Things I Will Look Forward To - A counter post to the Things I Miss

Environgirl made me do it!

  • I look forward to the end of this damn semester!
  • I look forward to reading my trashy romance novels.
  • I look forward to getting my daughter ready for her Prom.  I can't wait to look for dresses and shoes and the whole shibang!
  • I really look forward to being in the position that if I chose to do so, I could retire at 50. Yep. I said it, I want to be financially able to retire at 50 and still have a good life. That doesn't mean that I will definitely retire, just that if I wanted to, I could.
  • I look forward to wearing the black robe with the light-blue hood, two years from now. I can't wait to finally have my masters degree.
  • I look forward to wearing a black robe with a hood and stripes after my daughter gets old enough to be able to handle me being out of the loop for longer periods of time. Yes...I'm going for my Doctorate when she gets into high school.
  • I look forward to my new career as a counselor.
  • I look foward to having my first collection of erotic stories published.
  • I really look forward to doing more traveling. To say I haven't traveled much in my life would be a terrible understatement. I want to visit Hawaii, Alaska, Arkansas (Arkansas has some of the best quartz crystal deposits in the world.  Ya'll know how I love rocks!)California, Florida, Washington State and Oregon. Tristaprez is moving to Portland.  Then I want to visit Martinique, Jamaica, St. Martins, The Island of Hispaniola (where The Dominican Republic and Haiti are).  I could say "sak passe" to my peeps in Port O' Prince. I also want to visit The Virgin Islands, England, France, Monico, Madagascar, Mali, Egypt, and Nigeria.

To see wide open with a head that's broken...
Hang a life on a tragedy
Plow me under the ground
That covers the message
That is the seed...

As some of you know for a select few either know me in a physical sense or you have close attention to this here Blog thing, I recently lost my grandmother and now I have none...

Anyhow, spending a great deal of time in funeral has afforded me the opportunity to reflect upon life and other things that may be of some importance to folks who stumble upon this written record of my life at some point in the far off future for the catacombs of CyberSpace are littered with the bones of those who once were...

Back to the subject that I had on my mind that I thought that I enjoy sharing with the world. Time to me is much like a bulldozer always pushing forward, burying those in its path. Generations of those who have walked this earth have been plowed under to wipe the slate clean so that the future generations can build upon what remains...

Each and every generation eventually leveled before that blade that cannot be stopped. Push as you may against it, but mere mortal man hasn't the strength to stop the bulldozer's progress...

And it never ends, one generation is plowed under and another is there to take its place though they will eventually be plowed under so that others can take their places and so on and so on...

'Tis but another never ending cycle in the Circle of Life...

And eventually all those who have come before me will be gone so that I alone will remain to make my final stand before the blade and so tat all who come after me will be those who remain to take my place in the stand against time...

This is the Word of the AntiCrust...

Praise be ye who Read the Word for ye are Blessed amongst humans...
