The Fountain
Well, I saw The Fountain on Tuesday. I must say I was very excited for this movie. I liked Darren Aronofsky's previous two films Reqiuem for a Dream and Pi. I was not disappointed. The movie has been many years in the making and those years were not ill spent. I believe they did the casting great. The special effects were amazing. And the theme of accepting death is very well represented. If you can I would highly suggest seeing this movie.

I've also been watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire quite often, since its on TV all the time. I must say I like all the Harry Potter movies, but this one is my favorite. I haven't read the books, so I always don't know much of what to expect from the movies, but I like that the movies are becoming darker in tone. I am excited for the fifth Harry Potter to come out next year.

Went to go see HP- Goblet of Fire Wednesday. It was a good movie, but since I was comparing it to the book the whole time, I couldn't follow the story. I need to go back again and actually watch it.

Anyway, I bought Phantom Brave Tuesday. Good game, but it's complicated if you don't know what you're doing. I plan to be playing it for the next few hours straight after I eat something and check up on the other sites I frequent.

I know there was something else I wanted to say, but I just can't remember it right now... I'll blog later.

Harry Potter
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was AWESOME.  I loved it, it was for sure the best HP movie so far.  Then again, the 4th is my favorite book.  Of course lots of details were left out- Blast Ended Skrewts (sp?), Ludo Bagman, everything about the house elves (no big loss), Percy turing into an asshole, pretty much everything that happened in the maze, Rita Skeeter being an amangius (sp again?)...just to name a few.  But I suppose not everything could be inculded, the movie would've been super long, heck it was pretty dang long as it was. There was even an intermission at our theater. I really enjoyed it though, the only part I was really bothered by was the begining, the first 200 pages were all crammed into the first 20 minutes of the movie.  That was kind of dissapointing as the Quiddich World Cup was such a great part of the book.  And I felt somethings were left quite unexplained and I would have been confused if I hadn't read the book.  But over all, it was really great, and the acting was supurb.  I think everyone should see it, and as always I encourage you to read the book(s) if you have not.

And I got to see Kate tonight. :)  I can't ever buy my snacks from anyone else.

Woohoo for Harry Potter tonight, and John Mayer Trio tomorrow!

We went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on opening night. I think I really enjoyed it...but it's hard to say, considering that we had tickets to the 12:20am show. The actual film didn't start until 12:50...and it was two and a half hours long. J had had the good sense to take a quick cat nap earlier in the evening...but...well...when have I ever had good sense? The poor man had to practically carry me to the car when the movie ended.

I guess I'll hafta see it again (on DVD).

OK So.... Thursday. Piano/flute lessons. Massive headache.

Friday. School out early. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was great, Mom has hope that Daniel Radcliffe really can act! She said sometimes she isn't sure. Not enough on Rita Skeeter. Bought pants, Megan and I spent the whole day in book stores. Wrote Christmas lists!

Saturday. Sat here, vacuumed, mopped, babysat, cleaned room. Grandma's coming Monday. Amber may help me babysit, we'll have to see.

Ciao-short but sweet.
