we have been in the guest room for a week now and I am getting tired of going all the way down the hall. blocking the cat and shuffling through dust to get a pair of underpants. the heating coils for the warm floor are in and the guys with earrings, shaved heads and great tattoos say I can walk on the floor in a week. but the wall behind the toilet bidet is still open, as is the whirlpool panel, so it remains a "NO ABI" zone.
my felt spheres are getting larger. I moved up to tennis ball size and am beginning to make it work with less felt. but Irene's idea that they are eggs of possibility has sent me in a new direction that might be even more interesting than geodes. each one could be a little biography or auto biography. I finished pupu lips and now I need to get to ikea for more cheap frames.
At least the banging is over in the bathroom but later today I will have to endure the sound of a tile saws as they lay the greenish slate looking tiles we selected for the floor. but from the quality of the work we are absolutely getting our money's worth and we chose the right contractor. Oh and the dressing room lights are working again. Thanks jim. he is a great guy to know love live with and sleep with. and he is very physically funny.
Now, I know a lot of you guys are talking about Imus and the German military and how much of a retard they are. But I think we all get it right?
Imus is like what? 90-ish? The dude's from a time long, long, ago (and possibly from in a galaxy far away). He grew up in a time when it was acceptable. He's old, and has a certain mind set, he's bound to say shit that's unacceptable and we can't really change that. Just yell at him, slap the dude once, pray he learned his lesson, and get it over with.
The Germans are, well, Europeans. The Europeans have had at least some racism lingering. I'm a AP European history student, and this isn't the first, and definitely won't be the last racist thing you will see. It's been dying down, which is good though. But let us focus on our own country for a sec.
