Dear Diary

Alright. So i keep a journal (and i do not mean a website or blog) I mean the old fashion ones with paper and pen.
People tend to think of this as obsolete  (i have had friends tell me this in an inderect way)  in a society full of technology, but I would rather keep one that is tangible (since I am tactile). Also, what if for some reason, like it happened not too long ago, electronics ceased to work for, lets say, a natural disaster? Then what? During the hurricane Ike I recorded everything, even what was heard in the radio station.

See, I for one grew up writing my thoughts since I've always been a rather quite gal. Of course they are not for the public to read, at least when I'm alive, but they are a great memory or recording of how much has change throughout my life.

Alright now, don't want to get too personal. But to all those who believe it to be obsolete or "feminine" or touchy feely, it really is not. Now I'm not sure why I'm writing about this. This was a random entry, just wanted to type something i guess. Knowing me, I'll probably have more to say after i post this...i hate when i do that...oh well, don't wan't to edit all my entrys hehe.
Anyways, I'm going to my trusted diary, or journal if you will hehe. Night!

Ps. Typed in "Diary" and found this site, pretty cool i guess...http://www.my-diary.org/

Oh not to mention, history was recorded in journals right? For example, Annie Frank. Good book too^_^ Quite the inspiration. In fact, she is who inspired me to write, even if was or is nonsence.

But hey i found this journal in Barnes and Noble and am planning to purchase it as soon as i finish this one that i am working on right now. >.^....wait just looked for it....IT'S NOT THERE!!! :( :( I must search for it now! Of course it's not about the fashion of the book,  but I have a weekness for sofcover, brown leather journals hehe. Something like this...ohh yeah.

Hurray for Diarys, i mean Journals!

Lesson to be Learned
My new slave was doing so well till last week.  I knew punishment was in order, but it became obvious that that was what he desired when he continued to do things obviously wrong.

He first didn't call or email when leaving town, so he missed our scheduled day and time.  He next didn't bring what i had ordered for lunch, but had instead brought something completely different.  Then when he finally arrove it was an hour late with no call, and when I called, he had cut off the ringer till he was there.

Now why is it that these boys don't grasp that punishment doesn't necessarily mean spanking.  It means a consequence of action dictated by those in authority which is given in a way so unpleasant as to discourage one from ever making the same mistake twice.

As a sadist I find no pleasure in administering punishment.  I find causing pain a bore and sometimes even an annoyance when it is required rather than done because it merely pleases Me.  I do not give punishment when enraged, nor do I yell.  I think such things are a sign of a Dominants lack of self control, and therefore an opening to be manipulated easily by their emotions and ego... and some bottoms are not really submissive so they often delight in provoking Dommes in this state.

In punishment there is no consensual negotiation.  In punishment there are no safe words.  In punishment there is no compassion in the act, and no warming up.  Any compassion afterwards is to the discretion of those administering or sentencing the punished slave.

Up until this point, he was a very good boy.  He had been good beyond that of most I have met seeking to be My slave.  I did take this into consideration and though I used My favorite and most brutal paddle, I did not lay into him with the true might of My naturally heavy hand.  I also didn't give more than 100 strokes.  Regardless his ass was deeply marked by the light lacquered pine paddle with in the first strike.

That paddle is so light it flies with no effort so when I desire to, I can paddle non-stop for an hour with out tiring.  It is so slick and light that I knew I had to gag hi before we started because the screams would have been loud, and we already were going to be too noisy with each swooping "whack".

When done his ass was solidly colored very dark and the flesh was swollen and thick.  I now won't be able to use him in shoots till he has returned to normal, so his usefulness will be limited for the time being... though I will be seeing him tomorrow to follow up on how he is doing after today.  Till then I will be playing with others who had been waiting for a chance.

STUDY SHOWS FOOD DIARY WORKS
MY HUBBY AND I WAS ON THE ATKINS DIET A FEW YEARS AGO, HE LOST 120 LBS. AND I LOST 95LBS. WE WERE ON THIS DIET FOR 2 YEARS, AND I KEPT A FOOD DIARY EVERY DAY  WITH THE DIET AND  WITH THE DIARY WE LOST WEIGHT, WE GOT OFF THAT DIET, I STOPPED THE DIARY AND WE SWIFTLY GAINED HALF OF IT BACK, SO NOW WE ARE TRYING ANOTHER DIET ONE THAT WE CAN LIVE WITH ALL THE TIME AND I THINK I WILL START A FOOD DIARY TOMORROW AND SEE IF WE DON'T GET BETTER RESULTS, WHEN WE GOT OFF THE ATKINS WE TRIED LOW CAL,CARB AND FAT DIET WITHOUT THE FOOD DIARY AND THAT IS WHERE WE GAINED ALL THE WEIGTH SO MAYBE THE SUCCESS WAS NOT THE DIET ITSELF BUT THE DIARY. SO FAR ON MY HEALTHY DIET FOR LIFE PLAN I HAVE LOST ABOUT 8 LBS IN 3 WEEKS, BUT I THINK THAT THERE IS SOME MERIT IN THE FOOD DIARY, BECAUSE IT KEEPS YOU AWARE OF WHAT  AND HOW MUCH YOU ARE EATING AND IT KEEPS YOU HONEST, IT IS SO EASY TO JUST FORGET THAT HANDFUL OF NUTS AND M & M'S THAT YOU SLIPPED IN YOUR MOUTH, I KNOW WHEN I WAS KEEPING TRACK I KEPT TRACK OF EVERYTHING I PUT IN MY MOUTH, (FOOD AND DRINK THAT IS :) ) SO HERE I GO A GAIN.

Study shows value of food diary in losing weight

By Will Dunham Tue Jul 8, 3:25 AM ET

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Keeping a food diary -- a detailed account of what you eat and drink and the calories it packs -- is a powerful tool in helping people lose weight, U.S. researchers said on Tuesday. The study involving 1,685 middle-aged men and women over six months found those who kept such a diary just about every day lost about twice as much weight as those who did not.

The findings buttressed earlier research that endorsed the value of food diaries in helping people lose weight. Companies including Weight Watchers International Inc use food diaries in their weight-loss programs.

"For those who are working on weight loss, just writing down everything you eat is a pretty powerful technique," Victor Stevens of Kaiser Permanente's Center for Health Research in Portland said in a telephone interview.

"It helps the participants see where the extra calories are coming from, and then develop more specific plans to deal with those situations," said Stevens, who helped lead the study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.

The technique also helps hold dieters accountable for what they are eating, Stevens said.

The study involved people from four U.S. cities: Portland, Oregon; Baltimore, Maryland; Durham, North Carolina; and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Their average weight loss was about 13 pounds (6 kg). But those keeping food diaries six or seven days a week lost about 18 pounds (8 kg) compared to 9 pounds (4 kg) for those not regularly keeping a food diary.

The average age of people in the study was 55.

They were asked to eat less fat, more vegetables, fruit and whole grains, exercise 180 minutes a week mostly by walking, attend group meetings, and keep a detailed food diary.

Blacks made up 44 percent of the people in the study. The researchers noted that blacks Americans have a higher risk than whites for conditions linked to obesity including type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

"Keeping a food diary doesn't have to be a formal thing. Just the act of scribbling down what you eat on a Post-It note, sending yourself e-mails tallying each meal or sending yourself a text message will suffice," Dr. Keith Bachman, another Kaiser Permanente expert, said in a statement.
