Cop Car Chase @ MindSay

I spent all day with Samantha and then continued into the night in hopes staying longer would allow me easier acces to a friend who lives in Delray. Despite not being called back, and feeling bummed out, I enjoyed myself at the dinner table with 2 jewish girls, an asian, a brazilian, and a german girl. ^_^ good shit.

so yeah after I realized I wasnt going to see my friend I figure I'd hang out with Diana (my best friend) and we have this habit of going to this massive park ar 12am if we're bored. Eh doesnt sound too smart right? Well we thought so too but we had never seen anyone there so we usually shrug it off. Tonight however we saw an Impala (the car, not the animal :-p) parked in the park. It looked like it could be an unmarked cop car or just two lovers having a romp in the backseat (like seriously who goes to a park at night unless you're going to fuck with the exception being me) but we didnt stay to stare. Usually we swing on the swings and just talk about whatever. Lately the conversation have been about relationships in general which is cool because I never felt comfortable talking to her about that kind of stuff. The swings were wet so we just sat on a bench. Meanwhile after about 15 minutes of talking, we see the car drive by us and then park. I start mildly freaking out telling Diana that we should get the fuck out of there but not run since it might be a cop. I start power walking to the car while Diana kept fumbling to get her phone out of the sand (she threw it there because I made fun of her) thank goodnes Diana has a nice much newer and bigger car than me because her lights flashed on and illuminated the impala that we thought had left. I leaped into Diana's car naturally out of sheer terror. We then see two "gang banger" looking guys get back in the car in quite a rush, and we hadnt even known they hadnt left or were around us. Diana starts the car and then the impala left the park going about 60 miles an hour and just raced the hell out of there. I don't know what they wanted or what they were going to do but needless to say I wont be going to the park at night ever again >_<

At this time it's about 12ish am and Diana and I were really shaken by what happened. I didnt want to go back to her place so we went to the movies and watched Ocean's 13 ^_^ it was awesome!

So I went out with Cal and his buddies 'racing', nobody ever really races, unless it's to settle a bet or something, but after a few 'races' (I don't think a lot of people were trying) a lone cop rolls up VERY slowly, and I hear "COP!" and we all scatter!

I get to my shiny Del sol, and I do the hard breathing and fumbling through my keyring thing, like you see in horror movies and it took me what felt like FOREVER to get my honda key!  By the time I get in my car and  get the thing started, most of the people had laid rubber to get out quickly, and I wait for Cal's buddy Kellen to get in my car with me, but by the time we switch seats (he's the faster driver of manuals) the cop rolls up behind my car, obviously getting a kick out of making so many people scram so fast, lol, cops smile evilly!

The cop brushes me off and watches Cal get into his shiny new RX-8, (and by this time, EVERYBODY had left to somewhere else, except Cal and I, lol) and then the cop rolls quickly to catch up with the racers.

Nothing to get the blood going like a close call, lol.
