girl. Lil girl was looking mutinus and she had an ice pack on her hand!
We asked DeLaney what happened after we were done with the IEP meeting:D C was doing the same shit to all the kids in PE class. Staying away from DeLaney of course:D And he did something to one of the other lil boys that all the lil girls like. Not the cutest boy but one of the nicest and this lil girl didn't like it. She told C to stop. C got up into her face and pushed. She got up and told him to stop. Teacher was out of hte gym and the kids were waiting for her. C then punched the lil girl in the tummy. She went down again. She got up and took a step towards see and grabbed him by his arm and his hair and slung him down to the ground and stepped on his shoulder. Thus why his arm was being held by her. She let him up and he took a swing at her. DeLaney said it was funny and he missed. This lil girl punched him in the nose, the bloody nose and then swang around and punched him in the eye! The black nose!
So see boys and girls.........you bully someone make sure that A they aren't a lil girl who gets pissy B they aren't anyone's special friend or C A lil girl who gets pissy that you picked on her special friend
Us women on mindsay.......we know how vicious and mean lil girls can be.......because we become the mean bad ass don't mess with us women.
Girls Rule the Ass Whoppings! And the Boys Bleed all Over the Floor!
So, as some people have already gathered by now, the last few days haven't been really good, on the grand scheme of things. (end ultimate understatement) They ain't any better by all means. I'm just trying [sorta unsuccessfully] to swallow it, because if I don't, I know I'll be swallowing something much more fatal.
Last night was really bad.
I hadn't slept in five days or so (I didn't bother to count), and I still had the sleeping tablets that were prescribed to me last time I went on a non-sleeping binge. (not by choice, of course). I didn't want to take them because I had secretly decided what I was going to do if I did take them.
I knew I had to sleep though, 'cause maybe it'd make me feel better. I decided last night at about midnight I would, and that i'd just have to have the willpower to take two and walk away.
I'd taken about ten before Nicky realised I was in the bathroom and rather literally wrestled the sleeping tablets off me.
That got me mad. Really mad. I started hitting him. Quite hard apparently. Then I turned around and punched the bathroom window, completely shattering it all. (like fuck we have money to waste on replacing windows)
Then spent what felt like an eternity curled up on the bathroom floor (in quite a lot of glass and blood- I tore my hand up pretty bad) sobbing hysterically.
I guess I must have passed out at some point because the next thing I know it's twelve hours later and I'm in bed.
Today I feel really shit- but I suppose that can probably be expected after intaking a dozen sleeping tablets... generally feel no better anyway, because I just don't.
But I'm still here.
The Phillies have been on top offensivly all year. Atlanta has one of the worst offensive teams so far this year, yet the Braves are ahead of the Philllies in the NL east.
The reason is plain and simple, it is a rule that every team should follow...Pitching and Defense win Championships not offense.
I know from experience. I played in Boston during the early 80's into the 90's and that was the way the teams were put together, no wonder why it took 87 years to win a world series!
The Phillies lost last night to good pitching, 2 great defensive plays by Chipper Jones, and the Phillies inability to hit with men in scoring position...a problem they have had for 3 years now.
