Yesterday the FFA granted provisional licences to two new clubs for the 2008/09 A-League season, provided that they can meet undisclosed requirements within 2 weeks.

 

YAY for new teams, new teams means a longer season, which means MORE FOOTBALL! Also because one of the teams is from the Gold Coast I can now go to some of thier games to get another hit of the football drug.

I'm out to Suncorp tonight to watch the Roar's last home game of the season. In the lead up to the start of the match the league ladder looks like this, with one round to play.

 

1 Central Coast Marriners Played: 20 Won: 9 Drawn: 4 Lost: 7 Goal Difference: +3 Points: 31

2 Newcastle Jets               Played: 20 Won: 8 Drawn: 7 Lost: 5 Goal Difference: +3 Points: 31

3 Queensland Roar           Played: 19 Won: 8 Drawn: 6 Lost: 5 Goal Difference: +6 Points: 30

4 Sydney FC                    Played: 19 Won: 8 Drawn: 6 Lost: 5 Goal Difference: +4 Points: 30

 

Out of the 8 teams, only those four matter, as they are the only teams contesting the finals, let alone the premiership.

 

A win and a draw in Queenslands final 2 rounds should see us claim the Premiership, as well as the double-chance a top 2 finsh gives. in the championship series. 2 wins will definatly seal it

 

At the moment we are 5.5 hours away from kick-off and I am absolutly PUMPED! It is going to be huge! Our most hated rivals, who knocked us out of the Championship last year by keeping us to a draw, the state that every Queenslander has been bought up to hate.

 

A settler in the pub pre-game is not going to be nearly enough, I'll need 4 or 5.

 

God, I can't wait.

Hey all!

SO... If anyone cares, Jon Diebler broke the record for high school shooting record in basketball...

Don't ask me how many points he has because I wouldn't be able to tell you.

People treat the kid like he is Madonna or something! I was at the game last night to play in band, got their late and told that the money hungry school faculty over sold tickets, so the band got kicked out. The game still counted for booster hours, and then I was tired in the first quarter of the JV game of being squished together with all the sweaty freshman in MY band section, so I called Nicholle who was working  concession stand and asked if they needed halp down there, and she said yeah, so I went down there and helped with that.

SO i got double booster hour. I wonder how many I have?

I hate our school board. The band didn't get to play at THE most important game ever.

I mean they had Thad Motta the OSU mens basketball coach there, the guy that set the high scoring record, and important alumni of OSU bball.

And they didn't want the pride of Upper Sandusky to play.

And what if there had been a fire!

Our school can only safely hold 1000 people, and there were twice that many in there.

Jon Diebler might have died! **GASP**

Oh no that would be terrible( she says sarcastically)!!!!

ANYWAY!

I went to a square dance tonight. Reverse Homecoming was supposed to be tonight but they cancelled it, so Kenneth( nicholles possible dating subject) invited her to South Central FFA first annual square dance and she invited me, and it was so much fun.

Square dancing is awesome, and so is the virginia reel.

I danced with Joe on most of the square dances, and Frank on the virginia reel, and then on one of the square dances I asked this kid who was kinda being a wall flower to come and dance with me on that one and he got up and danced with me. It was fun.

Then there was this kid jake who introduced himself to nicholle then while I was sitting out on a line dance, he came up to me and introduced himself to me and we talked a little, then he was kinda staring off into space and he asked the famous question that anyperson from Upper Sandusky, OH gets...DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!

Do you know Jon Diebler???? 

And i was like yeah, he is in my spanish class, and he asked if i liked him, and I said i think he is kinda a jerk sometimes becaus eunless he knows you he isn't very nice...I think I disapointed him.

But then he said yeah I guess kids who are really good at sports are all like that.

kenneth also wanted nicholle to meet his mother. She is so nice!

Her name is kendra. ANd while we were talkinh joe walked by and said when are you guys going to come and visit again?

And I said I dunno maybe i'kll see you at state convention?

He told me that we should go to the Huron county fair. I said awesome.

Then kendra asked who we have perform at our fair. Nicholle said usually no one good.

Then Kendra goes, Well this year we are having rodney adkins.

I was like REALLY? She goes yeah, I can get you guys backstage pass if you come up to the fair.

Nicholle and I are so going to their fai.

Well thats all I have for you.

We are supposed to get a ice storm tonight, so if I don't ge ton for a while it is because we don't have any power.

Ok got back from MFE (Made For Excellence) Conference on Sunday. It was so much better than last year. Last year the state officers put the conference together. This year they brought in people who are like, kinda, trained to do Conferences like this. They mostly taught my group I was in b/c all the officers did the junior and senoir group. I was in the freshman and sophmore group. But there were 3 people. 2 guys one from California, who I might as well say was CUTE and he talked to my group a lot, and one from Texas, he had an accent and I giggled every so often from the wods he said. The girl was from Washington State. And well just so everyone knows and so my friends won't bug me after reading this. I hung out and danced with Kenneth. There is the info. What was wierd about the conference was me and Kaitlyn got along. Which is weird for me.  After I got home I had to go straight to Conformation class. I hate that class. I had to laugh though b/c they are doing this trip, and are giving a chance for students, to go to D.C. sp they can take part in a protest against abortion. It took everything I had to hold in my laughter and not, to mention, anger. When I told my mom about it she laughed and asked if I was going. I looked at her and said " You know if there was a protest like that and I was there for it I would do what I planned to do. Hold up a big sign saying KEEP ABORTION GOING!!!!(My opinion so don't bitch about it) and while holding up the sign I'd be wearing a shirt saying "Protestors, I"ll give you 25 cents to go and get a real life!" And do you know what would be on the news that night.....16 year old girl shot at abortion protest. LOL. But I really don't like the class. And I'm still wondering whether our conformation teacher is gay or not. I can't remember his name so he is Whats His Name. Well just got ICP journal to work on tomorrow during study hall gotta go.

Hmmm. Tonight-

Need to ask neighbors if they want to buy any FFA stuff.

Complete all homework.

Maybe talk to Brad( if he ever calls me)

Get dues for FFA.

Write a blog.

I can do all that.

So Homecoming. Was freaking awesome. I had so much fun, and it was a gazilion times better than last year.

I also danced a lot. I got home about midnight that night.

Then Sunday I went Trail riding for about 6 hours.

Mi bum hurt. Mucho duele.

Anyway. I also have been sleeping a lot. I am so stressed out right now, it is an easy escape from everything.

Well need to finish homework.
