Well, last night, as I was taking the last few turns on the Bowser's Gnarly Party board, whilst responding to some posts on my forum - I got the craving to start a new game of Pokémon Diamond.
So whilst I was waiting for the slow-as-shit computers to take their turns, I opened up Pokésav and Serebii.net - and started making a team of six hacked monsters that I wanted to be my main team throughout the game.
I gave them high-level moves and high levels of IV and EV points too. Of course, I made them look legit, giving them the right natures, correct areas and the right abilities.
I hacked the following:
Espeon - "Emily" - level 8
Jolteon - "Spike" - level 8
Grimer - "Sticky" - level 10
Cyndaquil - "Volvic" - level 8
Piplup - level 5 - shiny
And my favourite ownage monster:
Rattftratz! - Level 1 Rattata with a focus sash, quick attack and endeavor! :)
I also altered my ID number, so it was the same one as my LeafGreen game - 24606.
I love that number, and I think it suits me well. :)
Heh, I've just noticed, it starts with the first numbers of my birthdate too.
I've been playing it for about six hours now.
I've even gone to the trouble of hacking some Mew, Palkia, Turtwig, Piplup and Chimchar for the greedy bastards on the GTS.
It won't let me trade my Palkia though - which is typical, because I caught 7 of them at level 99.
Humph. Nothing ever changes.
Either way, Adam came over today - and we spent most of the day sat about, eating chocolate and drinking Cherry Coke.
Then we turned on Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, and played a few 2P VS matches - then I was asked to play with my Chao.
I don't see what's so interesting about watching someone play with Chao... But.
Yeah, I did a bit of that, and completed a few more missions - but I'm getting to the point of the game now where I proper can't do anything else - the missions I have left to do are sodding ridiculous.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, I'm back on Mario Party 4 at the moment.
I've done about 10 turns of Shy Guy's Jungle Jam - responding to forum posts whilst I wait for the computers.
I'm getting towards the end of the board now, as I'm writing this as Luigi, Daisy and Mario are messing about with mega mushrooms, running over star spots because they're retard CPUs on Normal difficulty. :)
This time, I'm playing through as Waluigi.
I've done it with Peach, Daisy and Wario, so I'm onto Waluigi next.
Then I'll do DK, so I've done the bottom row of characters. :)
As we all know, the Mario Party music gets so annoying and repetitive after a while - so I've made myself a playlist.
OMFG... I JUST WON 100 COINS IN THE LOTTERY SHOP!!!
Yeah, the coin star is TOTALLY in the bag. :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But yes, as I was saying, the playlist. :)
I feel like making a big list, so I'll list the songs that are on it.

OMFG, LUIGI JUST STOLE MY STAR - THE LITTLE SHIT!
NOW I'M SECOND!
Not that it matters, of course... I'm going to win the mini-game star and the coin star, because Normal level CPUs are total retards.
Now this is multi-tasking at its finest. :)
I'm currently playing Mario Party 4, whilst listening to music.
I'm also on my PC.
For the past hour, and for the future several hours - I'm also going to be writing this blog, responding to forum posts, reading fan fiction, organising music, downloading stuff and maybe even doing a bit of writing and/or planning.
ROFL!
A MINI GAME STARTED WITHOUT ME NOTICING, AND I DIDN'T REALISE TILL 10 SECONDS IN - AND I STILL BEAT ALL THREE OF THEM!
Normal CPU retards! :D
Lmao, I have 218 coins, and it's the last turn. Eee. :)
Good news: My mom somehow got a Wii!
Bad news: We only have Wii Sports for it.
Good news: I saw Brawl in Target the other day.
Bad news: I am a poor starving college student.
Good news: I figured out how to play Gamecube games on the Wii.
Bad news: I can't find and GC controllers.
Good news: I have a Game Boy Color, the '89 version of Mario Brothers and a Jellyfish CD to rock out to.

Today is Saturday.
Saturday the first of March.
...MARCH.
"Now, quick march!"
(Indeed, a quote from Fire of Glory, chapter 48, that Emily will indeed, instantly recognise.)
Every Saturday, nearly - I spend the day with my friend Adam.
I've known him for about nine years now.
We met in primary school, I think it was in about year two.
I was discussing the greatest video game ever - Final Fantasy VII - with someone else, and Adam joined in on the conversation, being a huge fan of it himself.
So it seems, if I didn't like that game, we may not even be friends.
The same could be said for Emily.
I met Emily through a fanfiction site called Fanfiction.net.
She'd wrote a story on there about the Gamecube game: Paper Mario: TTYD.
If I hadn't been addicted to the game at the time, I wouldn't have clicked the link, read the story, sent the reviews, sent the PMs, sent the e-mails, added a contact and started talking...
It seems odd that a simple obsession or passion can lead to gaining and breaking friends.
Adam was born in 1992, one year after me.
I'm not exactly a year older, it's a few months, rather than a year.
We're both in year eleven.
We both want to go to Middlesbrough college.
We both like Guitar Hero, Final Fantasy and Super Smash Bros. Melee.
We're both slightly emo - or, so the chavs say.
We both like to drink Cherry Coke.
We both like to eat pizza.
I like cheese and onion crisps but he likes salt and vinegar.
He puts vinegar and tomato sauce on his chips - I leave mine dry.
This is a photo of Adam and I.
We took it today infront of the big mirror in my parents' room so we could see if we were both in focus.
I'm looking in the opposite direction to what he is.
I don't think I'm photogenic, and he thinks the same of himself.
Adam's holding the camera, and I have my hands in my pockets.
Adam likes online games, but I prefer offline.
We both like the occassional bit of J-pop, like Ayumi Hamasaki and Double You.
Adam likes anime, but I like cartoons.
Every Saturday we go across the field behind my house to the corner shop to buy chocolate and other junk food treats.
Adam usually pays for it - and I provide the pizza at lunchtime.
We've eaten pizza every Saturday for about five weeks now.
Today we played on the Wii downstairs - set up on the monster Sony Bravia 45" HD telly.
It makes your eyes sting sometimes.
We played Super Smash Bros. Melee.
We play team battles against two level nine computers.
I play as Peach and Adam plays as Sheik.
I tend to fight brutally, and Adam hides in the shadows and uses projectiles.
We win a lot, and we lose only to stupidly hard team combos like Fox and Falco, or Gannondorf and Captain Falcon.
We played coin matches, bonus matches and stock matches.
My favourite stage is Pokémon Stadium, Adam likes Hyrule Temple - but neither of us like each others' favourite stage.
I like small stages, Adam likes large ones with places to hide in.
We both like to use Pokéballs, Hammers and Green Shells as weaponry.
We share recovery items like Heat Containers and Maxim Tomatoes.
We're a good team, actually.
After that, we played Guitar Hero III.
We're pretty even, though Adam doesn't have GH3, he has GH1 - which is harder, because you can't perform hammer-ons and pull-offs.
We watched each other do a few songs.
I downloaded the whole GH3 soundtrack and sent it to Adam and Kyle.
He's got himself addicted to Radio Song, by Superbus. - So he tried that on Hard and Expert.
I tried playing on Expert, hyperspeed 5.
It's really difficult, the speed that the fretboard moves at makes you feel really sick.
We did some co-op songs and got some 5-star ratings.
Then we tried Through The Fire And Flames - by Dragonforce.
I tried doing rythm guitar with the Wii remote first - we only have one guitar, you see.
We got to about 60%, before we failed.
Then we swapped, and we lost at about 30% - I tend to play bass with the Wii-remote when we play on co-op. I don't mind. I'm quite good with both.
WE ARE STEALING YOUR SOUL.
Well G-Money has upped the ante on the online auctioning public by sexing up his pic.
I bet there is not a person in this world that can resist his come hither, yellowish gaze and overall crusty personage.
I like the game, honestly.
-The incorporation of the other Zeldas was great.
-The graphics were okay.
-The weapons were incredible.
-The story was good.
-The gameplay was okay.
However...(This is where I might spoil things)
For the amount of time that was spent making this GameCube game, you'd think the story line could have been more in-depth and well-planned. As the player of the game, I feel I was thrown into this world of Hyrule with no true description of anything that was going on. Yes, things in real life are suddenly sprung up us, much like when Link transformed into his beastly wolf self, but, in taking the part of Link, I want to be him. I want to feel his essence in my gameplay, his spirit. I want to know who he is, who I am, and where he's coming from. How can he be named "Link" if there is no true bond between him and the player? I felt no connection to him in this game. There was nothing felt for Midna, as there should have been. The connections in the past (Navi, Tatl, and so on) felt real, like I was actually losing a friend when they parted ways with Link. This game lacks emotion. With the Princess Zelda.. She was tossed into the game too soon, and in a cold fashion. The first three dungeons were GREAT. You learned a little of the town's history, and about the inhabitants, and you go, and you "save the day." Then.. what happened? Did they forget that they were making a game? Did they forget about the people and the troubles? Sure, there were a few small details, but, I need substance. I want to know who and what I'm fighting for, like in Ocarina of time. You find out what's going on, and why, and what you have to do to fix it. That's what I love about that game. And.. NO GERUDOS... Are you kidding me? I feel like I'm babbling on here with no true purpose, because words cannot describe how much disappointment I have for that game. My SN is ZELDAN. That should tell you that I'm *somewhat* of a fan of the series...
The gameplay was okay. Not too much to complain about, other than the fact that, hey, not hard enough!! I'm not 12 anymore. Two minute battles aren't going to make me lose hearts anymore. I enjoyed playing the game, but, perhaps a "medium" or "hard" mode should be available for those of us who call ourselves "gamers."
The ending is what really set me off. I honestly would not be here in this forum right now, bickering, if it were not for the ending. The story, nor the gameplay, nor the graphics (which are great for what was supposed to be a solely GCN game!) were enough to upset me much, because, if there is to be a sequel (which I haven't heard about.. but.. hey, who knows?), you have to leave room for improvement, right? Anyway, the ending was HORRIBLE!!! I think I missed something. Yeah, I know, you have to wait for the credits to roll to see the whole thing, and I realize that there isn't too much you can do with an ending in a game, but, it all boiled down to THAT? Hello! I just saved the world. Midna loves me, and Zelda probably does too. Midna could have at least stolen a kiss, or something. And that's not even the worst part. I'd much rather have scenes about what happened to the towns people afterwards, and what is to come of Hyrule, and .. Ganondorf saying he would kick my butt (because I'm not too sure he's dead), than a kissing scene. Some kind of confirmation that I did well. Something.
The game was great. Don't think that it's not. I just don't understand how people who could develop such a beautiful and wonderful game could produce such a lackluster ending. If this is what Zelda has amounted to, maybe it should just stop here. And don't tell me "sthu, u couldn't do better," because I know I can't, but I also know that I could have written a much better ending.
I would like to apologize to the fanboys/girls I offended, but I'm not going to. I am a huuuge fangirl of Zelda, and this is my opinion. I shouldn't have to apologize for feeling.
