Alas, not much traffic was directed to the WeeWerks GmbH Blog thang for we know what ye do and we do so through the miracle of the Internet. Oh yeah, a big howdy goes out to all the fine folks in the Tempe, Arizona area - SALUTE!!!

Ew, that all makes the finest company on the Internet seem like it is a Big Brother sort of organization, which we are not... well, maybe we are with the employees here at the home office for if we did not do so those employees would spend their days goofing off on the Internet and if management discovered this fact, the goof-off employees would have their salaries dramatically reduced...

Which gives me an idea that I will give to the world free of charge. Being that any respectable company would have its own network with all computers running through a server and this server has the capability to record all Internet activity in a log file, all a company needs to do is to charge their employees per page load of nonbusiness pages - let's say like a dollar per page - and this fee can go straight to the bottom line to improve the numbers that the stockholders demand. Take this knowledge now, my children, and go ye now in peace...

This Groundhog Day will mark my two year anniversary at Mindsay. This Groundhog Day will mark another occasion.

 

This Groundhog Day will mark the date that the revolution officially kicked off in Victoria, TX. We(Victoria Ron Paul meetup group) will be holding a rally. We will have a very special guest. I'll give you one guess who it will be.

 

The Man himself will be attending our rally. If you will be anywhere near Victoria, TX on Feb. 2nd then make your way to the Victoria Community Center by 1:30pm. You can have the great pleasure of meeting the next President of the United States of America.

Did anyone else here forget about this thing?

So while the boy and I were watching the local weather, trying to figure out if the snow or ice was coming and when, and whether or not schools would be delayed this morning, our local news channel cut to the coverage of Punxsutawney Phil's prognostication.  All I could think is that poor animal looked like he was shivering and quite unhappy, being held up for all those flashing cameras.  Av asked me what they were doing, and I explained it was Groundhog Day, and that that little animal is going to tell us if we are going to have more winter - not that we've had that much before the past couple weeks.  He thought this was quite silly, it is, and was quite dissapointed that he had to go to school today.  I just felt sorry for poor little Phil.

So Happy Groundhog Day everybody - or as a friend said at work today "six more weeks of global warming."
