[Blog #315] --- Content --- [Friday] - Christmas Shopping!
I went to nana's this morning - she'd said I could borrow a pair of grandad's longjohns for tomorrow's filming. Then I'd said I'd go into town with her to do some Christmas shopping with her. Mam dropped me off and nana made me some toast for breakfast while I played on my DS to deter myself away from the boredom that morning television always, without fail - brings.
We got the Leven Valley bus - from the epic bus stop three meters from her doorstep - at half 11 and got into town for around 11:45. Nana seemed to be getting lots of gift vouchers - we were all over the place, from River Island to Game and back again. Seriously, if I ever looked out of place - I look out of place in TopShop. Just imagine me standing in TopShop, wearing my anarchy blazer, black jeans with the big fuck off chain, black and red Converse - and to top it all, I was waiting for nana by the PETITE racks. Seriously lmao, what an outlier.
When we were in Game, I showed nana the Brutal Legend adverts they had up on the screens - she suggested that I ask Ian and Lisa to get me it for Christmas. That's not a bad idea nana. :)
I also noticed the strategy guides... Hmmm... Should I be obsessive and go for the 100% with a guide? I only buy guides for epic RPGs and games I REALLY like. I have a feeling I'll like BL though. It's certainly my type of game.
They have DJ Hero set up in Game - seriously, Shelly and I have got to have a go of that when we're in town next week. It looks fucking ridiculous like. :)
I went into Boots to get some stuff for Ian and Lisa. I've got Lisa a cosmetics bag and a lipgloss set - they're all themed with like Japanese geisha girls - which I know Lisa is batty about, so they seem really fitting. I've got a body set for Ian, but I need to get them both some chocolates to go with that. I might get Ian something else too, maybe when I go mooching in Forbidden Planet for Adam's present. :)
When I was in River Island, I found the best thing ever for him - but I shan't post it to here, for I know he's an avid reader of this blog. :P
And of course, when walking past HMV - the idea struck me for what nana could get me to go with the games rack she's bought me out of Argos. Rammstein's sexy new album, Leibe Ist Fur Alle Da. :D
I set off for college at about 12:40, but still ended up about ten minutes early, so I stood about listening to Rammstein and Blind Guardian.
Film Studies was reasonable - we finished off our posters from last week and made some notes on a documentary about blockbuster films. Saying that, blockbusters are fairly simple to understand - I really didn't need to see a documentary about them to understand the concept.
Walking back to the bus station, I bumped into mam, Christine, Lucy and Lila - so I turned around and walked back to the car park with them. Nice one, I saved my bus fare. :P
I sat in the back of the car with Lucy and Lila - who she had on her knee. She looked like she kept wanting to lunge for my badges. I wasn't keen on the idea - yes, I'd like to see children getting impaled on safety pins, but I could do without baby blood on my face. :)
When mam came home, we watched Desparate Housewives and then when we ran out of DVDs, I ate a bowl of rice and watched How Clean Is Your House? - Kim Woodburn is supposed to be going on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here on Sunday - so I'll definatley be watching that, she's fucking epic. :D
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shelly came at around five - we laid on my bed and had lots of cuddly time.
It's so weird cuddling her when we've got Cannibal Corpse and Rammstein blasting in the background. :)
I got some things organised for tomorrow's filming - mainly the suit jackets and shirts from my wardrobe, then I hung them on the door ready for when we needed them.

[Blog #308] --- Neutral --- [Friday] - Being Fucked Around...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I actually expected myself to be going into college for a wasted effort like I normally do on a Friday - but I was proved wrong - we were actually learning about stuff I hadn't already learnt last year - and not wasting my time with coursework planning when mine was planned three weeks ago. :)
Before I set off for the bus this morning, I cleaned my room, hoovered the floor, re-arranged my PS2 games shelf, changed my bedsheets and emptied my bin. I used my time productivley. :)
I had to go into college today as well to pick up the camera Paul told us all to take home over the weekend. One of the heavy film cameras we were using the other week in the lesson. With the annoying manual apature and poxy light meter. Fuck knows what photos I can take to relate to my Addictions project like.
Though I did have to stand in the art corridors for 20 fucking minutes waiting for the technician to finish talking before I even got a camera - and he was snotty to me, saying I need to pay for the film. I was like "FINE, HAVE YOUR FUCKING FIFTY PENCE."
Then Arriva decided to be knobs and have the 64 turn up half an hour late.
I've finally got refunded by Play.com for this GH handheld that didn't bother turning up in time for Shelly's birthday - but surprise surprise - when I went to order another one from a different seller - they'd decided to stop selling them altogether. Gaaahh.
Seriously being fucked around today like.
So instead, I ordered a Guitar Hero poster and a copy of Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly for her instead. Hopefully she'll like them. I still think the GH handheld would have been better though... :(
My fears about Ash and this weird girl were sort of cleared up. Ash came online and I asked her about this person who's supposably like me. Apparently we're a totally different type of weird. And if Ash describes someone as "this girl I'm friends with" - as opposed to "my friend" - she obviously values me higher.
...Well, I hope so......

I fucking hate half term breaks. They're so boring.
I love the fact I'm off college - because I despise it so - but I usually find myself sitting around wasting my time.
For lunch, I ate chicken flavour noodles and a bag of meatballs. I made noodles and meatball sandwiches with them - and they were ever so fucking lush. It's one thing I'm doing again in the near future with the other bag of meatballs.
I've spent a lot of the day downloading music - I was off on a massive downloading fit. I was mainly getting all the songs from the Guitar Hero: World Tour setlist, but was also downloading the rest of Rammstein's new album. I'm yet to listen to it - but if Pussy is anything to go buy, it should be pretty mint. :D
As for gaming, I tried to get a few more collectables on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I know I'll never get a true 100%, because the boss trophies are a cunt in the arse to get - but I could get pretty close.
I managed to do Boss Battles on normal with Meta Knight - fuck knows why I've never done it before, it was a pile of piss - but I couldn't do it on hard because Tabuu is a cheaty twat and gets off too many lucky shots.
I played a few levels on the CD Factory and added about 12 new stickers to my collection - then spent like 3000 coins on the Coin Launcher to gather a few more new trophies. Brawl is so beasty. I don't think I'll ever get close to getting anywhere near 100%.
I got sick of it after a while so tried to play Crash Bash - I went from 101% to 107% - but then the cheaty slag CPU players started pissing me off. The relic challenges - win two in a row - I can always win the first one, but then their AI like triples when I go to get the 2nd one and I can never do it.
I ate hotdogs for tea and watched a few hours of the Spongbob Squarepants marathon. I think that's like the only time I've watched TV this week. I proper don't sit infront of a telly screen unless it's wired up to a console. :)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I amused myself via YouTube - watching episodes of Bear In The Big Blue House and the Channel 4 documentary Half-Ton Son - yes, a massive contrast I know.
Ash was on MSN, so I talked with her for a while - but I ended up having another heartfelt conversation with her. She's so understanding over MSN. She's got to be like me - way way better in writing than she is in words. She even gave me virtual hugs.
I was telling her about Wednesday and how shitloads of things are starting to dwell on my mind - especially the things I've done to her, like spitting on her and punching her.
She said she's not bitter about them, but I just responded: "Even if you weren't and showed no signs, I'd still think you were."
Sigh, why am I so fucking paranoid about EVERYTHING?

Today was the day I had to show the sequence from my chosen film in Film Studies. We're writing essays as part of the coursework - choose a 3-5 minute sequence from a film and analyse the micro features. Sarah was making us all show our sequences up on the whiteboard so we could "bounce ideas". Hmm.
Anyway, I chose my favourite film, Amélie - and when I was searching through it, looking for the bit I wanted - I only went and clicked the point on the bar when the "how many couples are having an orgasam right now?" bit came on. It was amusing, in its own little way.
I've picked quite a fast, yet horribly detailed sequence, so this "idea bouncing" idea actually helped; Sarah and some other people in the group had picked out some stuff that I hadn't even noticed, even after all the times of watching the damn thing.
On the way to the bus station, I stopped off at B&M and bought a Wispa bar for Shelly. I'd have gotten her a Crunchie, but they didn't seem to have any.
She'd told me she was coming at half 3 to 4 - but she didn't come until nearly 6. Her reasoning was summat to do with her parents, so I didn't really persue the matter.
Waiting for her, I'd been playing Guitar Hero II and gotten to a stage where I was only a few songs away from finishing both the easy and medium careers. When that's done, I can remove the game from the "to be completed" wallet and put it back in the box, ready for when I'm working the hard and expert careers.
(I can't alternate between all four of the difficulties - I need to finish the easier careers before I go onto the fun ones, otherwise I'll end up out of practice.)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got Shelly to play the ridiculous 1,000,000 roses level on We Love Katamari.
It's like, THE MOST POINTLESS, YET EVER SO SLIGHTLY EPIC LEVEL EVER.
Beat the game, collect all the cousins and what are you rewarded with?
A ridiculous challenge to collect a MILLION red roses - and according to guides, the quickest time to do it in is like TWELVE HOURS.
So if that's the quickest, I dread to think what the slowest is. :(
I left Shelly to it while I went to ring Ash.
But I ended up staying on the phone for like 45 minutes. The first 15 were spent talking to her mam coz our little Ash had done a total opposite of what we know her to do - and she'd gone to the university's STUDENT BAR.
When I told Shelly, she was like "ARE YOU SURE THAT'S THE RIGHT ASHLEIGH?!"
I wasn't sure myself either. :P
But Ash quickly redeemed her "Ash" status when I asked her if she was smashed and she responded with: "Norrr... I've had a coke..." (best spoken with the voice, naturally)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shelly and I spent a fun night together - we drank what was left of the bottles of fruit cider in the fridge, played a little bit of Guitar Hero and then we settled down to spend a few intimate hours together. :)
