So... updates, updates.... I had a blank blog just sitting here saved from back in mid-May, so I would assume that that blog was to talk about our new pets. My mom was really missing Jasper after he got squashed, so she had been looking around for shelters to get a new cat or a dog. After that was unsuccessful (the only shelter we could find was a good hour away by car) she turned to the paper. Somewhere around the 17th she found an ad for standard poodle puppies.
We ended up getting a black one, he was about 4 months at the time. His name is Barney, short for Bernard. I went with her to go get him. They were being bred by this little old lady, so they were largely unsocialized and very. VERY. stinky. AND NOT HOUSETRAINED. HE IS STILL NOT HOUSETRAINED. HE CANNOT COMPREHEND THAT THE HOUSE IS NOT A TOILET.
And poodles are supposed to be smart...
Anyway, when he got him, of course the news went straight to the forum. Taylor was uber excited, rofl. XD I asked them for name ideas, because none that we came up with we liked. Taylor insisted on Morgan Freeman (ROFLLL), and thus that became his forum name. I told my mom and sister and they looked at me strange and shot it down immediately. XD In the end it was my mom's decision to name him Barney. I hate it, but he is HER dog. I don't like him much anyway. He's stinky and slobbery and messy. And pees on the carpet. Ick. The next day after we got Barney, my mom saw another ad, this time for Ragdoll kittens. She has wanted one of THOSE for like, forever, ever since Jasper died. So of course she jumped on the ad. He was $400. FOUR. HUNDRED. DOLLARS. For a fuzzy little animal weighing a little over a pound. How fucking ridiculous is that? But my mom insisted on it, and my brother and sister really wanted him too. The three of us (my sister, brother and I) split most of it, and my mom paid for the rest and the cat littler/food. I didn't want to spend that much on an animal when we could get a perfectly good cat at some shelter for a quarter of that amount, but they eventually guilted me into it. Taylor helped their points too. :/ She freaked over the cat, rofl. XDD She kept telling me to get it, and I eventually just gave in and forked over my money. ;__;
I wanted to go when they went to get the cat, but my mom flat our refused to let me go and took my sister with her. That was sooooo annoying. I was the one that didn't want to get it, at least let me know that my money will be spent getting one that I want! I asked for one with a black nose and blue eyes, if they had one. BECAUSE THOSE ARE SO ADORABLE EEEE 8DD
Apparently all the ones with that coloring were scratchy and clingy. So the one they got is only one color, and one akin to what natural sugar looks like: Almost cream colored, but slightly brown. Kinda like khaki, but lighter. He's cute and all.
Of course, I mentioned this to the forum. Mima got all excited, and when I asked them all for name ideas, she came up with Fubacu. ROFL. Apparently it's short for "fuzzy ball of cute," and he is henceforth known as Fubacu on the forum.
Again, that was shot down immediately, no surprise there. My sister went on this cat names website to look for names, and discovered "Edward Scissorpaws." HOW FUCKING EPIC IS THAT. XDDD I demanded that be his name, but everyone refused. ;_; We were so bad at coming up with names that my mom just ended up calling him "Squirt," and it stuck. I don't mind it, and it does fit him, but I don't like it much.
He's cute and cuddly and soft, but he's such a BITCH when he's hyper. He attacks everything that moves, tries to demolish my skin (he likes to bite and scratch your hands when he's hyper) and my laptop cords, and gets into everything. DX I like him better than the dog, though, at least he has some good points. XDD
.....ROFLLLLLLL. I just looked up at the tags bar. One of the suggested tags are "fucking gay mom." HOW FUCKING HILARIOUS IS THAT? XDDDDD *is dying with laughter* And where did I mention anything being gay?
Umm... what else did I have to say....
School is a bitch... I have a big trig test I'm NOT READY FOR AT ALL tomorrow morning, and a paper due Thursday for Humanities that I have no idea at all how to even begin researching, which I was supposed to have started about a month ago. And it's 1/3 of my grade. Yeah.............. not good.
At least school will be out in two weeks. Stupid summer classes. Never doing that again. You have to cover and learn the same amount of material as a 15 week class in 7.5 weeks. NEVER AGAIN. TOO MUCH PRESSURE AND WORK FOR THE SUMMER.
I need a new job though. Since I won't have any classes for the Summer II term, I lose my work-study job then. So I have two weeks to come up with a new job. There's the Burger King a few miles away, but I dunno if I want to work there... but I guess it's better than nothing. A lot of my friends have been having trouble getting jobs. Some didn't get any at all. I'm really worried. My car is out of gas and I'm losing my paycheck. DX
...Oh yeah, I got my car since the last time I posted. It was my uncle's, but he got a new one and said I could have his old one.
I spent the entire day after I got it cleaning it. It STANK SO BAD. UGH. Like old fast food and cigarettes. Now it smells like Febreze and Lysol, rofl. XD It's an old rusted out blue '97 Chevrolet Venture. IT COSTS SO MUCH FOR GAS, THE STUPID THING. I don't need a freaking minivan, I'm the only one in it 99% of the time. I just filled it up halfway about two weeks ago, and I only drive about a mile and a half to school and back maybe 6 times a week. AND IT'S ALMOST EMPTY AGAIN. Stupid thing. :P Gas is too expensive and I don't have a good enough paycheck for it.
But it's a car, and it runs (albeit probably not for very long, it has over 250,000 miles on it), so that's good enough for me, I guess. It still needs a name, though. I wonder what I should name it...
Uwoh, it's like almost 1:00 am. DX I need to study some and go to bed, I have class at 9:30. Further updates soon, hopefully? I know I had more to say, but I really don't remember what it was at the moment. XD;;

I dreamed that I had taken a day off from work (not a dream today, woo hoo!) In my dream, I was telling people about our house. I had driven to Safeway where Candie, Sarah, and Micah were doing their shopping. I was very excited and said to Candie 'ask me what I bought, ask me what I bought!' When I told her she scoffed 'there is nothing nice on the west side.'
Feelings hurt, I left the store and went back to my car. I was very upset to find my driver said window had been shattered. I started looking for a place to get it fixed, knowing that since it was Sunday, my time was very limited.
I was then downtown at a 7-11, eating a 'bbq beef' sandwich I had purchased there. The sandwich was filled with large chunks of onion rings. I see Gregory's mother and point out to her the gas sign at the convenience store. It was very high - $6 for a gallon of unleaded. She nods knowingly and tells me 'that's because they stopped putting meat in their sandwiches.'
I start walking around downtown and I'm suddenly with Chrissie and Amanda from work, and Drea. We are walking, and I'm still keeping my eye out for a car repair shop. We come across a street magician who cajoles us to take part in his trick. He keeps me and Amanda in the back (of the street) while telling the audience he'll make two girls (something strange which has slipped my mind.) Amanda and I are talking quietly about how the audience will never fall for this, he never showed us to them in the first place.
After the magician calls us out to the stage, I realize there's something in my pocket now. I reach in and pull out a tiny piece of original art. The drawing is that of a peneagle, and I start to chat up the magician about how amazing this is, all the while thinking of the show Magic's Biggest Secrets Revealed. He gives me a wink and a smile and we go on our way, with me saying to Drea "I'm gonna make out with a magician!"
It's now me and Drea in her house, and I peer into her tiny kitchen to see the time reads 5:47, and I know it's too late to get my car repaired. So I settle into her spare bedroom for some reading. After finishing the book, I go into her bedroom, thinking she's asleep, and I'll just make my goodbyes.
She is awake, but lying in her bed and asks me how I'm doing. I reply that I'm fine, but I know that if I sit down, all my energy will drain and I'll be done.
Corwyn then comes into her room and he is assembling some sort of model action figure. "Is it done Mom," he keeps asking her and she tells him it's lots before it's done. She takes the figure from him and starts messing with the legs, revealing bullets in our good guy.
Drea and I start talking about how Gregory doesn't hang out with us. She then likens him to Usher, saying "now we've answered his (Usher's) questions!!"
I start to go, but then Drea swings her leg up to me, and I can see it's clad in her shiny knee high boots. "Dominate my flesh!!" she demands of me and then I woke up.
According to Dreammoods, a shattered window means the following: To see shattered and broken windows, represents your distorted view and outlook on life. It is also indicates a state of vulnerability.
And magic in a dream means: To perform or dream of magic, suggests that you need to look at things from a different view or approach problems from a new angle in order to successfully move forward. Alternatively, magic symbolizes creativity and wonder. Perhaps someone or something has caused you to be in awe. The dream may also be a metaphor that you are "up to some trick".
Both are kinda saying the same thing - that my outlook is a little skewed right now.

These former SS officers who served in the Belzec death camp were brought to trial in Munich, during August 1963, indicted with murdering Jews:
The Belzec trial in Munich lasted only three days from 18 January – 21 January 1963 Only Josef Oberhauser was found guilty and sentenced to four and a half years imprisonment, the following SS men were acquitted:

The crimes of genocide committed in the three Aktion Reinhard Camps, Belzec, Sobibor and Treblinka only began to come to light during the euthanasia trials in 1948.
Heinrich Unverhau who had been in charge of the locomotive depot at Belzec, where the clothes was sorted and stored and cutting out the yellow stars, from the clothes of the murdered Jews, was the first to be arrested and charged.
This was in connection with the killing of patients at Grafeneck euthanasia centre, it was during the course of the trial that information began to emerge about the Aktion Reinhard death camps.
Unverhau, after a lengthy hearing into the euthanasia allegations, was acquitted of all charges and released. His references to the death camps were held to be inadmissible and were disregarded by the court.
Even then, the wheels of justice were slow to turn, it was only in 1959 that the West German government instigated a wide-ranging investigation into the Aktion Reinhard death camps.
Belzec was the first Aktion Reinhard death camp was first to be identified as a major killing centre in Poland. At the conclusion of these enquiries speedily the Belzec personnel were arrested and interrogated. They were arraigned at the Munich Assizes charged with several counts of murdering several hundred thousand Jews in Belzec.

Although the defendants had made admissions, the defence put forward a mixture of defensive lies, self exoneration to the actual killing, and not without some foundation, that they were in fear of their very lives and their families lives, should they not carry out the express orders of the Belzec camp commandants Wirth and Hering.
The defendants attempted to lessen their own involvement in the genocide, by suggesting that the “actions of destruction” could not have been carried out without the assistance of the Jews.
They had suggested to the court that the Jews carried out the whole operation – removed the victims from the transports, cut the hair of the females, removed their bodies from the gas chambers, extracted gold teeth and buried the bodies in the pits, which they had previously prepared.
Fortunately, on this point the court was not persuaded. To convict these men of the Belzec crimes there had to be direct evidence identifying them as the perpetrators of destruction. Whilst there was circumstantial evidence or loose admissions by the accused, the main requirements the witnesses to events implicating individual defendants was absent.
Rudolf Reder also known as Roman Robak who had travelled from Toronto, Canada was unable to positively identify any of the defendants.
To rebut the general defence proffered collectively by the defendants, the prosecution relied on one principle – that the defendants were guilty of collective participation, even though they had not acted as instigators.
In principle, the one in charge who gives the orders, in this case Wirth or Hering, is solely responsible, the one who carries out these orders must also share the responsibility if he knows the task in hand is unlawful. The jury disagreed. At the end of January the trial collapsed and all the defendants with the exception of Oberhauser, were acquitted. The defence of “acting out of fear for life” was accepted by the court
Immediately on leaving the court as free men, Dubois, Fuchs, Juhrs, Unverhau and Zierke, were re-arrested and held in custody on similar charges relating to the Sobibor death camp. The case against Josef Oberhauser was adjourned, and a new trial was ordered. In January 1965 Oberhauser again appeared before the Munich Assizes, but this time the prosecution were better prepared.
Immediately Oberhauser claimed to the court that he had already been sentenced to a term of imprisonment for the Belzec crimes at the Magdeburg court in 1948, where a Soviet Military Tribunal sentenced him to a term of fifteen years imprisonment.
When the Munich court investigated Oberhauser’s claims, it was established that he had been tried and sentenced for crimes relating to euthanasia and not the Belzec crimes, as these were not known at the time. The trial continued.

First I went and picked up some rhino ramps the 12000 series. the 8000 was too narrow for my 225 and 255 18 inch rims.
I ordered the filter and the replacement hoses from autohauze or somethign in arizona. tbey sent in the parts from san fran so it wasn't as long as I was expecting.
the job was a pain.
FIrst you have to lift the car up(i used ramps).
I opened my fuel cap to release some pressure.
put cardboard on the cement and slide under.
removed the shield, then remove the vacuum hose, and the clamps.
slowly twist the hoses off. the one towards the back will pop with a little gas coming. Although I had my safety glasses on, i got some gas in my eye. :(
about 10 ounces came out. it had some black stuff in it. I think it was a good idea to remove the filter although bmw thinks it is lifetime... whatever.
after i cut the new hose to size, i put the new filter in place and bolted everything up.
When I started the car up, it sounded horriblef or about 3 minutes as there is air in the line so the engine stumbled abit. not a big deal...
what to do with the fuel collected?
I used it in my lawn mower. :) take some coffee filter and stuff it into the fuel filler hole in your lawn mower, then pure the gas into that filter. it will remove the black stuff. and your mower is fine. I used the mower afterwords to mow the lawn. it actually sounded like it like the gas better than what was in there before... so maybe I'll start running the lawn mower on 91 octane :)
Car seems fine. maybe it's in my head but it seems atad more responsive now on the throttle. :) This filter does contain a fuel regulator as well. so who knows... it's a simple enough diy I recommend if you got 90000 miles on your car to change it out.
