Episodes @ MindSay
A couple of days ago, I had a little conversation with my sister's boyfriend about Initial:D. I asked him if he knows about it and he mentioned that he has 'em, from First Stage to Third Stage, up to and including the Battle Stage and Extra Stage. I asked if I can copy them and he was cool with it.
Just a few minutes ago, my sister called out my name while I was in my bedroom. I opened the door and my sister's boyfriend handed me a CD case full of burned CD's (seriously, it's like a 100 CD / DVD wallet). He said, "Here you go, Initial D should be in here somewhere."
"Whoa dude! What else is in here?" I inquired,And soon thereafter, he left the house with my sister.
"I don't remember, all kinds of stuff; Gundam Seed, Shaman King, I dunno, just check it out, you'll see..." he replied.
"Is it cool if I copy all of them?"
"Yeah man, take your time and check them out. Copy what you like."
So I closed my bedroom door and opened up the case. Enclosed was a 83 of CD-Rs, which means each CD should have at the most 700MB of anime. Just by the writings on the CDs, I never even heard of some of these. Here's what the case includes:
Groove Adventure Rave
(Episodes 01-51)
The Prince of Tennis
(Episodes 01-72...?)
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED
(Episodes 01-22...?)
Get Backers
(Episodes 01-19...?)
Initial:D
(1st Stage: Acts 01-26 | 2nd Stage: Acts 01-13, 3rd Stage, Battle Stage and Extra Stage)
Trigun
(Episodes 01-26)
Kiddy Grade
(Episodes 01 - 24)
Shaman King
(Episodes 01-64)
Whoever said "Anime: Crack is Cheaper" just might be mistaken, especially when you have connection.
But here's the thing, some of the anime listed here, I'm not sure if I should even copy them. If you know anything about any of these shows and you have any opinion on it whatsoever, please let me know. Which ones do you suggest that I copy or not copy?
Firsty came from my love, Uyoku!!! Thanks baby, I love you!
:: Now Watching: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED - Episode 01
:: Current Mood: Annoyed, by my co-workers who think I'm supposed to be working today... fuckers!
The thing I'm having trouble deciding is... should I just download each episode individually as I watch them or should I risk using a torrent?
Another problem is, I want to save the episodes (however I get them) onto disks in case my computer ever decides to fuck up. I'm not sure what kind of disks I would need or anything. I've never saved movies and stuff to disks before.
It also looks like some of the links to download the episodes don't work anymore. Jeez - I might just end up having to buy the collection after all. The cost isn't that big of a deal, but I fucking hate English dubs. All the voices end up sounding the same to me. Plus, I know some day DVD's will become obsolete just like VHS did.
Well I am not admitting I was wrong just yet because I do remember there being 9 stories for the Star Wars saga but I can't dispute it when I read it straight from StarWars.com and quoting from Lucas himself:
Lucas touched upon a frequently asked question: what was the imagined storyline beyond Episode VI? "To be very honest with you, I never ever thought of anything that happened beyond Episode VI," Lucas said. "It's the Darth Vader story. It starts with him being a young boy and it ends with him dying. The other books and everything kind of go off on their path, but I never ever really considered ever taking that particular story further."
Naturally, a fan solicited his thoughts on Revenge of the Sith. "It's everything I want it to be," Lucas said simply. "Of course, everyone has their own opinion about these things. Star Wars fans are especially independent. I'm very happy with all the Star Wars films. They're not really separate, they're one long movie all build up on top of each other. There are things that were placed in Episodes IV, V and VI that tie into this one, and vice versa. I'm very happy I got it finished the way I wanted it to," he concluded.
O.k., so I may be wrong. But I would swear with my hand on the bible that I knew that there were 9 stories when the movies all began.
well, last night i just couldn't do it. i took my medicine like a good girl. i was too scared of what might happen if i didn't.
