Fourth of July -- Pictures.

Anyway, photobooth with Mom and Lance<3 (And we really were laughing in the third one!! NO FAKING HERE Lance is just ridiculously funny, lol)

This one is me deciding "Fuck it, I'm going to Jill's":

And this is at Jill's . . . Jill, Joan (pronounced Jo-Ann, btw), and me . . . with my babygirl Amber on the ground:

Fourth of July -- Words.
Sunday and Monday were absolutely ridiculous for me and made me not feel like posting anything publicly . . . but I owe you guys 4th of July stories so I need to suck it up I guess (no you are NOT getting the Sunday/Monday stories).

It turns out we all had weird 4th of July stories to share while we were all working on Sunday. Dish spent his night tripping and shooting off fireworks (which I am pretty sure is not an entirely smart idea), Homeboy got too drunk and passed out during a blow job, and Brent had gotten into a fight (hello fucking middle school/high school Brent who was always fucking suspended for fighting). He had driven his friend Randy's truck to work on Sunday, and while I thought he had just left the passenger's side window down, Brent brought me out to the truck to show me that a window no longer existed. During the 4th of July fight, Randy had taken some kid's head and busted it through his window . . . there were shards of glass every where in the truck.

Lou came home earlier than I did on Sunday after the 4th of July partying. Him and (his BFF) Chris were originally going to be party hopping, but I'm pretty sure they only stayed in one place that night. Anyway, Lou decides he is too wasted to drive his car, so he lets Chris drive instead. (Good for Lou, not driving while intoxicated, however, Chris was probably just as intoxicated, and also does not have a license). They're taking the backroads off Old Dixie Highway and I imagine Chris is probably ridiculously speeding. Anyway, Chris ends up driving off the road and propelling Lou's car deep into a ditch. Actually, his car lands on top of a palm tree, surroudning by more trees and even more trees. They can't get the car out without a chain and some truck pulling it, so they abandon it there. Lou gets pissed at Chris (understandably so) and tells him he doesn't want him staying at our house anymore (this kid has basically lived here off and on since he was in middle school) and Chris gets pissed at Lou and threatens him with his brass knuckles. Lou manages to get home. When I asked him on Sunday how he had gotten home, he said "I honestly don't have a clue."

So after everyone rests for a bit, my father, Lou, and this guy Gene go to pull Lou's car out of these trees. While they are doing so, the police show up. They start giving Lou all this bullshit about how he left the scene of an accident (which, technically, he DID leave the scene of an accident, but it's not like he took his car and bailed) but ultimately decided that since the only things involved were some trees, they were not going to right an accident report, nor were they going to ticket him.

They manage to get Lou's car out of the ditch, and then it even was okay to drive it home. It is scratched to all hell.

On his way to work, however, Lou calls me and says that none of his blinkers are working and he doesn't think he can deliver with it. So I let him use my car to deliver on Sunday night.

And I guess this should be included in this story as well. At about 1:30 this morning, Lou pulls in to the driveway. He sits there for a minute. He comes in to the house to tell me, "I was just chillin in my car, and my window just shattered."

So I walk outside, and sure enough, there is glass all over the place, and Lou has no driver's side window.

As Magen said, that car just attracts accidents.

Okay, so, my fourth was bad as soon as it hit midnight, but my weekend nights are typically bad. Needless to say my father ruined all my plans. But my mom and Lance kind of made up for it, and we went shopping together for a long time. We did a photobooth :] So I was starting to feel better. Jill invited me to her house for a party, and while Jill and I have been sort of shaky ever since she was fired, I wasn't sure about going, but Angie said she would come with me. Granted, Angie was drunk at the time.

After we come home from shopping and I am feeling a bit better, everyone leaves and I end up getting really angry at Angie because she's a fucking dumb ass. So I am in my house, alone, and decide to just drive all around town for an hour, watching fireworks everywhere from my car. When I get back home, I say fuck it and go over to Jill's anyway. It was more of a get together than a party (there was probably only 12 of us there at any given time) and I ended up having a really good time. I was actually one of the last people to leave, lol. I sure as hell didn't want to fucking go home, haha.

Jill has really nosy neighbors who would certainly tell on her if she had a party while her parents are away, so she had asked everyone to park at the tennis courts of her neighborhood and just walk to her house. So, Joel, James, and I are the last ones to leave and I decide to walk with them to our cars. NOT EVEN THINKING ABOUT, Joel is walking around with open containers of beer. Of course, of course, of course, of course we walk down the street that a cop is driving by. He fucking pulls us over. WHO THE FUCK GETS PULLED OVER WHILE WALKING!?? Oh hey I DO. I wasn't even fucking drinking, but they wrote up ordinance reports on us and like took down our physical descriptions (even needing descriptions of my tattoos, wtf) and they ran our licenses (they almost didn't give mine back to me!!!) and all this junk. They decided not to ticket us or arrest Joel, which I suppose is good. They made us sit on the side of the road for a good 15 minutes (I WAS WEARING A DRESS, HOW ANNOYING) and all I kept mumbling was "I wasn't even drinking, I wasn't even drinking, I wasn't even drinking" and on my left Joel is shaking, "I'm going to jail, I'm going to jail, I'm going to jail." Thankfully the cops were pretty cool and then let us walk to remaining minute (seriously, that's how close we were at that point) to the tennis courts to get to our cars. So I ended up not getting home until like 3:40 Sunday morning . . . fucking Joel and his Miller High Life.

I have like 3 or 4 pictures of the 4th that I'm going to post sometime.

Details to follow.
Yesterday, I had a horrible morning, followed by a good afternoon, followed by a bad evening, followed by a wonderful night (besides my run-in with the police).

Yesterday, Lou had what I assume to be a pretty decent day, followed by a horribly shitty night, followed by a still shitty early morning, followed by a relieving mid-morning (besides his run-in with the police).

I feel bad talking about my good time while my brother had a bad one, so I guess I am going to have to explain both.

Assure me it's okay to use my heart and not my eyes.
Going to Jill's tonight with Angie.

I got rid of my previous post. You're not missing much.

Happy 4th. :]

Fourth of July - 2009 Edition
Happy Fourth of July!!!

In honor of this most esteemed holiday (eh-) I would like to share a picture with you of my little Independence Day mascot.

Presenting, in all his Red, White and Blue glory......Christian!

Technically, this was taken several days ago, but with the USA on his shirt; in the proper colors (except for the purple ball, but hey--that's my favorite color!), and the absolute joy in his expression, he is my Independence mascot.

Truly, there is no way that laughing little face didn't make you smile.

Happy 4th!
