Cute @ MindSay

S T R E S S
I feel as if all my neglect of what needed to be done last week is finally catching up to me. There is some serious damage control going on here.

My American Lit class is a mess. I was suppose to do an online discussion thing today, but my password and username kept showing invalid. All I could do was send my professor my response and question and beg for mercy.

Not only that, but I have no idea where class is being held for Native American Lit and I just now got around to sending my professor an email. Hopefully she has a tick that compels her to check her email every ten minutes, otherwise I am screwed.

I must read the entire book of Bless Me, Ultima tonight and write a paragraph analysis based on my reading and my FASFA is going to take forever to get to the university.

 Kill. Me. Now.

On a brighter note, the cute neighbor boy waved to me today. He was getting into his truck to attend his classes while I was getting out of my Yaris. He had a beanie on. It was super adorable...Although I am still set on detaching.

Detach. Detach. Detach.

I Know This Should Be the FURTHEST Thing From My Mind...
...but the sub filling in for Kathleen today while she's snowed-in in Boston is

R E A L L Y  C U T E .

I mean, ridiculously goodlooking (Zoolander? Anyone?)

David.   His name is David.

And he's really cute.

And that made my good day (so far) a little brighter.

Blog #292
Bungaslow Events! :D

As my drunken blog did state, today we took a trip to Ash's BUNGASLOW. :D
It's like a one-storey house that moves at 2 miles per hour. :)

Oh, I have to make that a tradition. Every time I come back from somewhere drunk, I need to try and document it. It's so funny reading them over and decoding them when you're sober again.

Tracey was reading them - which I didn't mind - but she was reading them out loud. Most of the time it was funny - just when she read lines like "I like pussy so that makes me a lesbian" - I was just like OMGSHUTUPREALLY. :/

Ash and I didn't think that Shelly would actually end up coming, because it did get to around half 1 and there was still no sign of her - even after attempting to ring her mobile - but she did end up coming, and with her, bearing a bag of cakes and stuff left over from last night's party.

We spent the majority of the day in Ash's room, mooching through my planned script ideas I'd brought along on my memory stick. I was even wearing my newly-transferred RCP logo T-shirt. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Halloween costume came in the post today. I just had to take it along with me to see what they all thought. Naturally, it lead to everyone trying on the mask and the headpiece. :)
It's an evil jester - a half-black, half black-and-white-chequered suit with a silly jester's hat, skull trims and a skull mask. It's sooooo epic. :D

And thankfully, due to the price of it - we're not going to just use it for Halloween - we're planning on using it for some of our future music videos. It ought to work well.

We told Tracey of our problem with obtaining a dress for Ash - in effect, I told her last night when I was drunk - and she's agreed to make one for us. A pink and white gingham one, by the sounds of things. :)
I just can't imagine Ash in a dress. Imagine it with pink and white striped socks too - oh my word. :)

We're proper making her paranoid, we're not telling her what we keep talking in code about. :)
Then Tracey put her hair in plaits - oh it was SOOOO cute. :D
Ash didn't seem amused about it like - but she's SO having her hair like that for the Spieluhr video. It would go so well.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We played a combination of Guitar Hero 5, Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits and Guitar Hero: World Tour.
Alternation on vocals - we even got Ash to do a few - as a penalty for losing a pro-face-off against Shelly, of course. Ash's skill has really decreased lately...

We played my custom Saria's Song, and we got this really weird screenshot.
I was playing on Expert bass and I don't think I missed any, but look at the score. It says 128%!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And a photo of me with two jelly shoes up my nose.
I made the "my nose is running" joke, naturally...

And a creepy yet oddly cute photo of Ash with some wacky red-eye. :D

Moving Right Along
Some updates from my little corner of the universe:

- I have now met 2 of my 8 students.  Li  and M. Guess I'll have to get used to the new abbreviations; I'm going to have another D, but I think I'll call him D(M) since his real name starts with an M but is being changed to D.  And I'm going to have another A, but I won't call him that, since I've already had an A.  That abbrev is already claimed in my heart.  Either way, they were both really cute and sweet, and I know, honeymoon period, but if I can grab everyone before it gets bad, I have a shot at a good year.  Not perfect, will always have some issues (they're in my class because they can't yet navigate a typical classroom), but a good, controlled-ish year.

- My room is starting to come together.  The bookshelf has dried, and though yesterday's paint color was greyer than the day before's, it dried to be the same.  WOO.  Not the world's greatest paint job, but I'm satisfied.  Setting up my rug area, realized I could have a second, now must go buy another rug.  Sucks in that respect, but once I have it ... yay another rug! And another space kids can go to!

- I move into my apartment (technically) in less than one week.

- I loooove the custodial crew at my school.  The female, Milly, isn't overly friendly (but she's also probably not loving the fact that she's doing so much work), and I haven't seen Mike in a few days, and Ed, the big guy on campus (he's clearly the boss) is mega-busy and only gets to deal with me when I want/need something/to have something taken away... so I guess really, I love Mark and Dylan.  They're just fun and hilarious.  I had a bit of a faux pas today when I thought Dylan was 17 years old and just helping out for the summer and he's not.  He's actually 25 and working there full time (though going on vaca for a month first).  So Oops, he's actually 7-8 years older than that.  But it's also kinda good because ... he's very cute.  Now I'm allowed to think that without having to get registered on some kind of Sex Offenders list :-P.
