Ebay Auctions @ MindSay

Well due to a breach of payment agreement ebay shafted me and took off my items due to the fact i cant accept cash payments anymore! Whoops. Well to make it worse they insist i upgraded my account to accepy methods of paypal. Well its not a total loss and hopefully our club can now get this ball rolling in the right course. Man what can be so much better then buying somthing from ebay !? Buying somthing on ebay that you get for a bargain!! :D Last night i bought some reference i can use to help my series! There 4 books altogether of this comic book series so far and they were going for about 9.99-12.00 per book. I got the winning bid ofr only 19.00+ ! So i deffently saved some X-mas money there yay! :D

 

Well reluctently its that time of year where i must head tommorow to my former home town for faimly x-mas lol so ill prepare for the long trip by packing some game boy games lol. I'll also take my dragonstrike boardgame to help entertain the kids because i know they would love it. I have no idea how long it will be thereand ect. But also  I cant wait to give my lady friend her presents when i get back. I hope she will like em. Hey Rebekah if your reading this sorry im pretty broke this year. I doubt you would want more yugioh cards from my club lol. I hope sometime i can give you guys somthing . But for what its worth i wish you and your faimly a merry chrismas. And the same for  anyone else reading this post. Hope you guys  have a great christmas too!

I left bad feedback for this guy after he cashed my check over 1 month ago. He hasn't been communicating with me. I haven't received the ipod. He said he'd send "another one" because he already sent the first one. He sent me a fake confirmation number. Basically, I've been scammed and ebay is saying they may be able to refund up to $200 if this guy is a fake. I paid $350. 

Not only that, but my "dead iPod" decided to work again. So I didn't need a new one.  This guy's deal seemed too good to be true. He said it came with 1 yr. warranty. How in the world could he give a warranty? Usually it comes with the store.

Anyway, I should have known from the beginning that expensive items on ebay aren't worth it.  Eight people have contacted me saying they have been scammed, since seeing my bad feedback. I am the only person to leave bad feedback, because he left bad feedback for me saying he sent it with delivery confirmation so why am I complaining?

He is in OHIO. Anyone want his HOME ADDRESS (just kidding)? I am also thinking about contacting the police department up there or something.  So multiply $350* 8. $2800 is the Minimum he has ripped off people. Less ebay fees.  Ebay seems to be carefree about this, and is being very slow. Then I'll have to go to my bank and get the front and back of the check, which I'm assuming they'll charge $15-$30 for this. Even then, I won't be able to get the full amount I paid for it.  Maybe if I could get his bank number I could get the charges reversed.

I really don't need this. I have been looking in the mail every day for a month and it's aggravating. I almost wish he had said "I stole your money" from the start...once he cashed it.  Just the anticipation of finding the new iPod. I hope they get this sucker. There has to be something...

Update: I contacted Alan Miller of the Dispatch, a newspaper in Ohio around the area where this seller lives and he said he'd "check it out". Either 1) he'll check it out or 2) is just trying to get me off his case. I contacted like 3 or 4 people in news. We'll see if anything comes of it.

As a certain person on Mindsay knows, I have an eBay credit card (he has made fun of me for this, nicely but still).
I just got a letter today saying that they are going to discontinue this program at the end of November.
When ebay increased their listing fees, the only reason I continued to use them to sell was because of the eBay points so really I didn't have to "pay" for it. And even though Discover offers cash back, some (antiquated) places of business only take Mastercard & Visa. So it worked for me.
Now that ebay is discontinuing their brilliant little program, I am going to cancel my eBay credit card in November.
I called up the Credit Card co. of course just to let them know in case they cared, or might change their minds. They didn't care.
This is a sad day in history for me. Can life go on?

i'm always hearing about weird "jesus on a cracker" auctions at ebay. first of all, i cant believe people would pay money for toast that you can't eat... or a house that may or may not have a ghost in it. so this : story : was kinda cool.
