Love And Friendship

LOVE is like the wild rose-briar;

Friendship like the holly-tree.

The holly is dark when the rose-briar blooms,

But which will bloom most constantly?

 

The wild rose-briar is sweet in spring,

 Its summer blossoms scent the air;

Yet wait till winter comes again,

And who will call the wild-briar fair?

 

Then, scorn the silly rose-wreath now,

And deck thee with holly's sheen,

That, when December blights thy brow,

Myclette and I had an awesome time yesterday.  I took her shopping and she found some sexy Diva-duds for herself.  I too found somethings for the playful Paganista.  We had dinner at her favorite spot, Chili's (which wasn't too bad a place to munch).

I still detest shopping but it is far more bearable with a friend to try on clothes and laugh at whats too small and rejoice about what's to large with.  Oh the rejoicing we did about what was too large.  She of course had to find some happening ear-rings, as she adores the jewelry. We talked forever at dinner about everything from her pre-wife/mommy days to my current single girl disaster dates, there was so much laughter at the latter that I feared we would be expelled from the restaurant:P.

We later went for coffee (I don't drink it and Myclette changed her mind and got mineral which I got her hooked on last year :D) We chatted yet again forever and then the cafe was closing so off to Environgirl's! 

We listened to countless CDs and gabbed, gabbed, gabbed! Myclette read runes for me and the outlook was positive (YAY for me!)

And So Ends Diva Birthday Funday!!!!! What a great, great day!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIVA, I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

p.s. My favorite purchase of the day was a t-shirt which read Strawberry Crush with a strawberry on the front..yep the crush continues, and I look super-foxy in the shirt!!
