Cocaine @ MindSay

Angela Christine Hill who lives off of Ebert Street in Winston-Salem is the girl who is lying about Dr. Anne White. She has a FELONY conviction for trafficking in cocaine and a long drug-related criminal record. She and her ex-husband ripped off her last employer for $15,000 and then she testified against him in court. Think twice before you hire this girl. She is trouble.

Recently I've discovered the pleasure of a dangerous cocktail of fun mixing lifesavers with optical cocaine. Before me sit a box of unused lifesavers and a dropper of optical cocaine. Enjoyment.

Yikes.

In the movie, Tatum plays an art collector that is hesitant to buy one of Jean-Michel Basquiat's paintings, because she's afraid the green will clash with her living room set.

            I snorted it once back in my crazy, almost suicidal, pre-Christian college days.  Cocaine.  Must have been inferior product.  Didn’t even get a buzz. 

 

            Perhaps I should be thankful for that.    

 

However, right here, right now, I confess that I was abysmal ignorant about how cocaine is processed.  My jaw dropped when I watched this video.  After it finished, I had a couple of questions.  “Who in the world, knowing what was used in the process, would ever want to put this in his/her body?”  The second was, “How in the world did anyone figure out how to do this?”

The presence of drugged fighters is not unknown in the history of warfare. Yet widespread drug use on the battlefield is now part of protracted conflicts largely fought by nonprofessional combatants that take place in an international system characterized by the process of globalization. From marijuana, khat, hallucinogenic mushrooms, cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine to looted pharmaceuticals, irregular fighters have found a ready supply of narcotics to consume for a variety of combat purposes. Such consumption has led to unpredictable fighting, the commission of atrocities, and to the prolongation of internal violence. The presence of intoxicated combatants will continue to be a feature of armed conflict and requires a fuller accounting to adequately prepare policymakers and military planners for future conflicts.
