In some of my earlier entries I've talked alot about Fiona Apple and her music.Also when I downloaded her latest CD .. which was actually a DVD there was this really funny video with for one of her songs .. The video star her and funny comedian Zach Galifianakis.

I never really occured to me to browse her video on youtube.com. But now I found it .. so I thought I share it with you all.. check it

If you are someone who sings along with their favorite songs in the car or just on your own in the shower, one of the real treats of a song is the sing-along ending. This is the part that sticks in your head for years to come. It's the part that often gets you and all your friends to burst into song in public, not caring so much who notices.

Whether it's just a bunch of "na na"s, a repeat of the chorus, or one final lyric that ties the song together like a rug can really tie a room together, it's the spirit of the moment that gets you into it. Sometimes the entire band sings along while other times the lead singer's voice will be shifted and played on top of itself to add layers. Sometimes the sing along-goes on for a few minutes and sometimes it's just 20 seconds. It really doesn't matter. At this point in the song you want to sing along; you need to sing along. Anything to be a part of this great feeling that's making it's way into your ears.

Tonight, WTF presents you with four songs that have some great sing-along endings. The first one is arguably the most famous sing-along ending in the history of popular music. The other three are a bit lesser known, with two of them just being released in the last year. So sing-along and get into the music. We will be.

So here is what happend. I downloaded this DVD "Fiona Apple - extraordinary machine", since I couldn't find the new reproduced album anywhere. It took ages, there is not many who share it I guess (3gb is alot of data to download aswell).

 

The DVD contains the "Not about love" music video. The video is clips of Fiona and standupcomedian Zach Galifianakis around Zachs house(Zach lipsinking the hole tune). Nice video, nothing fancy .. just nice all in all.

Well the cool thing is, that I, a couple of month back had downloaded a standup show by the exact same Zach Galifianakis (I think it was a "Comedy Central Presents")  not knowing who he was.

A nice show by the way, i can definitely recommend it. Anyways nice little coincident

 

The rest of the DVD contains some live performances and then the studio album ofcourse.

 

Well since I never actually reached the point where I took out my wallet and payed for any of Fionas music. I found myself actually wanting to pay for her 3 albums. Then I find out that she is now signed to record company Sony and that anti-RIAA people are suggesting all the strange stuff surrounding her album release (the leak, stories about Sony holding it back and her holding it back), might just be part of some bigger advertisingstunt by the evil evil record company. All in all, I end up just buying her 2 previous albums "Tidal" and "When the Pawn" which she released on record company Columbia.
