Ummm....HI.

Does anyone know that I am already DYING to get to New Jersey the first weekend in May?
Remember in September when I tried to get to New Found Glory and we had to leave the show early because of fuckin' Jersey Transit issues?
And does anyone remember how I've seen Green Day 3 times in concert and cried EACH time they've gotten off stage, so seeing NFG (my 2nd favorites) covering the music of my favorites might actually kill me?

What an amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing set of shows that will be.  I have to get this organized, because I'm not missing this.

Instead of having me go to the hospital, they are sending somebody out to me for a house call :O

I get to wheel the IV rack around with me at home...awesome XD

I didn't know they even did that...news to me :O

I know I've been MIA for ages.  Things have been good and busy and different and now I live in a different country, different hemisphere and different everything.

 

Life in Toronto is exciting and cold. I'm pushing myself to be everything I wanted to be before but was too scared to be or too stuck in a rut to do. I'm taking chances and leaping without looking. I'm swallowing my fears and just doing, trying not to think too much.

 

Doesn't that sound scary but exciting at the same time?

 

It's been 2 months since I waved my family goodbye at Melbourne airport and stepped through the gates to passport control. Seven weeks since I landed in Toronto to my new life. Six weeks since I started work and routine and life.

 

I am only seven weeks old really. A baby. Learning to take my first steps and learning that falling is not that scary. Sure, you get bruised and battered but you get up again and you learn.

 

And I'm definitely learning.

 Something happened to me that made me smile and giggle. You see, one never expects to actually see one in real life. I was coming home from the local shops and it was quite late in the afternoon. In fact, it was just after dark so really it was evening. I digress, that is not important to the story at all.

 

 I was driving through the car park as one does after shopping, when I noticed there was something a little odd about the car at the end of the row I was in. You see most car's tail lights are at about the same level. Some might be a few centimetres lower or higher but for the most part they aren't all that different.

 

 I noticed that the lights on this car were very low; I mean reeeeally low. Then I noticed the colour. I saw a flash of deep, metallic orange paint and I knew this was a special car. As I pulled up level with it, I looked across and saw the sexiest little butt I've seen for a loooong time, a Lamborghini. I drove on, giggling to myself and quite excited. 

 

 One simply doesn't expect to see them in real life you know?
