My brother and I were getting all the trash together so we could bring it to the road for the garbage men to pick up tomorrow morning.  He decided he had come up with a way to carry the trash bags more efficiently:  Hanging them on a stick balanced on his shoulders, "like the Chinese". 

Originally I was just going to film him carrying the bags, cuz I figured they'd end up falling off about a dozen times.  But then we got outside, and it was raining.  He never dropped the bags, but the situation became even more comical somehow.  lol

You may have to turn the volume up to be able to hear Josh at first, since he had his back to me for the first half of the video.  I hope you enjoy our exploits, or "feel his pain" as he calls it.  :p

P.S. -- I really hate hearing my own voice in a recording.  I sound so retarded.  X_x

When I last worked Tuesday ... I had driven the boss lady's truck over to Yreka to take one of the girls to drug court. I then dropped her off at the Family Resource Center in Ft. Jones where the girls were helping with set up of "Family Fun Night". 

When I got back to the house with the truck to trade for my own vehicle and go home .... "Buster" the dog greeted me.  He was loose, his dog carrier locked in the house for which I have no keys.

I loved him a bit and then got in the car and drove off.  Little Buster was running after me as fast as his little legs would allow so I stopped, picked him up, took him back to the house and told him to "Stay" sternly.  I drive off the second time with the same results ..... and then the third ..... after a ten hour day I really just wanted to go home so I made the decision to just go as fast as possible on this narrow country road and hope that the dog would give up once I was out of sight and return home.  So on the fourth attempt I made it out of the driveway and down the road with Buster hot on my tail until my speed left him in the dust .... so to speak.  Now anyone who knows me knows that this act alone doesn't set well with me.  I thought about bringing him home till they returned to the house ..... but decided against that ..... I could have sat for the next 3 - 4 hours till the girls got home with the dog outside ..... but I really just wanted to go home.  So I did what I did.  And let the guilt eat me alive the whole drive home.

The phone rings at 9:30 ..... I'm asleep .... passed out hard in bed ..... it's the boss lady asking if the dog was there when I returned with the truck.  Yes, I reply .... why .... ?  He's missing, she says.  I panic ..... jump out of bed .... get in the car .... and off I go for an hour of searching in the dark for Buster.  I go home defeated .... crying and worried about this little guy.

I don't call the next day .... afraid to hear that he didn't come home.  I tried calling yesterday am ..... but no answer at the house.  I couldn't bring myself to call in the evening when I knew the girls were home.  I figured I was on their shit list big time.  So I called this morning ..... boss lady answers .....

And YES ..... he's home ..... he showed up about 15 minutes after she had called me on Tues. night.  I can go wo work tomorrow without guilt or fear that the girls would never forgive me for this.

I bought a collar for Buster and a tag .... name, addy and phone #.

For those of you who keep an eye on education in this lovely country of ours.......I hope you all read the articles on cnn.com this morning.

 

One I got a kick out of and I say Good for the NFL, Eli Manning, and all the other NFL footballers that are supporting our country's youth in being more active.

 

The NFL is launching a new program to get kids more active outside of a sports fields!  Eli Manning made a stop at a Manhattan School and got the kids moving in Math class!  He helped to teach the students a simple math equation that most if not all medical personnel use!  How to caculate how fast ones heart is beating.  Mr. Manning had the students get moving in Math class, get up and count their heartbeats for 15 seconds and then times it by 4 to get their heartrate! 

 

In this new program the NFL and I am sure a lot more players besides Mr. Manning will be showing the kids on how to incorporate physical activites in their normal classes.  I dont' know why this is such a big deal for some schools a lot of rural schools and decent teachers have being doing this for a long time, but has laxed off of it due to all the paperwork, politics they have to play, and yes, even due to parental complaints.  A lot of the small things that we adults in our mid to late 20s and older were taught these basic physical things in normal classes, such as that one post that someone who made topblogs made about your foot!  Yes, try circling your right foot in a clockwise circle and then drawing a number 6 in the air with your right hand will cause your foot to change directions to counterclock wise with out you doing a thing!  We learned this in Science class! 

We learned the Heartrate trick in Health Class before many of us went on to carrers in the medical profession.  Many of us also learned that cleaning up your house, having sex (yes we were taught this in our health class), and playing with our kids as stay home mom's and dad's would burn more calories then we ever thought. 

 

So again good for the NFL for stepping up to the plate to help get our nation's youth back on track!

 

Now on to a story that boggles my mind, makes me shake my head at our society anymore (okay I do this alot), and wonder's what is wrong with adults who are in charge of our children at schools even more so then I do now!

 

Attleboro, MASS school district has banned tag, touchfoot ball, and other chase games because they are to dangours and do NOT want to get a libel suit brought against them if a child should get hurt.  Dodge Ball was already banned last year.  I am not to upset about Dodge Ball, that was banned when I was in jr high in my school district and a lot of school districts across NE, because of a lot of serious injuries that happened.  But the schools never stopped it from being played at recess or lunch breaks.    But I do know a lot of states have banned it from ever beening played.

 

A lot of states have already banned these games on their recess grounds.  Do they have any idea what they are doing to these children?  They are not only limiting their social growth on the playgrounds but are NOT letting kids be kids!  I dont' care how old kids are in elementry, they go out with the intent to forget school for that 15-30 mins of free time.  What are they doing!  If you watch a play ground for any length of time.......they all go buck wild for hte first 5 to 10 mins running, screaming, chasing, and letting some frustration out!  The older kids get games going!  parents and educators have been saying it for ever, kids need down time!  But thanks to our society we test them, push them, and demand more and more of them.  And now schools are trying to take away recess in lue of more studying and now they are banning school yard games!

 

Lets take a look at some other games that will be banned due to the chase and tag factors and ruffness:

Kick ball!  Yep this will be considered to ruff in a few months to years

oh lets not forget double dutch!  those ropes are going to end up tripping some poor kid and knocking their head or something so there goes:

and all the other jump rope chants!

Hopscotch!  Those rocks you toss could hurt someone by throwing or you might twist an ankle

Marbles and jax are all makign come backs with our children thanks to us and those wont' be allowed either.....they can be used as a wepan and poke a kids eye out!

no more archery

no more frisbee football

 

See pretty soon these "educators" are goign to have no downtime for our children.  These same ppl bitch and moan that our youth our "obese" but then they take away a time or take away games that can help improve not only thier minds but their bodies!

 

So if your a concerned parent, I strongly suggest you go to your school and find out what "games" are banned from your children!  Because it will end up being freeze tag or Green Light Red Light!  And if your upset about it do some research as to why they were banned to get all your facts and get on that band wagan and round up some support for your child's well being!

Alright. I'm gonna sound like a whiny little middle-schooler when I'm done typing this out but here goes:

Okay, so there's this guy Chase who I've been hella into for a year. We started out just friends then it progressed to more on both parts. Summer came and passed, but when the school year started, even though we'd bearly talked over summer, it's like we picked up exactly where we left off. Except with a catch. Near the end of last year Chase admitted he was into me, but also one of my friends. Apparently he felt more strongly for her because he ended up asking her out. The same day he played footsie with me in science and told me he wanted to bang me. INteresting, no? Not to mention the girl, Alli, who is also one of my best friends and knew how much Chase meant to me, proceeded to saying yes to going out with him. I'm not saying I expected her to say no, but she didn't even tell me or ask about it. She had known he liked her before she knew I liked him, and she had no interest in him untill I said I did. Again, interesting. So Chase and Alli were still together, but about a week into school she dumped him because they stopped talking. Chase was bummed because he honestly was just trying to catch up with his other friends and didn't realize that he was neglecting Alli. A week after that I got them back together because I got sick of seeing them mope. Alli told me she stopped liking CHase, but she suddenly started again the day the rumor flew that Chase was gonna ask me out.

 

Here's the second part of the story. A "friend" of mine, Erin, went away with me for a week over the sumemr and she told me that she wanted to get hotter to attract this guy Alex. She;d always been pretty, but not hott, and she definately hat the capeablitity to. So we worked on it. Clothes, styling her hair, makeup, ect. And she got hott, sure enough. She still had very low self-esteem however. So then she started noticing she had feeling for one of my best friends, Josh. He'd been into her, too so they got together. After a fucking week Erin dumps him and says she's not ready to date yet. Even though she's a freshmen. The next week Chase was asked who he thought the 5 hottest girls in 9th grade were in order, excuding Alli. The list went, Erin, A girl named Julia, Me, A girl named Tanya, and a girl named Emily. SOme girl told Erin about this and she sparked a sudden interst in Chase. Which was okay because we trusted that she wouldn't go behind Alli's back and do anything. Or mine. But as soon as she found out this outfit she wore made him pop one, she wore it the next day. And continued dressing in an increasingly slutty mannor. And now she's changed entirely. SHe dresses like a slut. She acts like a bitch. She was gonna go up to Chase and cry and just walk away to make him feel guilty for no reason. When some friends pointed out that it was kinda bitchy she said "Whatever girls. Bitchy's what I do best."

 

Story number three: CHase is Mr. Mixed Signals. He's all over the place. He flirts with me like no other, and then treats me like a rotting pile of shit. Finally I confronted him and just asked what was up and he said he's just been kidding around. Yet it's still continuing. And I just have this really bad feeling that Erin and Chase are gonna end up together and I;ll be stuck on the outside again. I know you can't expect much when you're a fat, ugly whore but I can't help it. I'm 5' 2" and weigh 95 and it's disgusting. I want to be 80 because I know I have the capability to be pretty eventually. Thin=beautiful.

 

But, there's nothing more satisfying than dragging a blade across a big blob of fat you wanna get rid of. You watch the blood trickle out and feel the adrenalin pumping through your veins and you just float away. Then the next day your clothes rub againt it and you remember not to eat. I'll get there.
