Hendrick @ MindSay
After getting out of bed around 10 am this morning. I got cleaned up and dressed. Then went over to the Walden super flea. After looking around for a little bit there, I ended up purchasing a carved skull. It's about as big as golf ball and made out of a piece of solid hematite. Cool! It's currently sitting on my night stand next to my bed with other such skulls that I have. There's a total of 10 on the stand right now.
I left there and returned home. Where I was asked by my mother to take her to eastern hills mall. My father's watch stopped and it needed a new battery. I took her to the mall, and we went to the Dakota watch company, that little watch shop in the middle of the mall, where after about 15 mins or so. They replaced the watch battery, water tested it, and we left there.
Upon returning home. I returned to my room, where I turned on today's NASCAR sprint cup race. The life lock 400 and Michigan international speedway. There's where it happened, today after 76 races, Dale Earnhardt Jr returned to victory lane, driving the mountain dew / amp energy number eighty eight to victory lane! This is his first points paying win with his new Hendrick Motorsports team and end a drought of 2 years without a win.
Congratulations to the National guard , amp energy , Hendrick Motorsports, and most of all ... Dale Jr! I hope this is the first of many victory's to come this season.
During the race, I also ate my dinner, which was steak and a baked potato. Of course both are bet with sour cream. Yum.
After the race was over. I turned on my PS2 and played some command & conqur. Then, and what I am watching right now. Is the father's day marothon on spike tv of csi. One of my all time favor shows.
Other things done with watching TV include, cleaning my jewelry. My unfinished ruby pendant is clean as is my stainless necklace. Fun? I love cleaning my jewelry. lmao
So, what else is on my mind? I return to work tomorrow morning, and let's not even go with how much of a joke and insult working there really has become to me. I rather be going to the dentist, and you all know how much fun that place is.
I just hope tomorrow is a nice calm and relaxed day. With nothing out of the ordinary going on, and that it goes by quick.
~ Getting back into this blogging thing
I was wrong about my previous post about where will Dale, Jr. go. I wrote that Hendrick Racing owned the Black No. 3 car but I was wrong. RCR owns that. DW wrote in his article that he thinks Junior will go to Hendrick but if I am a betting man I will give odds for RCR or his own, JR Racing.
I have just read a post that Junior may go ahead and sign with RCR and will anounce that today at 10:00. I called that I thought he would drive that No. 3 car. He will drive the Black No. 3 car next NASCAR season under the RCR Team. Go Junior!
On Monday morning around 530 am we packed the car and headed for Mooresville, NC. We drove all day and arrived in the town around 630 that night. Taking time for rest stop's on the way down there. Upon arriving we stayed at the Super 8 motel, and then went to eat dinner at the cracker barrel across the street. Then it was back to the room, to watch TV until we finally went to sleep.
Tuesday, we got up and out of the room at 9 am. Were we went to breakfast at Denny's. After eating we went to our first race shop, JR. Motorsports. (owned by Dale Earnhardt, Jr.) Home of the Busch series #88. Were I bought 2 hats, 2 decals, 2 1:64 #88 Navy diecast cars, and a magnet for the fridge. I also took a ton of pictures. After leaving there, we went to RYR (Robert Yates racing) home of the #38 & #88 nextel cars. I took more pictures, and my mother bought a cup. We also got some cheap pop from the vending machine for only 50 cents. Then it was off to Penske racing. Home of cars #2 #12 nextel cars . There , i again took more pictures. My mother bought a stuffed dog there. Then we left and went to DEI (Dale Earnhardt Inc.) home of the #1 #8 #15 nextel cars and #11 Busch car. There I bought a pack of 3 foundation bracelets, and a tee shirt. Then it was off to, Hendrick Motorsports. Home of nextel cars #5 #24 #48. There I bought 2 foundation bracelets and took a ton of pictures. The next stop was Roush racing. Home of nextel cup teams #6 #16 #17 # #26 #99. There I only took pictures. After that stop, it was back toward the motel. Stopping at the NC Motorsports hall of fame, and RWI (owned by rusty Wallace). Again, only taking pictures there. Then it was out to memory lane, another museum. Were my mother bought a set of 4 dale Jr plastic cups. Then it was a stop for dinner, at pizza hut. Then finally back to the motel around 7 PM.
Wednesday, we checked out of the motel around 830 and went out for breakfast. Again, at Denny's. Then it was south go Gibbs racing. Home of nextel cup teams #20 #18. Were I bought a stuffed bear, and a couple beanie / skull knit caps. I got my friend one of the hats, since I don't think he'd ever go down there. Then it was back in the car and the drive for home.
We arrived back at home at 1120 PM. We unpacked and sent to bed for the night.
Thursday, Yup, finally getting to today. I put all the stuff I bought were I want it. Then we went to Lancaster small animal hospital, were we pick up our kitten from boarding, and brought him home. Needless to say, he's happy to be back. Then my father and myself mowed our insanely long front lawn. I am very surprised the push mower made it though the 5 - 6 inch high grass. Afterward, my mother ordered dinner, of which I just finished. It was chicken fingers.
Plans for the rest of tonight? To relax and try to get rid of the headache that I currently have right now. I think NY roads are the worst of any that we drove on the entire trip. At least I got out of this house and tow for a few days. It was nice to get away.
~ So, any of you all got questions ?
Oh so yeah...Jimmie definately kicked serious butt! It thrills me to no end! Especially with all of the controversy and such! We kicked it...and passed post race tech inspection. Woo. Brian was up there leading too! Brought home a 7th place finish! I think it's the first time he's finished a cup plate race...he alwaysmanaged to be caught up in the big one! Jeff ran well, team performed well, just wrong place, wrong time things. Kyle was a bumbling idiot, as always. Especially with what he said about Jimmie after the race. Yeesh.
So I was definately the only person in english yesterday. Like, seriously. The only one. Talentino wasn't even there. It was me & Ms. Olmstead...our student teacher. We talked the whole hour...it was fun. When better than working anyhow.
Currently in Espanol. We are watching a movie about Don Quijote. Senora Hache told us about this all yesterday...when she was here. Today she is not. So I did all my homework and now this...woo!
Turned in my Searchmont money today.Should be fun...yay for senior trips...
Oh! So Dave told us about camp! Becky, Chach, and me are gonna be counselors. We even get to be cabin parents in our own cabin...the three of us! Ahhh...it'll be freakin' awesome!
Later Days...
So, yesterday (thursday) my mother and myself did end up going out the fair. After dropping my father off at the lancaster moose, around 1 pm. While out at the fair, I found the Hendrick motorsport's bone marrow bracelet ,or wristband. That says on it "life is a team sport". So, I'll proudly wear that. We also ate dinner out there. Yum. We ended up leaving around 6:45 . due to rain showers, and storms rolling in.
~ I had fun , lol
So, today (saturday) again, there really isn't anything planned. I have to find out my work scheadule for next week. Yuck, work. Also, the NASCAR busch series race will be on today, BUD pole quifiying for the NASCAR nextel cup race, and the Buffalo BILLS preseason football game will be on.
~ great day for my favorite sports, on TV
