Chocolate Chip Cookie
Who have never tasted this indulging cookie? Cookies that make many people crave for. I guess everybody had a taste and even a smell of it. Every one of us is familiar with it. We usually visit a bakeshop just to avail it. However, have you ever tried baking a chocolate chip cookie all by yourself? And for some reason they were a complete flap because they were dried up and brittle, too damp and powdery, or perhaps they had an appalling taste? Well, try this recipe and who knows it might be the best cookie you have ever tasted.
There are certain things that should be done before baking. You should first gather all the ingredients needed near you, where you can get it easily while preparing the food. Also, remember to clean all the utensils that you will be using. Don’t forget to wash your hands with soap and water. It is also a must that the food that you will be doing should be germs free.
To make 28 large cookies of about 4 ½ inch in size, you will need the following: 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda, 1 ½ teaspoon salt, 2 sticks or 1 cup of unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled, 1 ½ cups of packed light brown sugar, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 3 large eggs, 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla, and lastly 2 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips.
In preparing chocolate chip cookies you should follow the following procedures carefully. First, put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 375°F. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment or wax paper. Then, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Afterwards, beat together butter and sugars in a large bowl with an electric mixer at high speed until pale and fluffy, for 2 to 3 minutes. Lightly beat 1 egg with a fork in a small bowl and add 1 3/4 tablespoons of it plus 2 remaining whole eggs to butter mixture, beating with mixer until creamy, about 1 minute. Beat in vanilla. Reduce speed to low and mix in flour mixture until just blended, and then stir in chips. On 2 baking sheets, scoop 1/4 cup batter for each cookie arranging mounds 3 inches apart. Flatten mounds into 3-inch rounds using moistened palm of your hand. Form remaining cookies on additional sheets of parchment. Bake, 1 sheet at a time, until golden, about 13 to 15 minutes. And lastly, transfer cookies to a rack to cool and continue making cookies in same manner using cooled baking sheets.
Baking stuffs, like chocolate chip cookies, can be fun. All you need is a little imagination, time and passion in doing it. The food will become more scrumptious if you do it not as a duty for you to do and being pressured by the time but instead an enjoying experience. A step-by-step process should be followed carefully and meticulously in order for it to be successful. Except that, this doesn’t mean that you don’t need to have this great love for baking and cooking. You should combine all these aspects in order for you to come up with a perfect output in baking and in cooking.

My Big Family
Have you ever dreamt of having a very big family or even wished to have many sisters and brothers? No need for me to dream or even wish for such a thing because I already have one. I lived with their irritating noise but the good thing is that when I'm lonely, their noise always brings me joy and laughter.
I came from a big family. We are nine children and I’m the ninth, the youngest. I have five brothers and three sisters. My mom had nine siblings unlike my dad who is an only child. Maybe this is the reason why my dad opted to have a big family.
Having been raised in a large family, I experienced many good things with them. When we're all together, we can’t help it but to chat and those chatting will eventually lead to the bursting of laughter. It is also a good thing to have them to whom I can share my happiness, my sorrow, my achievements and even my failures. With them, I can get my strength and pursue on my dreams. It is a pleasure for me to feel their love and support in everything I do. It is also happy to think that the joy and achievement of one becomes the victory of all.
Happiness is not forever specially when living with a big family. Adversities come. Problems within the family never die. There are some misunderstandings that occur which usually starts with a simple joke that becomes too personal. One thing more is that you cannot control their noise, which is too much that annoys me. Aside from that, having a big family requires one to have a big budget, so it is not advisable to have outings even once a year.
Inspite of all the odds, it is truly satisfying to have a big family. I believe that I am truly blessed to have them for they are the people I truly treasure deep in my heart. Too large, too costly but full of joy, full of love and full of blessings.

How to Solve a 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube
Have you ever played with a Rubik’s cube while getting frustrated with not being able to completely solve it yourself? Have you ever seen others twisting and turning the surfaces of the cube so briskly and gracefully wishing you could do the same? How do they do it? There is a process in solving this puzzle and with practice, putting all the correct colors back in place would be a cinch. I will discuss in general the steps needed in order for all the colors of the cube to match correspondingly. You must complete the bottom layer, then the middle layer, and finally the top layer.
First of all, you must complete one surface of the cube which would later become the bottom layer. This is done by choosing a center piece and putting the corresponding colors next to it making sure that the edges of each piece matches the colors of the center pieces adjacent to the surface of you are completing. Once this is done, the four corners should be completed also taking note of all the colors adjacent to your bottom layer of the cube.
Next, the middle layer of the cube should be completed. Holding the cube with the surface you just completed at the bottom, you should be able to see an upside-down letter “T” on all of the four sides. Each piece matching piece should be put into place to complete the second layer of the cube without messing up the previous solved surface.
Once that is completed, all that you would need to do now is complete the top layer. A cross on the top surface must first be made with its edges’ colors matching the center pieces of those in the middle layer. Once this has been done, the four corners should be moved to their respective places and finally twisted to match the remaining colors of each surface of the cube.
Solving the cube may sound like a simple thing to do, however, you must first learn the process and practice it for yourself to master the art. It may be a challenge to obtain the skill of solving this but you will find great joy in your achievement.

Dreams and Daydreams
“All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their mind wake up to find that it was vanity, but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.” That quote was by Thomas Edward Lawrence, which clearly tells us the difference between a dream and a daydream.
A dream is a collection of images that one sees during sleep. But, a dream could be more than that. A dream could show experiences, and even predictions of what might happen. But we cannot control our dreams. We cannot dream about something we want to when we are asleep.
A daydream, on the other hand, is close to conscious thought, and we can usually choose whether to have them or not. They can be a very creative tool and may help to calm a troubled mind or bring to awareness creative ideas and solutions to problems.
When a person says that it has been his dream to achieve something, he means that he daydreams about it, because a daydream is something that we can put into action. Many successful people have daydreamed of what they want to achieve before they actually get it. Many problems have been solved because of that. Many writers have thought of a story because they daydreamed – because they imagined.
Thus, we could all act out our dreams. If we want to achieve something, we must work hard to get them. Daydreams may be fantasies, but we all have the power to turn that fantasy into reality. We were all given the ability to imagine, and make that happen. Always remember that what you imagine is always powerful.

There’s been so much going on in the country lately, with the present ZTE scandal, rallies everywhere, plans of a revolution, allegations of corruption, rising prices of commodities, poor living conditions and consistent environmental degradation.
But has there ever been a time when these issues haven’t plagued us? Or are we just stuck in this endless cycle of return everytime there is an issue we have to face in our government?
Some solutions that the government can administer is by having its officials be more objective, have a control of corruption, heighten a sense of patriotism in every Filipino, and try to improve the educational institutions for a higher literacy rate.
A higher literacy rate can significantly affect the attitudes and aptitudes of all citizens in the country and can also improve the way citizens choose the public servants who would serve in the government. Literacy is essential, but having a higher literacy rate can assure a more scrutinizing citizenry when it comes to people who would serve in the government.
Although it seems like an endless cycle of issues here and there, the solutions to all the government’s problems is still up to the government to give a solution to. All the country needs is one push out of its hole in all these problems, and from there we can start to change for the better and for the continuous growth and development of the Philippines.

People Power: a solution to corruption
We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, that to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
Whenever any form of government becomes poisoned by corruption, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government laying its foundations on such principles and organizing its power to such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness.
The people power proved to nature and of nature’s God, and to the entire human race, that we Filipinos have unique abilities and thoughts, that we wanted to stop graft and corruption that has paralyzed the country’s development.
Prudence indeed, will dictate that governments should not be changed for light and transient causes. And accordingly, all experiences have shown that mankind is more disposed to suffer. But, when a long train of abuses and usurpations pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism.
These people who behave like animals are likely the people who desecrate things they don’t understand, things such as money, fame, and wealth. These acts of cowardliness threaten to weaken the foundations of our country. These acts shatter and steal, but they cannot steal Filipino resolve. The Filipinos are strong. The country is strong! We will prevail.
The Latter Rain... 
alvation comes from God, whom the Bible calls as the Living God and Savior. God is employing a human being in order for His will to be fulfilled ... and that is the salvation of man.
Our Lord Jesus Christ will bring two kinds of salvation, through the Bible. At the time He assumed human form, He saved Israel from its sinfulness. That is written in Matthew 1:21, which says-
"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."
However, when He comes again, for the second time, He will bring salvation to the faithful. And, the Bible is teaching us how we can become one among those people that our Lord Jesus Christ will save come judgment day. The first verse that we have to pay attention to is Ephesians 3:6, which says-
"That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the Gospel."
St. Paul, the Apostle, said, "The Gentiles should be fellow heirs." But before we continue analyzing this verse, let us find out from the Bible: who are called "Gentiles" and why are they also called "heirs?" In Ephesians 2:11-12, this is what is written--
"Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world."
In those lines, St. Paul reminds the Christians in Ephesus of their former conditions. According to the Bible, during those times, "they were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel." Therefore, Biblically speaking, the Gentiles are those who were apart from Christ. They were "strangers from the covenants of promise," ... they were the hopeless, and they were without a God in the world because they were not part of Israel. And we, who live at the present time, may also be called Gentiles if we will use the Bible as our basis.
According to St. Paul, for the Gentiles to be a part of the salvation that comes from our Lord Jesus Christ, they have to be made parts first of the body; and only after that will they become partakers of a promise in Christ by the Gospel.
You will notice that St. Paul made reference to a "body" ... a body into which the Gentiles must integrate themselves so that they also become heirs. The explanation to that may be read in Colossians 1:18-
"And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the first born from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."
Therefore, the body whose head is Christ is the CHURCH. At this point, we must understand that the Gentiles, like us, must join the body, or the Church. And when we say that we must join the Church, it means that we no longer have to build any. We no longer have to establish our own church just for us to become partakers of a promise in Christ.
And whenever we say "join," or be a part of the body, of the Church, it denotes that, there is already an existing Church. In fact, this Church already exists even before the promise of salvation was given to the Gentiles. There is an existing Church even before Paul was made apostle. And this was the same Church that our Lord Jesus Christ taught, when he assumed human form. ... And there can never be another church.
Today, there are preachers who claim that another church had appeared in the Philippines. And according to them, this church was different from the one in Israel. If this is the case, it would appear that, despite the fact that there was already a church in Israel, another church appeared in the Philippines. As far as the Bible is concerned, such a belief is wrong because, according to St. Paul's epistle to the Ephesians, in 4:4-
"There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling."
There is just one body ... there is no other body. And the proof that there is only one body can be read in Colossians 3:15-
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which ye are called in one body; and ye be thankful."
Here, St. Paul is addressing the brethren who, in the beginning were Gentiles, but were eventually called to one body. In other words, the body that the early Christians (the Israelites) made themselves a part of, is also the same body, or church, into which the Gentiles were being called upon to join. Now, if the Gentiles will just integrate themselves to the body, then, the Church will remain ONE.
It is against the teachings of God, and of the Holy Scripture, that other churches is built in other places, let's say in the US, or in England, or in Germany, or in Rome. They also claim that another church had also been founded in the Philippines. The truth is, God did not give any right to anybody to build his own church. It is indeed disgusting that today, a lot of ministers build churches of their own. They deliberately oppose and defy what the Bible said - that, the Gentiles, like us, must join or make ourselves a part of the body, or the Church, for us to be saved.
And what is the reason why we must abide by it? It is because, as far as God is concerned, He did not give anybody His consent to build a church right now in our time. This is what Psalms 127:1 says-
"Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that built it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."
The verse mentioned of a "house," which becomes useless if it is not built by the Lord. Let us now ask the Bible. What is being referred to as the "house," which only God has the right to build? In I Timothy 3:15, it says-
"But if I tarry long , that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth."
If you have noticed, in the New Testament, the word house refers to the Church of God. This is, truly, the house of God because it was built by God, Himself. That is why, if, in our time, you come across churches, whose founders are also their ministers, you can be sure that they are NOT REAL!

But If you are to follow other religion with one of the doctrines sharply contrasted that of the Bible, you are misleading yourself and your flock as well.
Remember, there is ONLY and ONE kind of religion that belongs to God of the Holy Bible, and ALL other religions and religious groups with hundreds, thousands, millions, or even billions of members owned and operated by satan and his cohorts ARE ALL marching to hell in such a GRAND PARADE! Some of them even use biblical verses to claim their authenticity of being from God while amassing wealth and properties from their innocent members to feed their greed. "Fools! Brute animals!" You have your own doctrines but not according to the Bible.
Their religious doctrines and principles were all based on their own ideas put into books like Quran, Buddhism, Taoism, Communism, Catholicism, Manaloism (from followers of Iglesia ni Cristo ni Manalo), etc. which (some of them) teaches fallacies, idiocies, and errors in such a very shrewd manners. And some of them deny the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, and even deny the God of Israel, the Maker of heavens and earth. They have their own version of God and they give names to it, like Jehovah, Allah, Buddha, etc. Against all these false religions or false religious groups, which are not based on the whole truths of the Holy Bible, the Book has this to say,
"For I testify about them that they have
a zeal for God, but not in accordance
with knowledge. For not knowing about
God’s righteousness and seeking to establish
their own, they did not subject themselves
to the righteousness of God." –Romans 10:2-3
These false religious groups is being denied by their own works, and some of their members even kill and murder peoples by tens, hundreds, thousands, and even millions of them with their own version of Holy War (Jihad), Holy Inquisition (by the Roman Catholic Church), Suicide Bombings by Islamic Fundamentalists and Communist groups, Crusades by the Roman Catholic Church in Europe and in some parts of the world, etc. And they are polygamous, fulfilling the lusts of their father the devil, with their flesh and carnal minds:
"You are of your father the devil, and you
want to do the desires of your father. He
was a murderer from the beginning, and does
not stand in the truth because there is no
truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he
speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar
and the father of lies." – John 8:44
They tell lies for their advantage and gain. WOE UNTO YOU if you continue doing them and do not repent!
"I tell you, no, but unless you repent,
you will all likewise perish.” -Luke 13:5
Oh brother, hold your anger. I appeal to your senses, logic, and reasoning… please hear what the Bible say,
"Come forth from her midst, My people,
And each of you save yourselves
From the fierce anger of the LORD.
"Flee from the midst of Babylon,
And each of you save his life!
Do not be destroyed in her punishment,
For this is the LORD’S time of vengeance;
He is going to render recompense to her.
"Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the LORD,
Intoxicating all the earth.
The nations have drunk of her wine;
Therefore the nations are going mad."
– Jeremiah 51:45,6-7
Here, the Babylon represents all the peoples on earth with and in different languages and dialects but with their own false religions. And if you are one of the members of each of these false religions, and you have an ear to hear, God’s admonition is for you. You must FLEE out of the midst of Babylon NOW or ASAP to avoid being caught with “the destroying wind”, as it is written…
"Thus says the LORD:
“Behold, I am going to arouse against Babylon
And against the inhabitants of Leb-kamai
The spirit of a destroyer.
"I will dispatch foreigners to Babylon that they may winnow her
And may devastate her land;
For on every side they will be opposed to her
In the day of her calamity.
"Let not him who bends his bow bend it,
Nor let him rise up in his scale-armor;
So do not spare her young men;
Devote all her army to destruction."
-Jeremiah 51:1-3
Herewith, I dare you ALL, brothers, to seek the truth. And I would like to advise you to test the preachers of our times, especially those holding Bibles in their hands, and discover for yourself the salvation offered by the Lord thru the preacher He had sent to us, lest we fail to catch-up the last drop of the Latter Rain…

How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?
How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!” -Romans 10:13-15
The apostles were sent during their times, and in our times there is one. Therefore thru that preacher sent from God, we can have the faith by HEARING the words of God from him. Because only thru that preacher who had the faith of Christ, we can surely walk with God in our lives from now and forever.
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit,
but test the spirits to see whether
they are from God, because many false
prophets have gone out into the world." -1 John 4:1
