Yesterday five tornadoes touched down all within a few miles from my town. Pretty exciting. The hail came down so fast it looked like it was snowing! I don't have any pictures to show you because I spent the storm indoors in my basement apartment. It seems like nature doesn't want me to move just yet. Just about everytime I want to get my things out, it's been raining or my brother is having me help watch after his kids. So here I am today chilling out with my nephews. I checked the national news today and it seems weird that Wisconsin Rapids (a town just south of Stevens Point) made headlines. They got the largest amount of hail -- about golf ball and football sized, big enough to do some major damage to windows and cars. I'm not used to seeing hometown news coverage on the national news shows. It gives me that surreal kind of "it's a small world" feeling, know what I mean?
