Going Home @ MindSay

Going home today! YESSS!

Well, I get to go home today, after this training seminar that is, 6 more hours of boring-ness and then a four hour drive and I'll be back home, I can hardly wait.

So yeah, anyway, life is sometimes very complicated. Life is random and just doesn't always make sence, or follow a set path. Guess we have to just take what we get and deal with it.

I love someone, and hate that same person. I want to sceam but at the same time I want to cry. Love and hate are not opposites, in my opinion. They are actually the same thing. The opposite to either love or hate is indifference, I think because if you love or hate someone, it shows some level of caring. Indifference means you don't care anymore.

Anyway, time heals all, been here, done that, and I will do it again, and survive.

Usually, when I go on trips I always bring my camera, but I forgot to this time. The drive here was beautiful, I am not kidding, it was the perfect day for a trip, sunny but not too hot. Wish I had brough my camera.

This morning to, I watched the sun rise, I am in Toronto, Canada at the moment(this is not where I live though), and watching the sun break on the horizon was truly breathtaking. There is some low cloud cover and it just was as beautiful as any sunset I have ever seen, and with Toronto as its backdrop, man, I wish I had my camera!

Today is another day
Do you ever get blind sided by something that you've done wrong and took you completely by surprise?
Yeah well it really sucks.  Today was the final day of one of my classes and I found out that I was about to be failed and I don't mean that lightly either.  Well I won't go into details but all I can say is that I got docked major points and I'm so glad I'm done with that class.  Was my punishment fair? Yes, but I'm kicking myself over the fact that it was.  So now I'm just going to make brownies and listen to good music to make me feel better.  It always works.
I'm reminded of something that a friend of mine said once as we were parting ways: "Through out your life your going to go through some shit, but you'll make it through and you'll be ok."  Why this has stuck in my head I don't know but maybe her faith in me was all that I needed.  It's not very often that someone puts their sincere faith in you like that and when they do, it's enlightening.
In other news Heroes is on tonight and I'm soooo excited!! Only two more episodes left and I'm on the edge of my seat.
Speaking of things coming to an end, this is my last week of school at CSU Chico.  I'm going to miss all of my friends up here but I can't wait to get back home. For at least a little while I'll be worry free: No school, no work, no sorority, no bills to pay, aahhh it almost sounds as good as a trip to Hawaii, almost.  It's going to be nice to mooch off of my parents again.  Then I'll probably start working at the Q aka Quiznos subs, which was my old job before I left. And I'll get to visit with all of my old friends again.  Yey, walmart here we come!
Ohh and I'm also thinking about gettin a digital camera, and I'm excited about that!
Soo what else did I have to say.....
Goodnite and goodbye!

Just a quick update

You know, I had my hands on the wrong keys while typing the title, so it originally was "Just a qyucj yodate".  I find that really amusing, for some reason.  =P

But anywho.

Guitar Hero rules my life now.  And it shall be so until further notice.  Just thought you all should know that.  :p

Falling in line behind that are (in no particular order) :

Final Fantasy XII (ps2)

Big Brain Academy (ds)

Ico (ps2)

Final Fantasy III (ds)

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

But mostly Guitar Hero.  ;)

I play left-handed.  Which is kinda weird, because I'm right-handed.  But if you think about it, it makes a certain amount of sense.  First of all, I don't play the guitar in real life, so "this is how a guitar should be played" doesn't occur naturally for me.  Also, being a gamer for most of my life, usually the joystick/control pad is on the left-hand side of the controller, and the other buttons are on the right-hand side.  And those of you that have played Guitar Hero know that there's five fret buttons at the top and one strum bar at the bottom.  So in my gamer mind, that translates to, "Hey, these five buttons should be on the right-hand side, and this one strum bar should be on my left-hand side."  So there you go.  I am actually trying to train myself to be somewhat ambidextrous, though, since my wrists start to hurt after a while.

I'm thinking of renting Red Steel.  Yes, everything I've heard from anybody that knows anything about that game says that it sucks.  But I wanna rent it anyway.  And if it does suck, what have I lost, right?  It's worth a try, I think.  And while I'm at it, anybody got any other recommendations for the Wii?  Me and my brother got one for Christmas (well, a couple weeks after Christmas, but you get the point), and I'm just wondering if anybody else has one and can suggest some cool games for it.  (We have Twilight Princess, of course.)

Well, I must be off.  I'm headed home for the Mardi Gras weekend.  (And if I can get my camera working again, I'll do another photo-blog like I did last year. :D )

See y'all later!!  =D

Friday the 13th....in October!!!

While that may not seem like a big deal to some of you, I personally think it makes this particular Friday the 13th extra badass, so to speak.  I'm not exceptionally superstitious, I just like observing things like that.  :p

Anyways, Happy Friday the 13th, everybody!  Today I will be making another journey down south to my wonderful home.  But first I have to make a stop in Opelousas.  I have a doctor's appointment.  Don't get all worried about me, I just need Dr. Jones to write me some more Concerta prescriptions.  =)  (It's a controlled substance, so the law prohibits him from simply calling it in at the pharmacy here.)

Well, that's about all I have to say at the moment.  Au revoir for now, my dear Mindsayers!!  =D

Until next time,

"I need to lose some pants."

Random quote of the day, courtesy of yours truly.  :p

Well, I'm headed out to begin the two-and-a-half hour drive home for the weekend.  Got stuff to take care of and whatnot.  And fear not, the entry I promised will come soon.  In fact, I may start on it as soon as I get home.  Maybe.  lol

But for now, I leave you with this lovely quote I found on a friend's Facebook profile:

"Music is love in search of a word."

Pretty, yes?  =)

And with that, I bid you a temporary farewell.  Don't forget to check out the Doodles Mcgee episode I posted a couple days ago, in case you missed it!!  I don't post these things just for my health, you know.  ;)

Until next time,
