Cycling @ MindSay
Seriously. Go get a calandar, for those who know me, and mark it on the calandar that I apologized to Randy last evening. I am honing in on my time of the month. I don't get bitchy or extermely moody during my time. On my cycle, I get tired and crabby but not bitcy. The week to two weeks before my cycle I get down right nasty bitchy. Worse then I ever am normally. Well we can tell I am in that week or two weeks now.:D
I snapped for absolutly NO REASON on Randy and the kids yesterday afternoon. As anyone knows with kids, you can clean and clean and clean your house and NEVER will it look cleaned. You can wash and wash clothes and NEVER be done with laundry. And I looked around my house yesterday and said FUCK IT! I was soooooooo tired of cooking and cleaning. Definatally got full on Spring Fever now. Yay that is my excuse!
Picked hte kids up from school and lectured them on the fact I am tired of cooking and cleaning for their ungrateful asses. The kids must have known I was getting close to snapping because no smart ass remarks and they did minor things for me when we got home. Before we left for CCD class last night (I had a stupid parent meeting while they were in class-that put me in a BAD MOOD just thinking of dealin with one of the nuns and some die hard catholic parents) I called Randy and point blank said his ass was leaving work somewhat early tonight because I had it with cooking and cleaning. Basically snapped at the poor man for no reason what so ever.
Put him in a nasty mood himself:D My work was done really. But when I walked in from CCD class with the kids, Randy had my kitchen cleaned back up, the dinning room, and living room pretty much done, and a load of laundry going! Not to mention, instead of making a meat loaf or burgers like I told him to wiht the burger in the fridge, Randy went out and got a package of steaks, a package of herbed garlic taters, and a package of green beans and some of my smoked bacon to chopp up and put in the greenbeans with butter! You know that put me in a good mood and got me all horny! And if you didn't read my one blog about what makes a woman horny go back and find it and you will realize why it made me horny to see a clean house, and a man in the kitchen!:D
I decieded that I did snap on the poor defenseless man for no reason and it really wasn't his fault that I have Spring Fever so I said sorry. He stopped in the middle of chopping up the onions and shrooms to saute for hte steaks and asked me if I had a fever. I shockeded him. I apologize grudingly for things I know I was in the wrong about but never about the whole household shit!
After that we had a good evening, Randy took over with the kids and DeLaney got spanked for the first time in about 6 months for being a lil pig. When Randy cleaned out the living room he found tons of her shit she was stashing behind my couch and has heard me constantly telling her to get out of my living room. Then the kids went upstairs cleaned their rooms and procedded to use their new prank book and set up tons of pranks. Randy stayed up longer than 8:30 since he has today and Friday off. I am letting him sleep in. Mark that on the calandar also. Usually on his days off in the middle of the week, I make the man take the kids to school. I am being a nice wife again. I figure he can take the kids to school on Friday!:D
Melbourne Cup
I didn't go to the races, but I watched them on TV at home, I bid $2 on each horse I picked...
Mahler (if I spelled that right)
Blue Monday
Princess Coup
Black Tom
Thought someone should support Black Tom even with the 201 to 1 odds.
I'm glad I didn't bid more money because only Mahler placed.
Afterwards went cycling with Dad and my hands are so sore I'm typing slowly.
I'm also going to be sitting down for ages because my knees are quite wobbly after the ride. I use sports tape on both knees (even though it's only one that's bust), but I'm so unfit, lol.
Probably only went out for half an hour, but I we're going cycling for an hour next time. Mmmm... should take a bit of time to get that kind of strength lol.
A lot has been said about Floyd Landis's recent drug test results. And Landis himself has been doing much of the talking. In my opinion, this can't be a good thing. He's just drawing attention to it instead of just letting it blow over. If he is in fact "clean" and didn't take anything to increase his testosterone, then I can understand how he'd want to clear his name. But I don't see how all the interviews could've helped. He was on the "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno earlier this week, and he's given interviews on all four major network morning shows. Way too much publicity! Just issue a statement, and then shut up for awhile and see if things can get cleared up.
I can't help it. It's just how I feel.
I want to be outside right now, not cooped up in my present location (which, for the record, is not prison, though some might argue that yes, it is).
As soon as I fly this proverbial coop, I'm going to go for a walk to the library where I have a new book waiting on hold. From there, it's a walk back to my bike, which I'll hop on and take a circuitous journey homeward for a home-prepped lunch. And then, I'm thinking of taking another walk or bike ride to a lakeside location where I'll curl up with a book and read awhile.
Dreams like that are enough to make me...
Yeah. Even more stir crazy.
But guess what, people. I know another cure for the stir crazies. WTF Radio. Listen. Tonight @ 9PM Central. If you don't believe me, look it up. And then Listen. Ensemble cast of some of the coolest Mindsayliens on the planet. One even has Super Powers (of the Cherry Pickin' variety). All are on a mission. To laugh. To make you laugh. To laugh with you. To laugh at you.
Ah well...back to my cell which isn't one. Go ahead, say it. He's Stir Crazy, with emphasis on the Crazy.
I never claimed to dish it out in equal portions, people.
Enjoy your weekends, everyone!

Yes, it's that time of the year again. It's the classic cycle routes again. Remember I updated a year ago I screamed: "Go, go, go" to Michael Boogerd, that Danilo di Luca won? Well, today it was that same race again. It's the Amstel Gold Race. The only real proffesional one-day-race we have we here in Holland. Ofcourse we have the Eneco Benelux Tour. That's a bit the same like the Tour, the Vuelta and the Giro. Only smaller. But it doesn't only go trough the Netherlands also trough Belgium and Luxemburg. At least it should be going trough Luxemburg, but it doesn't. And we have the teams-time-trail in Eindhoven. But that is new. And so the Amstel Gold Race is only real cycling race we have. And big names won there. Alexandre Vinokourov, Michael Boogerd, Bjarne Riis etc. Lance Armstrong became second once. So it's pretty good. And yes today was it again. But I didn't scream today. No, Franck Schleck had sprung away like 13 km in front of the finish. And then Steffen Wesemann sprung away in 3 km in front of the finish. So Schleck number 1 and Wesemann number 2. And Boogerd. He could have won today. He became 3rd. But just because the people didn't want to spring away, because they were afraid of each other. And it was clear that Boogerd would become 3rd, cause he was in a lot in front when they finished.
I did some good bussiness for my "Director Sportive". That's a sort of game in which you have to get 10 cyclers and that's your 'team'. And they score points for you, the entire year. And during all the races I already got at least one cyclers on the podium. With exception of Gent-Welvegem. My 10 cyclers are:
1. Tom Boonen
2. Paolo Bettini
3. Filippo Pozatto
4. Robbie McEwen
5. Juan Antonio Flecha
6. Michael Boogerd
7. Michael Rogers
8. Stefan Schumacher
9. Ivan Basso
10. Alejandro Valverde
And in the races?
Milan-San Remo won by Pozatto
Tour des Flandres won by Boonen
Paris-Roubaix won by Cancelera (but Boonen became 2nd)
Amstel Gold Race won by Franck Schleck (but Boogerd became 3rd)
So for now I am doing pretty good. I am counting on Basso for de Giro and the Tour. And Valverde is my card for the Vuelta and I am hoping for a good Tour for him.
But good the Amstel Gold was today. Personally I like the Amstel Gold more then others it has some good hills in the end. And that makes it pretty exciting. Like today. The moment when Schleck sprung away was on a hill. And also Wegemann sprung away on a hill. And the deciding move from Boogerd? On a hill too. The finish is on top of a hill. Only poor Boogerd. Poor poor Boogerd. Again 3rd. Again on the podium. But again no winner. I surely hope he wins it again or at least another race then. He deserves it. He's one of the better current drivers. For a single-day-course then. Of the not-sprinters (Boonen is a sprinter) he's the 2nd best I think. The 1st best? Bettini. No-one can beat a Bettini at his best. But Bettini didn't win the Amstel Gold tough. Boogerd should...and soon. He's planning the end of his carreer. Maybe not next year. But it's coming soon. And he deserves another Amstel Gold Race on his CV.
