Highlights @ MindSay

I'm so happy! I finnaly made noodles that tasted good! haha. I got my hair dyed again today. haha i have pink highlights....  

 

 

Best parts of 2006:

• Finally going to England! And doing with all of my own money/work/time/organization
• Seeing Paul McCartney in concert for the second time, with Danny
• Moving out of my parents house and into the dorm
• Making a ton of new friends
• Learning how to live in a city; figuring out how to use public transportation; learning how to live on my own
• Graduating high school and leaving Ellsworth behind!

 

Things to come in 2007:

• Europe part two: Switzerland and Italy
• Starting my second year of college!
• Doing a semester abroad in Italy
• Finally buying a digital camera
• (Maybe) Getting a new boyfriend
• Getting a job and earning actual to spend, hopefully on excursions abroad
• Declaring a major! (English? Journalism? Who knows!)

 

      I am exhausted from this past week.  It was such a crazy busy week. Between haging out with my carlow gals and doing homework out my ass I had no time for anything else...and you know what? I love it! Our room has become the hot new hangout and everyone comes up to chill with Erica and I. It's pretty sweet!
      I saw the Phantom of The Opera (2004 movie) this week. I had never seen Phantom before, but when I was young...probably around 6 years old, my Aunt Jeanne and I used to listen to it all the time. I totally forgot about it until I started watching the movies. I guess I forgot because after my aunt died,  I tried to block out all of my memories of her until I was ready to look back on them...she died of cancer when I was 10ish...she was my favorite person in the world...we'd go shopping, put on makeup, watch musicals, sing and dance, visit pap's grave in the summer and sing his favorite songs...oh I really miss her. I wish she would have been here to help me and to see me grow up. My dad tells me that I look alot like her when I smile...
      So, I'm totally obsessed with Phantom now...and I think that the Phantom and the Vicomte are the shit. They're hot and they have killer vocals...Lyssa and Erica make fun of me for drooling over them, BUT THEY DO IT, TOO!
      I'm at home for the weekend...my brother asked me to come home and my mom needed me to work...and I have a cold that I'd like to get rid of as soon as I can. I've only been sick for one day, but that is long enough. I get kinda cranky when I'm sick and I think that everyone is sick of me haha. Alyssa was going to come home with me until I got sick...I feel bad because I really was looking forward to fun fun.

      Oh yeah!  I put highlights in my hair....they didn't look like a bad color at first, but the next day they turned red haha.....but they still look good! I gotta admit, I was scared to do anything to my hair because I've never done anything bad to it before except have it straightened and stuff for prom...but it's alright. It's not falling out yet!
      I think I'm just a doofus right now, but I can't find the Olympics opening ceremony..they said NBC at 8:00, but that's deff not the olympics lol....whatever. Oh yeah, I'm really excited for spring break! I don't know what I'm gonna do over break, but hey...I'm looking forward to it like mad.

Here goes -- with a couple that weren't asked  for.

1.  I don't like my brother-in-law.
2.  My socks rarely match.  I would rather sleep than look for socks.
3.  I like cold weather.
4.  I hate what Alzheimer's has done to my maternal grandmother.
5.  I miss the smell of the Corbett's Cottages of White Lake, North Carolina.
6.  I'm not as evangelical as E thinks I am. 
7.  I still read Highlights at the doctor's office.
8.  I am late for almost everything.
9.  I am fiscally irresponsible.
10.  I have broken my arm three times, my fingers and toes several times each, and my collar bone.  They all still hurt. 
11.  The supernatural and spirit world freaks me out.
12.  I am itching to get back to seminary full-time. I am not looking forward to tax season.
