The Namibian elections are slated for the 27 and 28 of November 2009. Don't see any surprises with what outcome it will be though, but.......
Ag, i don't know. Just want them to come and get over and done with voting, i know my dad will make sure i vote. whatever happened to my right to not vote?
Well I don't know about you, but I think it is absolutely wonderful that this country made history last night and elected the first Hawaiian into office as President of the United States.
So as I am sure most everyone has blogged by now, the sense of the excitement of history being made tonight is really palpable. I wasn't planning on watching the returns tonight (instead I was going to catch up on tv). But I think that in between shows I will check up. Especially since we live in a swing state. I also find it interesting that when the campaign began, the biggest issue was the war, and now the number one issue is the economy.
So may the best man win. May he successfully get us out of the hole that we are in!
I'm not going to watch the debates tonight. Truly, I've just had enough. I don't recall there ever being an election year that has appeared to drag on this long. Good grief!
I think I'm just going to rent some movies, buy some cheap wine and enjoy myself.
