It's 99 degrees today, and will be until Thursday. We will have a high on the weekend of 85 to 95 degrees, depending on which channel you agree with. I put $200 in the bank today, the proceeds of two checks, but most of it will go to the phone company tomorrow. Easy come, easy go.
I will have Gary's dogs with me for all of this week, in exchange I will get a good fridge and stove. What he is going to do for a dogsitter when I move, I don't know. They will be down in the basement during the heat of the day, from ll to 8, and then be outside where they can enjoy the kennel.
Gosh, it is always something. I went up to see my girlfriend this weekend, and we got along great, but she had to spend all of Sunday afternoon with Vacation Bible School, which as children's minister, is part of her job. I left early and came back to town and watched Failure to Launch at the $2 movie for the second time. (It was the only movie starting when I got there.) It was just good to get out of the heat in the afternoon. My window air unit helps somewhat, but not as good as central air. I slept all day today.
