Well, would you look at what I found... A blog entry telling me straight up, and straight off that Dixie doesn't want to be mentioned within this blog again. Apparently, she doesn't miss me either. Whatever. That's good.

I will say that she will get what she wants. She will no longer be mentioned within this blog. ...But she's now getting worse. She wants me to stop bringing her up? ...Very well.

She will no officially be removed from EVERY friend list and BLOCKED from every website that I have accounts on. Easily done, right? And hey, she totally gets what she wants.
Not only that, but if anything gets pushed any further, I'm going to delete and destroy ANYTHING she's ever given me. But we'll see if I can sit back and let things ease by... Somehow, I really doubt that.

...But she's not going to win in the long run. Make a note to yourself.... Never, EVER push me too far.

Well, Dixie, you're getting what you wanted. And so much more... That, maybe... You DIDN'T want.

Been talking to my cousin in Mississippi. They evacuated on Sunday,August 31 2008. They live in Pass Christian, and my Aunt in Long Beach. 
Lynn said 13 feet of water in Pass Christian.They just finished their house after Katrina and losing everything in it. They did build up though! 18 feet in the air! Hope the surge is over. 5 more feet and it will be in their house. Right now just storage room on bottom level in water. House safe right now. Still has the door intact. Whew! They traveled 2 hours northward to escape. Haven't heard any news about Long Beach area where my Aunt bought a house. She still owns the concrete slab where her house was before Katrina. She did not rebuild in same place. Could stand in her driveway and see the Gulf. She lived Very close.
Keeping my prayers flowing for them!

If you live in Nebraska, you're getting fucked at the pump.  Assholes at the gas stations are posting prices for $3.75 a gallon, then charging $4.16 a gallon at the pump, except for one or two pumps.  The Attorney General tried to stop it once, but didn't do shit enough to stop it for good.

If you live in Nebraska, only pay the amount for what is posted as you're driving up.  Don't let the attendant give you any shit- don't pay at the pump or you're screwed.  Pay cash and bitch them out, then complain to the Attorney General that he didn't do enough the first time around.

What is permanent?

I think music is permanent. At least, to a great extent. You can't really destroy music. You can erase a tape, delete a song, or just not listen to it, or forget about it, but it is never truly gone. Unless of course every recording ever made of it is lost or erased, and all of the people who made it or dead, but still there might always be someone who will remember it, and will be there to play it. But for the most part, I believe music is pretty well permanent. And I like that. I don't think there are many things that are really permanent. A photograph can get destroyed, as well as the copies, and it might not be capable of reproduction. And as far as I've been thinking, the only other thing that is permanent seems to be the damage we've done to this poor planet... >.>

What are your thoughts? What is permanent? What does permanent mean? Is anything really ever permanent? Do you think music is permanent, if so, anything else? If not, what is?
