Some things change ;; Some people change

Hes everything you want

Hes everything you need

Hes everything inside of you that you wish you could you

He says all the right things, at exactly the right time

But he means nothing to you and you dont know why..

wow. Ryan actually called me back. Yeah, he doesn't want me back. Okay. Fine. But just so you know Ryan, I am the better choice. You wanna know why? Cause I have a relationship with Christ. and thats IMPORTANT when your a christian. and the girl you chose over me, she doesnt have that. She doesnt pray. So yeah. One day, when you are actually close with God, you will know how important that is to be with someone that has a prayer life, that knows God in a deeper way.  But you just dont understand that. Mr. I grew up in church all my life. Yeah, well you'd think you'd want to date a girl that knows Christ personally but I guess not.

Arela told me that I need to give up and surrender cause shes like you know Andrew may possibly be the one God has for you. Eh. I know. Hes a math major, worship leader, plays so many instuments, talks about God constantly, prays for me, doesnt miss a day of church in his life, and has a passion for worship. Hmm what am i sitting here waiting for? I dont know. I dont know. I dont know. I uh i dont know. Its sad when you have a great guy infront of you but you just cant see him in that way and you just dont know why.

Anyways, My first day of work today at 3. I'm excited. I'm making chocolate.

DOES ANYBODY HEAR HER?
She is running
A hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction
She is trying
But the canyon's ever widening
In the depths of her cold heart
So she sets out on another misadventure just to find
She's another two years older
And she's three more steps behind

Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?

She is yearning
For shelter and affection
That she never found at home
She is searching
For a hero to ride in
To ride in and save the day
And in walks her prince charming
And he knows just what to say
Momentary lapse of reason
And she gives herself away

Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?

If judgment looms under every steeple
If lofty glances from lofty people
Can't see past her scarlet letter
And we've never even met her

If judgment looms under every steeple
If lofty glances from lofty people
Can't see past her scarlet letter
And we've never even met her

Never even met her

Does anybody hear her? Does anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me

Does anybody hear her? Does anybody see?
Does anybody even know she's going down today?
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her? Does anybody see?

He is running a hundred miles an hour in the wrong

2007 - A Year we can Scratch Off
M y year of 2007 brought forth many incidents, obstacles, challenges and of course ... bills. I definitely stayed busy working most of the time with very little time off .. sound familiar? I really can't complain, at least I am still employed and able to bring in some income. I really can't say that my article here is all about me .. I kind of snuck in some other issues, Americans and people as this article will surely show, I remember reading many articles and observing numerous speeches from the white house that our economy was in great shape. Most things I seen then were billions of dollars being spent for the Iraq war relief and rebuilding, money spent for making Iraq a Democracy .. that's a giant joke, while people by the thousands here were getting laid off, tons of money spent on political campaigns and candidates, political pay-raises, several people living around me that were and still are presently unemployed or in debt beyond their means or any chance in caging their financial monsters, while some big businesses were filing for Government grants or loans, and so forth.

Yes, it seemed that 2007 was really going well .. for some people. If an American was listening to the media, the situation in Iraq was not going so well, suicide bombers and IED detonations, killing hundreds of our men and women in uniform and soldiers from coalition forces. Yet, we would get a moral speech that nothing great happens without sacrifice .. who's? Our soldiers of course. Anyone see or hear about any politicians getting shot, kidnapped, or bombed by IED devices? See or hear about any blood spilt on their part? Don't remember seeing or hearing about it if it did happen.

I remember of the shake up in congress .. how Nancy Pelosi was going to pass new laws to better America, like demanding that auto industries build better vehicles that can get 32 or 37 miles to the gallon ... WOW, what a decision ... what about just fixing the oil prices and lowering them .. go after the big oil tycoons and make them bring that price down a few notches Nancy. Well, that would be going too far and would probably place her on some assassin's hit list funded by ... you guessed it .. some unknown oil executive or person in charge that takes care of people who try to mess with the oil world.

Nancy Jihad Pelosi also tried to become an ambassador of good will by visiting leaders in foreign countries like Syria and others ... I believe that ambassador position is already filled, that Nancy is suppose to take care of Congress as House Speaker ... don't hear much from Nancy anymore. Oh before I forget, how did she amend the laws she and her cronies broke? Who authorized that? Ah, we will just move forward here with that incident and chalk it off as another blunder in politics. That seems to be the political answer to everything anymore .. 'let's move on here' a favorite Clinton quote when something is wrong on the big hill or when caught in the political cookie jar. I'm just as sure that our own President Bush has a few skeletons in his closet too.

We spent a load of money for foreign country disasters in relief funds and supplies ... and found out later that some of the countries were using their relief money to finance terrorism or to purchase weapons and equipment instead of feeding their people. What did we do when finding that out? Still waiting .....

We had some bad weather conditions throughout the country that was of course blamed on Global warming, climate changes or solar radiation, anything that some people could use to generate a cause or more money from the events.

New congress proposals in changing tax laws and controlling the Internet .. to charge Americans using email ... Americans are already charged for using email through their Internet providers, DUH. Then congress wants to pass a law that does not allow anyone to speak freely about bad things or in exposing political lies over the Internet ... how convenient ... that way your average American can never find out the truth about anyone or anything on the big hill. I believe these proposal ideas are still very much alive in the congress ... just waiting for the approval. Scary .. you mean I can't talk about Nancy Jihad Pelosi, Hillary 'lips that lie' Clinton, Ted 'the guy always painting his kettle black 'Kennedy, Bill 'let's get past this' Clinton? Just to name a few.

Why hell, that would be anti-American to say such things about such liberal figures of the spotlight. Well, I'm 100% American and I'm saying it here. I am so scared. They make me scared as hell where America is concerned .. and so do a lot of others on that big hill these days. There I go again, raving on politicians and politics. You see, 2007 has just about been nothing but politics, campaigns, and vote for me as your 'next President' type issues.

I can't seem to remember anything significant that our congress accomplished for 2007, can any of you? I know they took a bunch of days off like most years prior ... and that they are proposing a three day work week.... that's cool ... I'd like to work only three days with week-ends off .. wouldn't you? Back to the question again, what have they done that is so tiring? Hello?

I just thought I'd share my two cents about that great year 2007. I'm sure that there will be some readers here who will not agree with my article here, or will attempt to defend certain people or aspects of this article, but that's ok, because you have that right and that's the way you feel about certain things, I understand that. This article was written to express how I feel or felt, and that I'm the one who wrote this fine article. One thing I am thankful for .. that nobody new has been elected yet ... I still have some time to remain an American with a country. I pray 2008, for America's sake .. is a better year.

Does Crime Pay?
S ome people seem to get away with their crimes .. and some do now and then ... but those who do not get away pay the price in many ways. It starts with being arrested and transported to jail. Now Their problems really begin with the loss of their job, financial problems begin, losing their boyfriend or girlfriend, spouse, children and any respect that others may have had for them at one time after being incarcerated for a long-period of time.

They are subjected to new rules and regulations and lose certain freedoms they once had, they are subjected to assault or lockdowns, loss of privileges, limited rights, and are limited in moving around and sometimes even bed space. Going to jail is also very dangerous. There are no guarantees that a prisoner will be safe during their stay. It is a shame that all criminals are not caught and subjected to the punishment, penalties that a court of law may give them for the crimes they committed.

If a person does the crime, they need to do the time. Is it worth the risk of losing everything?
Our laws should never slack from giving the guilty exactly what they deserve ... depending on the crime committed, and if the crime is murder, it means death by lethal injection, Gas, electric chair, firing squad, hanging ... so be it, that is the law of the land. What choice did the victim(s) murdered have?

spring-winter marriage

This is one for the books. Maybe two, three, four, five books. I don't know. But listen. In the northeastern state of Terenganu, Malaysia, the Associated Press reports of a wedding between a 33-year old man and - hold your breath - a 104-year old woman. You read it right: The woman is 104 years old.

According to the man, Muhamad Nor Che Musa, it was not love at first sight. Mutual respect and friendship did it. "I am not after her money as she is poor," Mohamad emphatically explained. It's his first marriage but for his wife, Wook Kondor, it was - you can hold your breath again if you want to - her 21st trip to the marriage altar.

Excuse me while I take a whiff of smelling salts.

This is the kind of news that excites mixed reactions and emotions among people. Concerned parents will be ever watchful of the girl their son is dating. Grandmothers half the age of Mrs. Muhamad will be scandalized over this marital derring-do. Old maids approaching their 40's, will despair and be depressed, and feel cheated by fate because somebody who, they feel, came from  dinosaur country, landed a prince charming; all their lives were spent pining and praying for a son-in-law for their moms. No luck thus far.

      Yes, where is justice?

A problem however. When it's Mrs. Muhamad's birthday, how big a cake must it be to hold, say, 105 candles, 106 candles, 110 candles or for as long as Mrs. Muhamad has a birthday to celebrate? And woe to Mr. Muhamad if he forgets Mrs. Muhamad's birthday or their wedding anniversary.

And what happens if any one of Mrs. Muhamad's 21 husbands turns up at Mr. Muhamad's doorstep (assuming some, if not all, are still alive) to wish him well. If Mr. Muhamad happens to answer the door, should he announce the occasion by calling out to Mrs. Muhamad saying, "Honey, guess what? One of your X's is here"?
