It's the first day of summer and the weather is showing that.  It's going to be a beautiful day out here at Dorion Bible Camp with a high of 27C and a nice breeze to go along with it. 

The work crew did a lot of hard work yesterday. They cleaned all of the cabins, the washrooms, set up the chapel and the staff lounge, and the dining hall.  More work was done on the paintball area too.

If they keep up the pace, we should be done early this week.

Anyone in the Thunder Bay area who wants a nice shiny-clean vehicle should go to Evangel Church parking lot (Balmoral Ave beside the police station) on Saturday June 25 between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.  There will be a car wash going on with all proceeds going to the payment of Mt. Lister (seen in the picture above)

The dedication for Mt. Lister will be July 3 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the conference centre property (at the tower).  the SWATT team will be doing a demonstration and there will be hamburgers/hotdogs etc. for sale. Should be a fun time. :)

Only 12 days until camp starts!!!!

Today is the start of our camp prep week.  We'll be having some of our dedicated staff come and help us prepare the camp for summer.  We're looking forward to the fun we'll have together as we clean, organize, rearrange, sort, play, eat, and laugh.  It should be a good week as the weather forcast looks promising.

Only 13 days until camp starts! 

Well we thought that it might be a good idea to have a blog site for Dorion Bible Camp.  Just to let everyone know what is going on there (at Dorion Bible Camp) on a regular basis.  We will try to keep things entertaining for you.  Although, we won't have to try that hard.  Things are always entertaining at camp (Dorion Bible Camp in case you didn't get that) :)
