So, I have a cellphone.  Got one when I went off to college.  I think it's a useful tool.  I really do.  However, I am NOT obsessed with it.  I don't need all of these features - I was really upset when I had to get a new phone in June and they ONLY had camera phones...who needs that?  I have a camera and a walkman and in theory a gameboy for those reasons.  I usually have my phone OFF.  I'll make a call, sometimes leave it on when I get home at 8:30 until I get ready for bed/11pm, but otherwise, good luck trying to call.  I don't know anyone who needs me so desperately that they eeeeeeever try to call, and I can survive until after dinner to get the text message saying, "hey, wanna hang out Saturday?" 

 

Well, this afternoon, from like 3 onwards, I've had my phone on.  And today was the day people have been calling.  Dan has called TWICE regarding homework, Roaine called to stop by and borrow my boardmaker,  a woman called about me babysitting next year, Lisa called to say I could come over and watch Gilmore Girls, and most importantly, Jeff called to say that if I was still interested in working at camp, he was still interested in hiring me.  I called them on Friday to make sure, 'cause it's been a while since my mom mailed me the forms, but I sent it yesterday for good measure, and Jeff called about an hour ago, and BAM I have a summer job <33.

 

I guess in a few minutes I should call Joanne and tell her that she is amazing and her apartment is gorgeous but I'm not going to take it.  Mannnn that makes me depressed.

 

But I'll bounce back quickly, because I am going to NEST on Wednesday before a JOB INTERVIEW AT A SCHOOL, and I am soooooooo excited to go to NEST and see my old babies and play with Julie and Andy and Sophie and Stacey and Dafni and the kids and all those other people.  I am so excited - Julie and Jonathan have been engaged for TWO MONTHS and I get to see them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well trick and or treating was pretty fun. For being 15 I was surprised that they actually gave me candy. But here I am after a night of candy raiding with nothing to do and no where to go but sitting around. At school today they had a bomb threat, it is my first year as a sophmore at Brockport as I spent my Freshman year with a bunch of jerks at Aquinas. Last year I was told they had abut 8 or 10 bomb threats at Brockport Highschool but it was just some crazy kid calling it in or something. What happens is we evacuate and get onto busses and sit for about 10 minutes and then go for a 10 minunte ride and return to school on hopes they found or didn't find anything. Good waste of a quarter of class I guess.

I finished making my streaming site for my mp3 collection. It's really cool 'cause its able to handle multiple streams(so my friends can make their own playlists) and people can upload music to it.

 I used bitchassholla and apache on my linux box. It's currently running icecast and has ices0 to handle the streaming. rachael(friend of mine) says there is a 40 second lag. but thats ok.

ya so to watch daria (AWSOME SHOW) I have to wait until 3 AM. DAMNIT school is going to be a pain in the ass if I watch daria. good thing I'm downloading seasons 1-5 right now ;)
