A Story by Mio:
Asleep in my bed, I was. *Ahem* Okay. No Yoda. Let me start over:
I am the lightest sleeper...ever. On many occasions people have told me that. In fact, people say that it's rather annoying how fast I wake up. For example, I can be dead asleep when the phone rings, yet it will only ring twice and I've already ran to the other room and answered it.... So back to the main part of my story. I was asleep in my bed when I hear somebody whisper, "Amy." Naturally, I open my eyes, because someone saying my name wakes me up everytime. But this time, a dark figure was extending their hand right toward my face!
"OHMAGOSH!" Right after I breathed/yelled it, I realized it was my mom trying to wake me up. Now, usually she has to wake up my sisters and trying to wake them up is like trying to convince a bear to stop hibernating. So she didn't expect me to open my eyes and freak out like that.... You could hear her snickering for minutes...
That all happened at about 6:15. At approximately 6:45 we embarked on a journey I like to call, 'Running at the Park'. I have realized that my mom is more spry than I figured. I pooped out after a while but she kept going... 30 clicks of the minute hand later, we were back in the car heading home.
(I feel like I'm keeping a log. Er... yeah.) At 0800, I left the house to go pick some weeds out of a dear friends garden. Ms. Fay is her name, and she's getting pretty old. She can't hear very well and she can't really get around so she asked me to weed her garden every now and then. It was pretty fun and hey, I earned five buckaroonies.
How do I end such a wonderful story as this? Well, I suppose I'll end by saying an overused, outdated phrase.
Peace, Love, and Hair Grease.
