[Blog #112] --- The Wheelchair!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, I know now how to post video to my blog.

Seeing as how YouTube is STILL refusing to allow our film trailer to stay on the site for longer than 5 minutes - due to the music copyright issue - I've decided to post THE WHEELCHAIR instead. :)

Ah, the days of December - when our friendship was only just starting.
Ah, nostalgia.

Sweet Multi-Tasking

I didn't spend very long at nana's today - as dad came with me to have a lunch too.
It was pork today - and I had three yorky puds. Was pretty nice. Then I had a custard slice afterwards.
I gave both nana and grandad a hug and said I loved them. Nana said it back, grandad laughed and said I was being soppy.

When I got back home, I decided I was going to finally listen to some of the stuff in my downloads folder.
I set them all running and I played on Final Fantasy VII while I listened to them.

I only need to listen to a song for the first 1:30 - and by then, I'll know if I like it or not.
Of the first batch of 50 songs - 47 were added to my iTunes.
Two of them had shitty announcers and one of them was shite.

Between my battles on FF7, I'd skip to the next song and either move the file to my music folder, or delete it if I didn't like it or it had an announcer.
After I'd listened to so many - I'd turn off FF7 for 10 minutes and add the songs to my iTunes library.

I really should have listened to some of the songs sooner though.
3 Inches Of Blood are FUCKING EPIC.

At first, I thought they sounded like Iron Maiden - until the vocalist came in. He's like KING DIAMOND - but without the falsetto octave.
My favourite song by them so far is Crazy Nights.

I also quite liked Angel Witch, Anvil, Bullet Boys and Celtic Frost.
Along with the new bands - I'd downloaded some songs for bands I already liked.

I didn't realise how much bloody Apocalyptica I'd downloaded either. Tons of it.
Thankfully, it's all good. :)
The cello covers of Metallica songs sound really weird though.

And the best find in the folder had to be KEELHAULED!
An Alestorm song from their 2nd album - it instantly became my favourite Alestorm song after I'd heard it.
It even has a music video! :D

My progress on Final Fantasy VII was decent too.
I've gotten Yuffie up to level 96, Cid up to level 92 - I've got a second Master Magic materia and I've mastered around 20 or so materia crystals.
It surprised me how quickly I made progress. :)

Blog #63

Finally, I've done something right!

In effect, I've done a few things right...

But either way - from the beginning.

Nana woke me up - I got ready, sorted out my backpack, as I do.

Mam's bought Cheerios for me, saying I have to start eating breakfast. I don't eat much now. At home I'd only eat one meal at day - and that's what I ate at college, but I wouldn't be able to do that here, so I just eat what nana makes me. I'm resisting the delights of the FRIDGE OF RANDOMNESS.

I got the college bus, and because I don't start till 10:45, I sat around for nearly two hours.

I managed to fill that time with SOLITAIRE. I don't know how I'm able to sit and play that for great lengths of time... But I can only play it on Lisa - I can't play Solitaire on my PC for very long.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Media Studies, I showed Sarah the 2nd draft of our film trailer.

She says it's a lot better - asked me if I was pleased with it.

I shrugged - I'm not pleased with anything I do; but I will admit it's far better than the first draft.

It seems now I've finished both the webpage and the trailer.

Now I just need to assemble my research, re-write my statement of intention (because I fucking lost it, because I'm a knob!) and write the evaluations. Then there's my coursework.

At least I know I'm going into my exam with 50% of the course completed.

When Sarah looked through the mark scheme with me - she was comparing my work in the A grade band.

I was confused at why - I myself was looking at the B grade band...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lewis walked into town with me - he'd barely been standing at the bus stop with me for 2 minutes when the 492 turned up - so I said bye to him and got on it.

I love buses that stop like 2 metres away from the doorstep of the residence you reside in currently. :)

Nana made me chicken goujons and spaghetti hoops for lunch - rather delictable.

According to my Wii play time record - I've played 7 hours of World Tour today.

I'm really sick of it now - I'm at the stage where I've lost a bit of my concentration and I miss proper stupid notes on songs I can 100%.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I want to write now.

I had an idea too - something similar to Regenbogen Streifen.

...I seem to be able to write negative things best. I can't write anything else - and that's if I can write at all.

I've downloaded some Tool.

Tool rank on my top bands for writing inspiration.

I feel I shall write that list. :)

Dixie's top 10 inspirational bands:

1. Rammstein

2. Blackmore's Night

3. King Diamond

4. Nightwish

5. Fairyland

6. Tool

7. Children Of Bodom

8. Slipknot

9. Nirvana

10. Skillet

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I can be arsed finalising the trailer - I need to make a slight edit to the credit block at the end - I shall post it to YouTube.

There shall be happy shiny link here when that occurs.

[Blog #18] --- Alone --- [Sunday] - From A to B.

From A to B.

For a Sunday, I shall say this one was tolerable.

I had to go to my nana's even earlier than usual - QUARTER TO FUCKING TEN.

Really. Why.

Either way, I scoffed some Ryvita and processed cheese slices for breakfast when I got there - I'd basically got up, flung on all the clothes I wore yesterday (even my underwear...), packed up my GameCube and went out.

This cheese was also only SIX PERCENT (6%!!!!!) cheese, so I don't suppose you could really call it cheese.

I reverted back to my old ways (and I'm annoyed about it now), deleted an old save and started a game again. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle this time - I deleted my old save of 147/180 emblems - played it for a few hours and I've gotten around 30, so... Not TOO bad.

I played through the Claire A scenario on Resident Evil 2 on the Arrange setting.

I aimed to beat my old score that I got for Leon A - which was under 2 hours with 2 saves.

Claire's story IS considerably harder - so I finished with a time of 2 hours 40 minutes, but how many saves?

Not one...

Not two...

Not three...

NOT ANY!

Number of saves: 00

Wah ha ha ha!

I started on the Claire B scenario after I'd eaten Sunday lunch.

I'm not sure how long I've spent on it - but I had to save it before mam came to take me home.

Mint timing actually - saved it and turned it off about 5 minutes before she turned up.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Came home - got into my bed and laid there for fucking ages doing fuck all.

I eventually turned on some King Diamond and had a read through my Heavy Metal Thunder book.

Best fucking book I've ever bought that. Truly.

The inner sleeve says £14.99, but I only paid £5 for it.

I'm going to download a lot of these bands featured in here.

I loved going through it for the first time - poking the albums covers and going:

"Yeah, got that one. Oooh, that one. OH MY GOD KING DIAMOND?! Yeah, got that. Hee hee, Slayer. ...OH MY WHAT?! RAMMSTEIN! FUCKING YEAH! THIS BOOK IS THE BEST EVER!"

And with iTunes - the sexy feature of listening to 30 second samples in the store - I can test out a song before I download it. :)

I'm going to start with The Handsome Beasts.

I had a listen to a few of the songs, they're pretty good - but the cover art is fucking legend - check this bitch out:

It's fucking hilarious. :D

Got to respect him. Rofl, if I had the courage to pose naked in a pigsty on an album cover, I'd be the greatest person in the world.

(Rofl, the site I found the image on voted it on the top 24 worst album covers - but HMT vote it as one of the best. I go with the latter's opinion.)
