Steve Irwin changed the world.
He was an icon of everything Australian and the most passionate man you could ever see.
He was a fighter, a hero, a conservationist and a man of great character.
He achieved so much, and touched so many.
Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter...
You will always be remembered.
We'll miss ya mate.
My heart goes out to his family, Terri and Bindi, Bob and Bob.
Australia, and the world, share your loss.
My heart goes out to the animals and wildlife of the world... Hopefully now...
Now, after everything this man did for you, perhaps the world will be a better place.
Now that you have lost someone who was so passionate about his work.
His passion and love for animals has touched the world...
Hopefully that passion, that part of Steve that touched us, will linger.
Hopefully everyone that he touched, will remember.
And the world will be a better place for it.
Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter, Wildlife Warriror.
Always remembered... Never forgotten...
Crikey mate... We'll miss ya.
He touched the world with his passion, joy and the love of his work.
He changed the world with his commitment and dedication.
He achieved so much and touched so many...
A hero in his own right, and a hero in my eyes.
I'll never forget him... Ever.
Croc's rule!
I also think that fucker had it coming to him. Honestly, we all knew he would die from this crazy shit some day. "I'm really too close to this animal!!!" No, move a few inches closer. It won't sting you. But if it does, that's no problem either! Supposedly, after Stevo was stung, he forcefully ripped the barb from his chest, increasing the rate at which the poison spread through his blood. I bet he thought that was a bold move. "If I just pull the fracker right out, I'll be a-okay dontcha think?" Sorry Stevers. They say that if he had left it in, he would have lived. You would THINK that if this man knew so much about animals, he would have been smart enough to leave it in. But no.
But, this poses an interesting question. Let's suppose Steve The Man knew what he was doing in pulling it out. Let's say he was accomplishing his mission: FAKING HIS OWN DEATH. That's right, we've probably been fooled all along. Steve is really alive, along with Elvis and John Lennon. Steve is laughing at all this publicity in some islands in the Torrid Zone, sipping a martini and enjoying not having to do those stupid boring TV shows anymore.
Or maybe it was Steve Irwin's stunt double that got stung. Either way, he will be sorely missed. RIP Stevo.
R.I.P Steve Irwan - that guy was too cool to have died so young. I want revenge on that Sting Ray!
How was everyone's Labor Dabor Day? Mine was ok I just slept in way way late and then goofed off all day and then worked on getting rid of the overgrown weeds in my backyard.
On Saturday I went out for dinner with my Uncle Ray and Aunt Rita. We just went out and had some burgers and a few beers. It was nice I hadn't seen them in about a month (which is sad because they only live like five blocks from me)
Sunday I went to church which I don't do often enough. I found it interesting that the opening hymn was "My country 'tis of thee". Sure it's Labor Day but aren't we supossed to be worshiping God or Jesus or soemone like that? Why are we singing a nationalistic song? Wouldn't "God bless America" be more appropriate? This is another example of why I think the Catholic Church is just a little screwed up.
I just got my hair cut a little while ago. The barber did a nice job but he charges a bit too much. Also, I don't like getting hair cuts because it reminds me that I have a hair line that is slowly going away. AHHH I'm going bald!!
Thanks for Reading,

Most start off very sweetly, People posting how sad they are, how they feel for his wife and children or even children posting that Irwin was their idol. It was great to see so many people who enjoyed all things Crocodile Hunter.
As many other forum/comment viewers know, it didn't take long for someone to make a comment about how he doesn't deserve any mourning because of what he did to his child awhile back. She was referring to him bringing his child into the crocodile cage with him. Holding the baby in one had and piece of dead chicken in the other, he feed the cage's captives. This did not sit well with many people around the world... and agreeably so. I'm am sure that isn't on the father-of-the-year ranking scale.
The comment section took a blaze with posts about how these people were stupid and how those people were stupid. A flame war about a man's death. Have we nothing better to do?
Despite his fatherhood skills, there are children around the world who loved watching his show. Weather you liked him or not, everybody knows "Crickey." He was able to make nature programming interesting again, despite your views on his methods. The world lost someone who had left their deep and visible mark on it. It is sad. death is sad.
I have made many mistakes in my life and I can only hope that when I exit stage right, my wife and children don't have to watch or read news about my mistakes as a father or husband. I only wish I could offer that same courtesy to the Irwin family.
It is entirely possible to feel remorse over someone's passing while acknowledging their faults. While I believe he should have never brought his son into the cage with him, I also believe it takes a very black heart to tell someone who is mourning the passing of the Crocodile Hunter that they are stupid. A very, very black heart.
