It's been over a year since i've been here.  i have occupied myself in the best way i know how, in dealing with life's stresses that have come my way.  I had believed once that I had found myself a honorable man whom i could call my husband.  turns out, it was all an illusion, one that I had to work through much bitterness when the bubble burst.  at any rate, as the seasons turn, it is not the loss of an ideal dream of a family that i am writing about now, but these days, my mind and my heart feels more and more trepidation about a bigger potential loss, and likely, in all it's chaos, a greater gain.

and that my friends, is all the prophecies of the end of the world as we know it, coming december 21, 2012, as the mayans predicted it, and according to the history channel, nostradamus, and the egyptians, and the masons, and biblical references all indicate similar time frames and similar messages.

i see so much advancement in technology and what we can buy to bring into our homes, and all the little awesome mighty cool toys we can buy, all these things blind us....it is someone's greater plan, the white nations religions would attribute it to satan, his plan.  i don't beleive in satan, or heaven and hell, fire n brimstone, an eternity of burning in hell, yadda yadda, but if that kind of belief system helps some humans become better world citizens, then good for them. 

as for myself, i do see massive change, very very quickly in the frame of time, shit, the average person didn't have motorized cars at the turn of the century, and look at us now.  think of all the stores with all the crap that we can buy, and think of all the "deals" and savings today this week, next week, yadda yadda, and then think well, shit if toys r us is having this on sale, calculate how many per store, how many stores per city, how many per province, per country, and then add all the walmarts, canadian tires, london drugs, and all the other stores with all their products, and then calculate how many earth resources went into making each single toy, and the number of resources gone into this facade of civilization is just wrong. wrong wrong wrong.  no two ways about it, no excuses, we are killing our mother.

and my part, i utilize these material things, i shop, i buy....i still don't have fancy furniture, a big screen tv, a quality brand name surround system, a ps3, xbox 360, nintendo wii, ipod, mp3 player, .....not that i don't see these things and desire them, oh, i do...there are lots of worldly desires i contend with and sometimes feel down right embittered that i do not possess such things...

i do have a cell phone, necessity pay as you go, cheap surround system, ancient 19" tv, as my old 27" finally bit the dust, or at least the remote did as the power button collapsed years ago...it was a good tv...Sharp model...i have a 02' windstar that i will be paying for another two years, and beleive me, i am in poverty, what they call the poverty line and i rent a house, pay wells fargo personal loan, my van, my insurance, my hydro, ...my food, and that is all i have to spend...but as you can see, i am not perfect, i too succumb to the excess of our society...is there hope yet?

every time i look elsewhere, i see people with big screens, plasma, lcds, ipods, etc etc, and sometimes i feel envy.  sometimes, when i feel too financially crunched, i develop a thought about making some cash unscrupulously, crime what they call it, breaking the law...stealing, but it is my greater moral code which prevents me from acting out on thoughts like that...

my moral code....like i said, i don't subscribe to religion fanaticism, but there are good teachings, the ten commandments, given to a dude who went to a mountain and fasted, passed on a message to bring to his people...that i can respect, my culture, we do the same thing, fast and pray for direction...

at this time, the next three years, i will remember that wide is the road to destruction, narrow the road to salvation, apply that biblical teaching to my own spirituality, and struggle as i might, i will do my best to keep my own road narrow, and not be blinded by all the latest bling...i will do my best to stay humble, and true to myself, my concept of God, to those who answer when i pray and call upon the Creator, Grandmothers and Grandfathers...

when my time, or when the end of the world comes, i want as clear a conscience as i can accomplish...how about you?  for I tell you my friend, it is coming and it will be here before you know it...as for me, i wish to prepare as best i can, to meet my maker with courage and strength, my creator will know that i have done my best to become....

Micro black holes

So to me it seems to boil down to this: If Stephen Hawking is correct, everything is fine and we get to try to create small black holes with no risk and further the cause of scientific study. If he is wrong we get to see what it feels like to be sucked into a black hole and spend the rest of eternity as scattered sub-atomic particles.

It is amazing to me at least (or amusing, take your pick) that the media of this country is so blatantly one-sided that it borders on propaganda...

Take for instance the two leading (at least in the eyes of the media) candidates for the office of the president. One would swear that there were only two candidates for the office. What of the other folks who have at least expressed interesting in running? Why don't they receive the coverage that the two anointed ones receive? It appears at least to me that the media has already decided for the American people who will be best as Commander-in-Chief of this land without bothering to ask the people what their opinion is...

Which brings my brain to the Pittsburgh Penguins. As some of you know the Pens are my favourite sporting team. All one hears from the media is how good the offer is from the state and the city, but deep down I have the feeling that the only reason why the latest offer is being proclaimed as the greatest of all time is to detract from the reason why it is the company that received the slot license actually received the license in the first place - waggin' the dog in the 'Burgh. Why would any city turn down an offer to build a multi-function facility in the city free of taxpayer dollars? Maybe it is have control of the facility for that is the reason why we have government - to take control of our lives so that we don't have to...

And this brings my brain around to the Iraq war. I have friends in the military or were in the military, and they paint a different picture than the one the media presents. All we see is the body counts, and yet there is more to the story than how many died on a given day. If the media we have now had been active during World War II, we would quit long before it was over. If it hadn't ended sooner, the fighting on D-Day would've been the end of it and we could've left France in German hands though this may not have been a bad thing. In the Pacific, Midway would've ended the conflict and we could've been done with the entire mess...

As I have stated a bazillion times before, I really should stop watching the news for it is no good for my soul. It is especially bad for someone for someone who questions the motives of all the crap he is fed...

Way back in the past, a generation in the country stated that one should never trust anyone over 35. They were absolutely correct though they are now the people over 35 and they expect everyone to believe what they have to say...

What is happening?

 

The world is going crazy.  All around us we see things happening that don’t make sense.  The Republicans say this, the Democrats say that.  I can go on and name a lot of other names and it is still the same.  No one has a good answer.

 

No one is asking what is the church is saying.  Well looking at the church it seems that they have as many answers as the rest of them.  It would seem that God may have an answer.  Trouble it is usually a man who give you the answer and many times it’s the answer of a man that we are given.

 

I heard the following story one time and it makes sense.  The Bible gave many predictions of the coming of Jesus the Christ.  How many?  The story went as follows.  If you could put quarters all over the world, lets say 3 feet deep and one of them was painted with red paint on one side.  All these billion and billion of quarters all over the earth so what is the probability if you landed on earth and picked up the red colored quarter on your first attempt.  About the same as all the prophecies of Jesus coming through.    So if you have a book with this kind of record it would stand that you should look at the end time prophecies that are listed in this book.

 

 

 

 

I went to a Bible College and my specialty was in Eschatology that is the study of end of time events.

The first thing I always hear is something like this.  “Everything is the same, they have been saying Jesus is coming back and He hasn’t”.  We have all heard something like this when we talk to non-believers and sadly I must say some believers.  Guess What?  That is one of the end time prophecies.  This is found in 2 Peter Chapter 3 verses 3-4.  Look this up in your Bible.  “Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming?  For sense the fathers fell asleep, all things continue on as they were from the beginning of creation.”  So every time you hear something like this rejoice, we are getting closer to the coming of the Lord.

 

Remember the odds on the Bible being right are very very good because of its past record.  Do you think you are smarter than the Bible?  There are actually those who think they are and boy are they going to be shocked when they discover they were wrong.  Some of them don’t believe God or in God.  Even the Devil believes in God.  They don’t believe God has the power or ability to have men sit down and write 66 Books of the Bible and have His meaning and thoughts come through.  Do you think all these men could have sat down and made all these predictions that have come true without God?  Duh, I don’t think so.

 

 

What about the prophecies about the last days?  What does the Bible say about them?  Is there something happening that should make you sit up and take Notice?

YES is the answer and the information I have put below will go into it.  Is there a two minute warning like they have in football?  Yes there is.  To make it simple, think about his.  Back in the Old Testament, God gave the land to the children of Israel.  Notice how after they rejected Jesus that they were kicked out and spread all over the earth.  Jesus said when you see Israel a nation again, when the people are back in their old country.  Take Notice!  Israel became a nation again on May 14^th, 1948.  You could think of that as the Two Minute Warning.  Mark Chapter 13 verses 28 through 30 tells us that this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.  May 14, 1948 and the Bible says a generation is 70 to  80 years.  May 14, 2028 will be 80 years.  So Jesus told us no man would know the day or hour of his return, only his Father in Heaven.  Matthew 16:2-4  Jesus tells us that we can discern the signs of the coming weather but we can’t read the signs of the times.  In Mark 13:37 “And what is say to you, I say to all:  Watch!”

 

What you need to do is sit down read and study some good prophecy.  Where do I find this you might ask and please look into what is available and don’t be overwhelmed.  There is a lot of garbage out there.  Here is one of the good ones.

Two weeks from today, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has implied that he will give his final answer to the U.S. about his country's nuclear program by August 22nd. Now, August 22nd also has great significance on the Islamic calendar. It's a day when Muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad road a winged horse, first to Jerusalem and then to Heaven and back.

So is it possible that Iran will flex its nuclear muscles on that date? Joining us now is FOX News military analyst Colonel David Hunt.

 

And, Colonel Hunt, do you place any significance on that date? Do we believe that Iran will take action based on the date, August 22nd?

 

COL. DAVID HUNT, FOX NEWS MILITARY ANALYST: I think Iran, Alan, has taken action for years. They've taken it with Hezbollah against Israel, they've taken it against us everyday. They've killed Americans in Iraq. So, yes, I take everything that wing nut says very seriously, whether it's the 22nd — but we've been at this World War III for a long, long time. It's time that the rest of us woke up. So high alert, I'm afraid, is going to be here for a while, and this war we're in with terrorists, like the nation — like Iran, is here to stay.

 

COLMES: I keep hearing this inflamed rhetoric, like World War III. When you say that, it implies as though the United States somehow has to be involved in a ground or air war when you say World War III. Are you suggesting that the United States is just weeks or months away from being a participant in a world war?

 

HUNT: I think we have been. I'm not talking about attacking all the nations of the world, Al. I am saying this: The War on Terror is a world war. It involves nations all other the world, like Syria, and Iran. It involves the Russian mafia, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah. It's a different type of war. It doesn't mean we have to invade all these countries. We've got a lot more killing of bad guys to do and a lot more recognition of what this about, holy war, in countries sponsoring terrorism.

 

SEAN HANNITY, CO-HOST: Hey, Colonel, welcome back to the program. It's amazing to me how many people don't understand the nature of Islamic fascism and how widespread this movement is and how they want to destroy Israel, Europe and the United States.

The Iranians we now discovered today — from the capture of one of the people responsible for the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers, Iranian trained — we now know Iran is supplying the weaponry to Hezbollah. So this really — they're using Hezbollah as a proxy for them to wage their own war, isn't that true?

 

HUNT: Yes, and they're also running Hamas. They're the ones — there's $100 million a year going into Hezbollah out of Iran. Iran, as we know, are killing American soldiers in Iraq, and they're controlling a militia. They're controlling Muqtada al-Sadr there. So they have very bad guys, and they're doing it by proxy. You're right, Hezbollah is just one of their main armies, and they're well trained and well financed.

 

HANNITY: How naive is this notion — The New York Times editorial today — that the idea that we can talk to Syria, talk to these terrorist regimes. Can you talk to Ahmadinejad? Can you talk to an Assad? Can you talk to Usama bin Laden? Can you get anywhere? Is that an...

 

HUNT: I think we can talk to them when we line them up and kill them. The only reason to talk to some of these guys is to just do that. However, we're not going to wipe out, as we talked offline, the entire country, but we have to directly talk to these guys to find out what they want. If they're not going to cooperate, yes, they have to go.

 

HANNITY: Regime change.

 

HUNT: Absolutely, 100 percent.
