Fun Game @ MindSay

The game of Bunnies.
I spent about 5 hours playing the game of bunnies last night. There is no more fun way to make a beer pyramid, I promise. =]

I highly advise anyone who has not played to give it a shot. Drink responsibly(and send me photos!). Anyone have a related story to share?

New Addiction!

I sometimes say that there's no point in me going into college some days.

Well today, there REALLY wasn't.

I did originally plan to do some work on my sketchbook before my Media Studies lesson - but naturally, I couldn't be arsed.

I played a few rounds of Solitaire - then got REALLY bored, so I wandered into town.

Nana had won some money on the Irish lottery - so she gave me £10.

This, along with the money I didn't spend when I took the day off last Tuesday - I went into CEX.

I did originally plan to buy Resident Evil 4 - but they only had the Wii version, and I was a few quid short.

Then I thought I'd get Manhunt 2 - but I don't look 18. I doubt they'd have asked me for ID or anything, but I are not the risky sort.

Then my eyes fell upon Bully: Scholarship Edition.

A game I've always wanted, but never really thought about.

So I bought it. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went back to college EXACTLY on time for lesson - only to find it wasn't even on.

The only lesson I had wasn't even on.

Lewis was frustrated too - and he didn't want to even wait around a few more minutes to see if Sarah did turn up. So I walked him to the bus station. I went to Home Bargains and Greedy Joe's - picked up my lunch to take back with me.

Once back - I nommed on my chosen purchases, turned on my NEW PLAYLIST and did 3 hours solid work on my sketchbook.

I was starting to get really stressed out with it, see.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't originally plan to play Bully, as I still have lots of unfinished games without starting another one.

But I thought I would.

Jeez, was it a good decision to play it. :)

IT'S FUCKING LEGENDARY.

There's shitloads of controls to learn - so many different moves you can pull off. Tons of people to interact with - all of whom blurt out RANDOM SHIT when you go past them or interact with them.

"You're gonna be pissin' blood!"

"I think Ashley likes me... Does she wanna be my girlfriend?!"

"My butt itches..."

"Wanker! WANKER!!!"

"Eww! Like, who's boyfriend is THAT?"

Alright, I admit it's quite cheesy and American - but it has its moments of hilarity. The fact it's overly violent and contains shitloads of swearing pulls me away from the cringe factor. :)

Some parts are quite challenging too.

Oh, and I reckon it's gonna take me FOREVER to complete it.

To put it into perspective - I played it for 4 hours and I got 5.67%!

It's a game with a SHITLOAD to collect... I be going for 100%... Yes I am. :)

My favourite part so far has got to be using the Wii remote to dissect animals in Biology class - especially pulling out rat's testes with tweezers. :D

Owww.

Hey guys.

I'm feeling super craptastic. Like WHOA. Sucky.

That time of month you know?

Cramps. Ow.

So I went to H-man's soccer game today.

Twas fun. He kind of stood around a lot though.

They tied the game. And for some reason they decided to go into overtime sudden death to see who would've won. And H-man's team would've won. But oh wellz. It's still counted as a tie game because you can only go into overtime during the playoffs.

So after the game my mom and I went up to the mall for this. The Loreal Paris Beauty Tour. We had registered on the previous day and came to get our free skin consultation, hair consultation, DIY nail stand, and makeup. Okay. First off, the whole thing was craptastic. The lady who did my skin consultation put this stuff on my face that made it all red and blotchy and dry. Then I asked the makeup lady to give me a smoky eye and it was all *bleah* Then she put powder over the flaky skin so that it was even MORE visible. So here I am walking around with the crappiest job of smoky eye, peely red/blotchy skin and frida kahlo eye brows. :( :( :(  I was so upset. And since it's That-time-of-the-month, I was super emotional. I was like *sigh* *don't have a sobfest...*

The only good thing that came out of that was during the hair consultation. The guy who was looking at my hair said that I had "exotic looking colors." He was like "Are you from around here?" and I was like "Yes..." then my mom interjects with "Her dad's from MEXICO!" So yeah. That was nice. Cheered me up a bit.

YESTERDAY:

I went to a friends party. I had a LOT of fun. She had a karoke machine and I sang "Fever" by Peggy Lee (MY FAVE SONG EVER!) with her. I also sang "Don't Cha" by the Pussycat Dolls with Maria. Later I was like randomrhythmman you missed Don't Cha!!!!

FunFUN.

So how has your day been??

Go 'Stros!

Howdy howdy all!

Well instead of going with my family to Mississippi for Easter, but since I don't really do Easter I told myself a trip to the old ballgame might be a good time and I was right! Okay so I went to a pre-season game a couple of weeks ago and had a serious blast, the Astros even won. Of course this trend did not carry over into today's game. The astros lost 10 to 1. Ten to freaking One people!

Here are some highlights from the pre-season fun.

and here is the best part of today's game...

yeah that's right. It was the singing of Deep in the Heart of Texas!

Told ya! Wasn't that gold? It's like you were in the audience huh?

How about some poetry...here goes....

Eating the Peach

Eating the peach, I feel like a murderer.
Time and darkness mean nothing to me,
moving forward and back with my white enameled teeth
and bloated tongue sating themselves on moist,
pulpy flesh. When I suck at the pit that resembles
a small mammal's skull, it erases all memory
of trouble and strife, of loneliness and the blindings
of erotic love, and of the blueprint of a world
in which man, hater of reason, cannot make
things right again. Eating the peach, I feel the long
wandering, my human hand—once fin and paw—
reaching through and across the allegory of Eden,
mud, boredom, and disease, to bees, solitude,
and a thousand hairs of grass blowing by chill waters.--Henri Cole

Medieval II: Total War
The Game: Medieval II: Total War

The Objective: Releive the French of the province they stole (They would probably say something more like "Liberated", but history is written by the victor, but I may be getting ahead of myself here)

The Plan: A fast strike, destroying their fortifications with war machines, eliminating all resistance before it can be gathered.

The Execution: Perfect

Damn, I love this game. I have played it for 48 hours, with only breaks to eat and sleep, and most of the time I have been eating in front of the computer. It is just a brilliant game, very much like its predecessor, but on a grander scale, with more finesse. The graphics are fantastic, the campaign is what we have come to know and love from the Total War series. The game resembles Rome: Total War but in Medieval: Total War's environment.

Possibly the biggest improvement they have made, is making the distinction between a castle and a city. The former being made as a military fortification, with access to more advanced troops, but little in the way of financial aid, The latter is the opposite, they have less units to choose from, but they are more able to suport the economy of your kingdom. The other thing that I loved was the entrace of the Mongol Invasion, introducing another (already expanded) faction, to play in the European nexk of the woods, my only thanks are that (playing as England) I am well away from their ragging, pilliaging, looting and plundering hordes.

So all I have to say is that if you like the Medieval time period (I believe that game begins mid-1100's, and you fight through to the end of the castle age) or if you enjoyed the first one, have a look at Medieval II: Total War, you should be quite impressed.

Have a good one.
